Chapter 1135 - Liuxi, Why Did You Lie to Me?

Yan Su switched off her phone. She couldn’t bear to read further and she felt terrible.

Was she that obvious? She thought she did an all right job.

At the same time, Mo Liuxi was hiding his Christmas gift in her apartment.

He had ordered the present before the Shi Xiang incident. He knew that Beyoncé was her favorite American singer and he asked a friend to record a short clip of Beyoncé as a gift for Yan Su.

After he hid it, he went to the bathroom and washed his hands. Hearing his phone ring, he quickly went to the living room to pick it up. On his way out, he tripped over the dustbin and the contents spilled all over the floor. It was a bunch of empty boxes and pregnancy kits.

He bent down and picked one up. There were two red lines on it and he had never seen a test kit before. He checked the results against the instructions on the box and he realized that the kits were reflecting positive results.

Why did Yan Su have positive kits in her bathroom?

She never had friends over, so who would test themselves at her apartment? These must be hers.

Mo Liuxi collapsed on the floor; he was in a trance. He never really slept with Yan Su, so they couldn’t have a child. She was carrying someone else’s child.

He thought that Luosang said that she was still a virgin. Even if she lied, she didn’t come across as a frisky woman.

How could she be pregnant? No wonder she looked so ill and was always puking. She was vomiting because she was pregnant. Who was the father? Shi Xiang? When did this happen? Before they started dating? Or after?

Mo Liuxi’s mind was a mess. He didn’t want to think badly of Yan Su but how could she be pregnant?

He didn’t mind if she wasn’t a virgin but why did things have to turn out like this? He bent the pregnancy kit into two. He had never felt so broken.

What was she going to say to him that night? Was she really looking for a breakup, now that she was pregnant? He would never accept someone else’s child.

At 11:40 p.m., someone knocked on the door. Mo Liuxi dragged his weary body to the door and Yan Su was standing there. They looked at each other and they both had troubling thoughts on their minds.

“Why… did you take so long to come to the door?” Yan Su stuttered.

Mo Liuxi looked up at her. After the incident that happened a couple days ago, she had said that she felt as if she was being treated like an object. He had to control himself this time. He didn’t want to taint their relationship with hatred and ugliness. He didn’t say anything and Yan Su felt a wave of uneasiness.

She changed into her slippers and walked into the apartment.

The apartment was the same as she had left it. There weren’t any surprises in store for her this Christmas. She clutched the necklace in her pocket. It was a present she had picked out for him a few days ago.

There was still so much to clarify first.

She inhaled sharply and said, “Liuxi, let me ask you something. Did you… sleep with An Ning?”

Mo Liuxi’s pupils constricted. He never wanted Yan Su to find out about this. He was worried that she would mistake him as an insincere person, but he didn’t expect her to find out on her own. “An Ning told you?”

“She sent over nude pictures of you two.” Yan Su placed the photos on the table. “I asked you about An Ning before. When she came over to take care of you when you fell ill, you said you were groggy and she followed you in. You told me nothing was going on between the two of you. Liuxi, why did you lie to me?”
