Chapter 1339 - A Man’s Secret

She couldn’t figure this man out. He made her feel like she was in a pot of honey when he was good to her, but he was unbearable when he was mean.

She couldn’t see him with clarity.

Maybe she was bad at judging character in the first place.

When they were almost at the bar, Mo Liuxi suddenly stopped. “You go in there first.”

Yan Su understood his meaning. The two of them were already the center of attention. It would be highly suggestive and suspicious if they appeared together. “Oh right. Why did you come out here anyway?”

Mo Liuxi froze for a second before he looked at her. “A man’s secret.”

“…”

Yan Su regretted asking him the question. She should have just minded her own business.

She walked into the bar.

Some were singing, some were chatting at the bar and some people were playing games.

When Yan Su walked in, Shi Xiang walked over to her immediately. “Where did you go? I looked around the bar for you. I was just going out to find you.”

“I just wanted to get some fresh air outside.” Yan Su sat down and grabbed the cup on the table.

Ji Nuanyi looked at the bandage on her hands and asked, “You injured your hands?”

“I fell,” Yan Su said casually.

Shi Xiang frowned. “We’re in a foreign place. Don’t go out alone in the future. It’ll be troublesome if you bumped into an obsessive fan.”

“All right.”

Tang Yueqi walked over. “Miss Yan, have you seen Liuxi around?”

Yan Su looked up at Tang Yueqi in the dim light and said, “Nope.”

“Thank you.” Tang Yueqi walked away.

Yan Su looked down. She had a feeling that Tang Yueqi could sense that something was up.

Since he always had women around, his girls always had other competitors.

After about ten minutes, Mo Liuxi walked in with his flamboyant outfit. He immediately garnered stares in the room.

Li Ming nearly spat out his drink when he saw him. “Why did you change your outfit kid? Are you all right? What’s up with this look?”

Ji Nuanyi was holding back a giggle. “You’re really standing out with the orange and red. How did you come up with this?”

Yan Su felt sheepish as everyone made their remarks.

Mo Liuxi glanced over at Yan Su and said, “I was out just now when I saw someone get robbed. I thought I’d be a good Samaritan and chase after the thief. I fell into the sea because of that and I had to buy a new set of clothes.”

“…The sea again,” Ji Nuanyi looked at him with a curious expression. “You have an odd fate with the sea here in Venice.”

“Indeed,” Mo Liuxi said coolly.

They partied till late that night.

When Yan Su returned to the hotel, she was exhausted.

After she showered and got ready for bed, she realized that Mo Liuxi had added her on WeChat.

Yan Su had deleted his contact information when they broke up. She had mixed feelings when she saw his request.

Should she accept it? After all, he was Yan Yan’s father. If she added him, would they be entangled again?

Would it make things complicated again? She would decide the next day. She put her phone down and went to bed.

After sleeping for three hours, her phone started ringing.

She had thought it was some emergency from work or at home, but when she looked at the caller ID, it was an unsaved number. She recognized the number though. It was Mo Liuxi.

Her heart was pounding when she picked up. “Hello, who is this?”
