1 gibberish chapter 1

Name:Gibberish Author:Lion_stylo
Where am I? No, really, where. I was walking across the road when suddenly I noticed my surroundings change. Ripple if I had to choose a word to describe what was happening.

The last thing I remember is loosing consciousness and my brain shutting off as if someone besides myself flipped the sleep switch on my brain. Everything else is darkness.

As soon as I opened my eyes I noted I wasn't in a city anymore.  Tall, dense trees as far as my eyes could see kind of made that obvious.

First thought that came to my head were that the lasagna I left cooking at home would get burnt. Uneatable even to the toughest stomachs if so.

If there was something I hated was wasting food. For real people, wasting food equals wasting money.

I don't even know who I'm talking to. Looks like I'll just talk to myself while I try to not freak out. That seems to work out in movies.

My survival training was close to nill so that wasn't going to make the situation any easier. I doubt there was a wall-e Mart anywhere around here.

I had the great idea of looking up into the sky; Sarchasm implied strongly. An expanse of stars appeared on my view. Well then, you, my dear conscience may ask,"oh what's so bad about stars." Well, nothing unless there are 10 times more of them in the sky than what you're supposed to see. Oh, and did I mention the 2 moons in the sky that after a careful look I noticed were in fact an actual, normal moon and a fractured planet.

You heard THAT right. A fractured planet that looked a bit less pretty than what sci-fi shows portrait broken planets as. Who should have though

Talking to myself wasn't going to help me this time. I am genuinely freaking out at what I am seeing. Just give me a few moments to do so.

Ok, that's better; not by much though. So, it was night time, I was alone at a forest with impossibly tall trees. Also, according to the stars it was a given that I wasn't living in the same side of the galaxy I used to do a few moments back.

I say a few moments back but in all honesty I have no idea how long I've been out. It just felt like sleeping. One moment you're awake, the other moment you're knocked out and then sometime later you wake up again.

Going back to the recap though;  Reality just combusted into itself as I was minding my own business walking home to try the lasagna I had been planning for weeks to make. For life to suddenly give me a slap on the face and say "you shall not have lasagna" and drop me in a forest on an alien planet was just great. What a good way to spend a saturday.

Well, nothing's going 'well' but let's see if we can make it Do go well. Trying to make inventory of what I had seemed like the best sane option at the moment.

I had a super-Q bag close to my left hand which included 2 bottles of water and 2 granola bars. I was coming from the corner store before the incident. I did so after getting bored of watching the lasagna in the oven cook.

I had my smartphone which all of a sudden lost the phone part because there is no signal anywhere around here(obviously). Hey, at least I got 84 percent battery left for now.

A Subaroo car key in a keychain that included a Swiss knife were also located in my right jacket pocket. I wasn't getting ready for a survival event but those little things are very practical. Anything from opening a bottle cap to having a nail cutter with a tooth pick besides it(not the best 2 things to have besides each other)  were the uses for said Swiss army knife.

A black jacket was covering me from the windy cold trying to destroy my already depleted will to continue. Some black jeans and a red shirt plus KE-NI shoes covered the look. Quite comfortable actually.

Yes brain, I just said continue. While talking to you I have been moving you forward to explore a bit before letting all hope of survival get lost. Wait, Is it me moving you or you, brain, moving me. That's not important at the moment but it's quite a good question.

Now that I'm thinking about questions, could there be any animals around me? There was oxigen, breathable and safe: well, hopefully it is since I've been inhaling it for the past hour.

My point is, generally when there is grass and trees there are animals and insects which means there is an ecosystem.

Basically I'm saying that I'm scared that any moment now a green colored gigantic moth cames over to eat me as appetizer before its meal. There is also the chance that bacteria my immune system is not used to killed me before I can figure out what killed my will to live by bringing me here.

Well, have to add that to the pile of worries and questions that only seem to be getting bigger.
