Chapter 1085: Great Battle Part 4

"You—" Young Master Sun clenched his teeth and knew that there was no way he could fight Alex. He was convinced that he could get Sherry, but to think one person, only a Rank 5 God, could overturn the entire situation. He quickly shouted. "Help me!"

"Young Master!" Three Rank 3 Gods appeared next to him, planning to strike Alex. They just barely escaped from their pursuer and tried to come to the Young Master after seeing William and Sullivan killed their opponents.

"I am sorry, but my king wants to bully that man a little bit, you know. So, I will be entertaining you for a while…That is if you don't die in the process." Lilda smiled and clapped her hand, summoning Eulja's logo on her back.

Meanwhile, Alex passed her side and said, "I am leaving them to you."

"No one shall touch you." Lilda nodded with a serious expression.

After hearing that, Alex jumped toward their Young Master with his weapons.

"Hii!" Young Master Sun wanted to escape immediately, but a shadow appeared from the ship, heading straight between him and Alex.

"!!!" Alex instinctively slashed his sword toward that shadow before getting repelled.

"Your Majesty!" Lilda shouted and became concerned about Alex's well-being.

Alex looked at the young man that suddenly came out. It was none other than the other prince that didn't have the same ideal as his father, Sun Gongming.

"I am sorry, but no matter how foolish my little brother is, I should be stepping in this situation." Sun Gongming calmly looked at Alex before asking. "If I may ask, is there a possibility where we can settle this peacefully, Your Majesty, the Spirit King?"

"I can see that you are different from them. However, it's already too late." Alex shook his head.

"In that case, I can only offend you." Sun Gongming raised his hands, summoning an array behind him.

"If you can, that is… I have been wanting to test my strength against a Rank 4 God anyway." Alex raised both hands, released his Absolute Blade Intent, Pure Weapon Qi, and his Godly Pure Fire, and summoned his two dragons.

"Lightning Dragon Array!" As one would expect from the son of an Array God. His array activation was only less than five seconds when people on his peer were supposed to make it in ten seconds to be considered a genius.

A lightning dragon similar to the one that Lin Xingzhi summoned emerged from the array, flying toward him.

Alex's two dragons, which had a smaller size, flew toward it, trying to burn that lightning dragon.

Surprisingly, the Lightning Dragon could move its hands and grabbed both dragons, crushing their heads as if nothing.

Alex's weapon spirits obviously didn't take it that friendly. Before the dragon disappeared, it released a burst of Fire Energy, burning the dragon's hand until it disappeared.

To complete his attack before Alex's Pure Fire burned the dragon as a whole, Sun Gongming forced the dragon to ram through him.

Surprisingly, Alex didn't even dodge and let the dragon swallow him, yet, Sun Gongming frowned instead of smiling.

His Lightning Dragon was ripped apart by a fox that emerged from Alex's back.

"Fire Authority, First Stage. Fire Avatar."

"…" Sun Gongming took a deep breath. In that instant, he understood the reason why the Spirit God was feared. Normally, it was hard for God Rank Expert to fight someone above their level, yet, the one before him could completely destroy his attack without even moving.

No wonder that Lin Xingzhi said that he couldn't be compared to those who possessed overwhelming prowess in the past. It turned out that if someone like Alex actually became a God King, he would possess so much offensive power.

Knowing that he couldn't hold back anymore, Sun Gongming summoned another Array. This time, it called a knife from it. The knife held a considerable amount of killing intent. Coupled with his lightning element, the knife flew like lightning.

Alex narrowed his eyes and disappeared.

The next second, he was already in front of the knife, thrusting his spear.

"Twin Fusion Spear."

The Space Element bent the knife's edge before the Pure Fire emerged from behind, obliterating the knife. Alex's momentum was still forward, heading straight toward Sun Gongming with his sword.

"!!!" Sun Gongming leaped backward to avoid that strike, but Alex didn't let him go away.

With his speed faster than him, Sun Gongming knew that Alex would catch up soon. Instead of running away, he summoned another Array.

As an Array Master himself, Alex noticed the symbols signifying the Barrier Array. It seemed that he needed to cut a barrier array first before cutting him down.

To his surprise, Sun Gongming clenched his hand and threw a fist.

'What? Why did he try to punch me? Does he want me to cut his ha—' When he was about to finish thinking, he noticed that the barrier array formed a small barrier to cover his fist instead of a square that would block him. 'Did he just make a boxing glove out of a barrier array? Seriously?'

Without having any choice, Alex slashed his sword early, resulting in him clashing with that glove instead.

"Three Purities Slash."

To everyone's surprise, Sun Gongming managed to blow Alex away. The latter tried hard to stabilize his position, but no one noticed it until Sun Gongming raised his hand.

The barrier was completely cut deep enough until the sword cut his fingers. It was painful, but the thought of his world getting annihilated just like that was more painful than him.

He didn't even let out a single groan when he saw no finger remained in his right hand.

What no one knew was the fact that Alex cut it with his Pure Sword Qi, the thing that was said to be capable of cutting anything. And with the Space Element and Fire Element enveloping it, it was, in fact, weird to see that it didn't cut Sun Gongming's hand.

It also showed the disparity between Sun Gongming and his brother. No wonder that people adored him as the next ruler after the Array God.

"No wonder the record said that the Sword God and the Spirit God could actually cut a planet into half. Seeing that you managed to cut my concentrated barrier like this, I believe that you would be able to cut a planet in the future." Sun Gongming exclaimed in amazement.

Alex narrowed his eyes and summoned his Fox instead of replying to him. After all, he could see that he had been trapped. There were four arrays lying behind him this whole time and Sun Gongming planned to use it after blowing him away.

"And you even notice the trap I have set up…" Sun Gongming raised his hand, activating the array. "But it's too late."

The four arrays shone as lightning started sparking in all directions.

Boom.

Despite knowing that Alex took the direct hit, no one from Eulja actually said anything.

Even Sun Gongming knew that something like that wasn't enough to kill someone at Alex's caliber.

Suddenly, a fire appeared, burning the residual lightning before Alex's figure came into everyone's vision. The Fox was gone, but fox ears and tail became a part of Alex.

"…" Alex took a deep breath and knew that the person in front of him was not your average Rank 4 God. He possessed both intelligence and power, unlike the one he tried to protect. He realized why Sun Gongming wanted to settle this peacefully.

He had been fighting to change his world.

"It seems that you are a fighter yourself. The one that wants to change something."

"As expected from a king such as yourself. Unfortunately, it's something not possible, right?"

"Unfortunately, no. I will use your world as an example to save…to warn more and more people. Besides, there is no guarantee that you will stay like this when you attain that power."

Sun Gongming suddenly fell silent as if he recalled something. Little did Alex know that his father, the Array God, was actually a warm and responsible father. However, everything changed so suddenly, and no one knew the cause.

"Still, it can't be changed. I am not fast enough to stop everything from happening. In that case, I would rather die while trying than escaping." Sun Gongming let out a long sigh before looking at his brother. "You should go. If you can escape, our family line will still survive."

Surprisingly, his brother didn't get emotional as if he planned to escape the whole time, albeit everything was too late.

"No. That's impossible." Alex shook his head before pointing his finger toward the enemy rank. "Look. It's my win."

They narrowed their eyes to see what he was pointing at.

Suddenly, a light shone behind the enemy lines.

"Four Light Authorities. First Authority, Life."

The light stunned everyone on the battlefield as they took a split second to see what happened, albeit that split second turned into a few seconds when they saw the change of their two spaceships behind.

The first one melted into molten iron before a giant pillar rose, destroying the entire ship. On the second ship, there was this black energy that was swallowing her the entire ship until nothing was left.

They were none other than Agnis in his Magma Salamander Form, Rilt with his Light Authorities, and Vina in her Night Ripper Form.

Agnis cupped his hand and roared. "Your Majesty. We have eliminated the remaining Rank 2 Gods in their territories. The other Guardians are cleaning up while we are coming for you as a reinforcement. May I know our order?"

When he asked the last question, Agnis released his killing intent. The order was already set in stone. Yet, he chose to scare the enemies once again by asking Alex the question.

Alex raised his hand, signaling Lilda to make a move.

Lilda smiled and clapped her hands as Eulja's symbol appeared behind her back. However, there was something different between her and Alex's. Next to Eulja Logo, she summoned two Array Circles instead of one.

In the past, Alex had enhanced her ability too, just like the others. And she managed to wield two Arrays at once due to Alex.

The left array summoned a giant spear, the one that the Array God used earlier, while the right one had numerous strings coming from it.

"Dual Array Control. Asura Spear Array and One Thousand Hell String Array."

Both of them flew toward the spaceship in front of Alex. The spear pierced it and was big enough to shatter the wing of the spaceship while the strings crushed it, ending up with an explosion.

Alex raised his hand at the fire and helped the outer space to make the fire disappear. What they could see was Alex's indifferent face as he opened his mouth. "I think the order is obvious… Leave no one alive."

Agnis and Vina smirked as they cupped their hands. "Order received."
