30 Thriller Bark

Back to Pluton. Larch was no longer in it, as he was floating in the air, by 'jumping' in the air using Geppo. In front of him stood a giant black octopus.

If it wasn't Larch jumping from time to time, it would had seemed that time had stopped in this moment, as neither of them moved since. The moment Larch moved slightly his right hand, the octopus acted at the same time moving all of it's tentacles trying to trap Larch. As the tentacles came closer to Larch, they all were cutted into tiny pieces, by Larch sword shield.

After the tentacles were cutted, Larch dashed out of there.

Larch: "Now that was fast."

As he thought about it, he finally moved his right hand, that was holding Higure, sending a slash towards the octopus, making it put it's tentacles in front, blocking the sword slash. In the process of blocking the sword slash, the creature lost none of it's tentacles, surprising Larch.

Larch: "What happened? My sword shield cutted numerous of it's tentacles, but my sword slash couldn't do anything to it."

During the time he was thinking, he observed the creature in front of him, seeing that the tentacles that he had cutted were all healed.

Larch: "Let's try to not cut the tentacles for now. I just have to avoid them then attack the head."

Finishing his thought, the octopus attacked him again, only to attack air, as Larch had vanished from there, he right beside, but his aura around him was more darker and demonic than before. A dark mist was being issued by Larch. That sight scared the octopus. He felt as if he was looking towards a true demon, even though Larch appearance didn't change.

As Larch moved his right arm again another sword slash came out, this time smaller than the previous one, but the color in it darker, as the slash came near the octopus, it raised it's tentacles to block the slash as it had done previously.

The moment the slash connected with the tentacles, it seemed as if it was cutting butter.

Boom

As the sword slash passed through the body of the octopus it connected with the ocean, cutting it apart reaching the ground and making a large crater on it, before the water covered it up. Turning to look at the octopus all of it's tentacles were cut, while it's head was missing a part. It's animal instincts had kick in, when the sword slash cut it's tentacles, making trying to dodge the slash, getting to not be killed in it.

As the octopus was hurt, it stared in disbelief at the human in front of it. It didn't know how the human in front of it gained so much power in little of time, knowing this the octopus knew that it simply a bug in front of this human.

ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

As it roared the wounds on it's head and tentacles started healing at a visible pace, at the same time the sea tremble greatly as tsunami emerged behind it going towards Larch direction, in which behind him(Larch) stood Thriller Bark and Pluton.

Larch seeing it he decided to stop it, as he knew that Pluton could take an even bigger tsunami and come out perfectly fine, but on Thriller Bark was Law, Beth, Kuina and Mars, who had eaten a Devil Fruit, besides he had a feeling that another important person was on the island.

Deciding this his aura rose even higher and bigger covering the whole zone, making everyone around him in a radius of 1km tremble. His hair stood up like flame, the sword on his right hand vanished from sight, as he held Bloodthrist with both hands. Swing vertically a huge red slash was emitted, the slash was so big that it seemed to cover the sky and earth at the same time.

As the slash came in contact with the tsunami, it as cut in half, following this the borders from where the slash passed through, it was as if the life force of water was leaving the water, turning the water gray, then surprisingly the water scattered as if sand. The octopus was trembling without stop while looking at this scene, in doing this he gazed upon the human that did such action, even thought that the human still looked like a demon to the octopus, it had a majestic aura as if it was also a god. Both auras combined made the octopus to want to submit to the human in front of him, until it saw something out of the ordinary that took him out of it's stunned state and attacked the human with it's tentacles.

Whoosh

As the tentacles were flying in the sky towards Larch the sound of cannons firing was heard, blasting the tentacles away. The octopus upon this traced the cannonballs back to find the ship that flew away earlier of the battle between it and the human.

On the ship, in the control room a beautiful woman was running all over the place clicking in the buttons making Pluton launch attacks on the octopus.

Larch on the sky looked at this scene, his whole body was covered in blood, the reason was that he had activated a new power he got in the middle of the battle with Enel, more precisely the moment Enel stabbed Nojiko in the back. He had awakened his demonic powers hat were deep inside of him. Their origin was unknown, as in One Piece history neither of his parents possessed such power had this kind of powers.
