Chapter 1087: Great Battle Ends

"You b*tch! I am going to kill you!" shouted the Array God, Sun Gong. His face was red and his heart wasn't calm anymore.

Lin Xingzhi might haven't inflicted serious damage to his body, but he had wasted too much energy just to deal with her attack. If they fought for another few minutes, Lin Xingzhi might start getting the advantage.

Thinking for a moment, Sun Gong narrowed his eyes as though he made a decision in his heart.

Raising his hand before waving his two fingers, Sun Gong created another three Arrays next to him.

Lin Xingzhi raised an Ice Disturbance, freezing all three arrays, but the Array God simply used it as a cover, so the Ice Disturbance didn't freeze the arrays behind it. In other words, the ones she froze earlier were just fake.

Three spears emerged from the Arrays, flying toward Lin Xingzhi.

Lin Xingzhi waved her hands, controlling the Spiritual Energy diagonal to her. Due to the fact that she controlled two facing each other, she clapped her hands.

Both Fire Disturbances burst a powerful flame pillar that somehow connected to each other, turning it into a giant net that would catch the three spears.

"…" Lin Xingzhi's expression remained calm as she would keep him here until he was exhausted. Besides, his army had begun to fall apart with Alex on the move. "You are going to die no matter what, so just accept it."

"You are the one going to die!" He shouted.

Suddenly, the spears that got caught by the net disappeared, revealing Sun Gong's appearance. Because the net was to catch the giant spear, it had enough space for Sun Gong to go through as soon as his spears disappeared.

Lin Xingzhi clenched her teeth and spat another mouthful of blood. When she raised her hand, it had already changed color into black, coating her entire forearm.

'I need to see Alex.' Lin Xingzhi thought before light enveloped her, turning her hand back to normal.

Both were surprised when they saw someone appear behind Lin Xingzhi.

"My queen… Because you still need to fight, I will try hard neutralizing the poison. I can only treat you after you are done." It turned out the one who saved her was Rilt, but his condition seemed to be a bit bad as he spat out blood. "Seriously. What is this poison? It's trying to eat your energy, bone, and blood. "Are you alright, Rilt?" Lin Xingzhi asked while regaining her focus. Her eyes kept staring at Sun Gong, not wanting him to make another move, especially against Rilt.

Lin Xingzhi stretched her hand as there was a bridge between these two, connecting two different disturbances. This wasn't like how she created the net earlier because these two had a different element.

The fire would try to burn the lightning while the latter wanted to strike the former. Yet, Lin Xingzhi controlled them to make them in harmony.

"!!!" Sun Gong noticed the danger of this technique and sent his spears to destroy it, but the lightning protected them while carrying the fire to increase its power.

"No, I will reach her first!" Sun Gong thought as he tried to end her life with that snake hand of his.

Unfortunately, this was Lin Xingzhi's trick. The moment he got closer, she disappeared, allowing him to get the feel of her two disturbances.

When those two fully connected, it created a boundary that looked like a sphere, trapping Sun Gong inside.

The two Disturbances then got berserk after she lost control of them. However, it was still apparent that Lin Xingzhi had challenged the impossible.

To put it simply, Lin Xingzhi had created two natural phenomena and tried to fuse them.

The power was far beyond her expectation as it created a giant explosion that shook the entire battlefield.

The Array God's voice echoed but soon disappeared.

Rilt had caught her and took her away while sighing. "What did you do? That was scary and dangerous at the same time. Are you trying to kill yourself?"

Lin Xingzhi shook her head. "I am exhausted after using a large portion of my energy because this is the first for me. I think I want to use this opportunity to take another step forward.

"Good enough. For now, I will treat the poison and call Alex here." Rilt sighed and put her back next to the spaceship.

When Alex saw the explosion, he noticed Lin Xingzhi's condition and came back to her side.

Her face looked pale as she barely had enough energy to stand.

"What happened to you?" Alex's heart skipped a beat. His heartbeat increased rapidly and his hands started shaking.

"I am fine." Lin Xingzhi shook her head helplessly. "I just used something I am not used to. After this, I think it will be fine."

"…" Alex then bent his knees, holding her hand where she got bitten. "You or me?"

"You are faster. You do it," answered Rilt without hesitation. "Her Spiritual Energy is just exhausted. A bit of rest, she will be fine."

"I understand. I think the situation has been under control. Only two Rank 2 Gods on their side, so the battle will be concluded very soon." Alex assured him while channeling his Pure Fire inside her hand, burning all the venom. "Who caused this?"

"I think you should know this. When I fought that Sun Gong, his hand suddenly turned into a green snake. With this kind of toxicity, the toxin must come from one of the "weapons", the snake." Lin Xingzhi's tone was severe and her face turned grim, knowing that this might be another clue to the beast's weapons.

The problem would be locating them.

Alex smiled, assuring her. "Don't worry. I think I can handle this."

"Yes. Not everyone in his family was crazy. His son gave me his research about his father's change. To put it simply, his father seemed to be possessed." Alex narrowed his eyes.

"Don't tell me, it's the snake?"

"I think so. I will read his research later." Alex then turned to Rilt. "Do you think they will destroy the Array God's house? I think there will be a clue there."

"I don't think so." Rilt shook his head. "They like to fight and kill, but not destroy."

"Alright. But just in case, warn them to not touch his house. We will do a full-scale investigation there. This is the first time we have found this many clues." Alex narrowed his eyes, wondering if he should ask Silvia's father to participate in killing the snake or not.

Either way, he needed to check the information first.

"For now, you should rest here. I will settle this battle within two hours." Alex smiled before turning to Lilda who followed him. "Can you protect her instead of me?"

"But…" Lilda frowned. Her priority was his safety, so she wasn't sure about this.

"I will go with Sullivan instead." Alex smiled, assuring her that he had considered it.

Even though she was reluctant, she still nodded her head.

Alex then took out his weapons again and disappeared.

He and Sullivan roamed around the battlefield, cutting people down one by one. His Pure Fire was very effective in this situation, allowing him to kill the enemies one by one. With Sullivan next to him, all Rank 3 Gods died in just one or two minutes.

After a long work, the enemies had shrunk to only a few thousand and Alex delivered the killing blow a few minutes later.

This became the mark of their victory.
