Mars: Don't worry sis. You know that i will be fine and that you won't be if the poison touched you.

Larch: So you are brothers.

Mars turned back to face Larch, Kuina and Nojiko. As he turned his sister could his back and the injuries inflicted on him by the poison. His back was all corroded showing the flesh beneath the skin, but at the same time on the extremities on the wounds were slowly healing back to normal. As he saw them and he knew that as his sister attacked them, they will want revenge on her, but he had to protect her, so before they did anything he rushed towards them.

Seeing the man running towards them, Larch didn't even paid attention to him as put his sword back in their sheath, then he put his hand in front of the man.

Larch: Stop! It's not like i can't see your situation. Let me guess your history. You are a couple of orphans brothers that since childhood have only each other to count upon. If i am not wrong from seeing your back a second ago you can't be older than 15 years old and you are starving aren't you? You sister must be in the same situation and i think that she knows that you don't possess a chance. So would you like to stay for dinner? I hope that you both don't mind.

Kuina: If what Larch-kun said is true, then i don't mind.

Nojiko: Yeah they what they did was wrong but nothing that serious.

Mars and his sister were stunned by this scene, but having the kind of having the experiences they had, none of them dropped their guard. Kuina and Nojiko went together to the kitchen to prepare dinner from everyone, while leaving Larch behind with the bags and boxes while a tear was descending from his eye, as he knew what wait him the next time he spend money without thinking first or asking them.

During dinner all of them got to know each other better. They all got to know the past of Mars and Beth. They were as guessed by Larch orphans siblings, they were the sons from a hooker that gave birth to them then tossed them away. The same night they got tossed away, a woman came and took them away to take care of them. That lasted for 5 years when some mans came to their house broke in robbed everything raped the woman that took care of them and killed her, in the middle of that Mars tried to defend his house and 'mom' who made him taking a beating almost leaving him dead. Beth then went to get help, but no one helped them as she was returning she found the house where the mans from before stayed, then sneakily she killed all of them and stole their money and went to find a doctor to save her brother, but the doctor she had found was also a scientist and as he was operating her brother he also was fusing genes of a giant on him, explaining the reason of Mars' body. As she found that Beth killed the doctor/scientist and got with the money that she had given to him earlier. The next days, months and years were though as Mars appetite grew by day. Mars realizing that he was complicating his sister' life he so he tried to commit suicide, but his sister caught him and said that if he died that she would follow him right away. Since that day Mars worked even more hard, having 3 works at the same time with no time to sleep for him to pay his appetite and for easing his sister life. But it wasn't enough as he couldn't satisfy his hunger. Problems like thugs coming to their house occur many times, but every time Mars resolved everything with his sister also dealing with it in the dark.

Larch: Wow big guy, you sure eat a lot. I guess even 1 small Sea King won't be enough to satisfy your hunger. Hearing from your situations i would like to propose a offer.

Beth and Mars hearing him narrowed their eyes and got ready for anything to come, as many persons had made many offers to Beth, but Mars crushed them all, while Beth eliminated the roots of the problems.

Larch: Calm down. I am sure that you will like this offer. Would you like to join my crew?
