Chapter 7：Your Highness

Israfel can feel his body… he wants to touch her more, but decided not to. He maybe the son of a demon but he will respect this girl in his arms.

They heard a chirped in the window. Israfel opened it and let Dara in.

"Where have you been?" Israfel ask the bird

"Oh, I was summoned by the teacher… I felt really tired" says Dara.

"I want you to meet someone" Israfel says

Dara look at Israfel and the girl beside him.

"Oh my! Is this Maria?" Dara asked

"Yes, and would you believe if I tell you that were together now?" Israfel

"I can sense it my friend, but I have to warn you she's not just a simple Nymph" Dara

"What do you mean?" Israfel

"Oh! You didn't tell him yet your highness?" Dara looking at Maria

"Your highness?" Asked Israfel

"Well… she is the granddaughter of the King Samon, she holds a throne in our world" Dara explained

"Oh, I haven't been there… that's why I don't talk about it yet. I heard it from my mom but I still have to wait until my twentieth birthday" Maria explained to Israfel

"oh!" says Israfel

"So you two came from the same world?" Israfel ask them

"Uhuh! Literally" says Maria

"I'm impressed" Israfel says

"Israfel, you should send her highness home. Your father is coming to visit you" says Dara

"I can sense his presence is already near, your highness, you should go before I throw the dust so he won't be able to recognize us." Says Dara

Maria, ran out of the house and left Israfel confused.

"Think of her highness now so I could cover it with my dust, or your father will see her through your mind" Dara says

Israfel followed what Dara says. He is afraid his father might get a hint about Maria.

He wouldn't let his father touch Maria not if he's alive.

Maria got home already, good thing her parents are already out for work.

Maria is really happy. She still can't believe that the most handsome guy in the school is already her boyfriend.

She hugged her pillow and embraced it.

"Oh my God! Am I not dreaming, Is this for real?" Maria closing her eyes and thinking about the things that happened earlier with Israfel.

She touched her lips and she still can feel the excitement a while ago.

"Oh my God, I'm in love" says Maria while lying in her bed.

She fell asleep while thinking of Israfel

Good thing it's Saturday and her siblings are still asleep.

Their maids are already busy with their household chores when she woke up.

She had a shower already and preparing for her lunch, since she wake up late.

She went out for a walk when she's done eating. Still thinking of what happened last night.

She cannot hide her smile… she's still overwhelmed by Israfel.

On the other side

Israfel is trying his best to act normal in front of his father, Hades.

But his father's men keeps on sniffing inside the house. It's like they were smelling something good.

Israfel keeps on thinking about food and places where he wants to go.

"Why do you keep on thinking about food, are you hungry?" his father

"Do you want to go somewhere?" His father again

"Uh… I haven't eaten my breakfast and lunch yet. " Israfel

"Eat! You should not starve yourself" says Hades, his father

"Anyway, where are my other siblings?" Asked Israfel

"Oh! Moira is busy seducing the priest in the village, I really hope she got him" says Hades, the he laugh really creepy and loud.

Good thing his house is sound proof or it will scare the hell out of his neighbours.

"What about the others?" Israfel asked his father

"Osiris, is a very talented singer, she is using her voice to attract and get souls from people, and your other two siblings are busy making money. They buy souls… Ha! Ha! Ha!" Hades, His voice is really creepy.

"I came here to ask you, when are you going to give me souls Israfel?" Hades, in his monotone voice.

"I want to finish my studies first" Israfel answered in a soft voice

"Ahhhhh…. You are so soft! You don't need to finish your studies in order to bring me souls. You can finish your studies in one sitting if you want… you are a genius Israfel" Hades says in a loud voice.

"I want to act like a normal person, people will find me very strange if I am going to show off" Says Israfel

"You are not a normal person Israfel, you are not a human" Hades

"If you can't bring me souls, then get a girl who could give me another prince. "his father's last words.

His father and his men vanished right in his eyes.

Israfel remains seated... he was analysing his father's last words to him.

"Does he know anything about Maria?" Israfel is talking to himself

"Why did he say that?" Israfel again

"I think he has a hint" Dara says, Israfel didn't noticed that Dara is already back

"But how?" Israfel asked Dara

"Maybe you were trying really hard not to think of Maria, what were you thinking a while ago while your father is here?" Dara asked him

"I keep on thinking of anything, from food to places to cars" Israfel said

"He got a hint, you are trying to avoid something that makes you nervous... He feels it" Dara says

"Oh, What to do now?" confused Israfel said.

"On his next visit, would you allow me to take everything about Maria from your head?" Dara

"How is that?" Israfel

"You have to think of Maria again, then I am going to take it from your mind... you won't be able to remember her name, her face, her scent nor recognize her until I give it back to you." Dara explained

"I think we should do that, I'm afraid I might get caught, I don't want to hurt Maria" Israfel

Israfel was very thankful of Dara. He wouldn't know what to do without Dara.

"Don't worry about your memory about Maria, no one will got it from me. I have to die first" Dara promised Israfel

"Thank you for your help" Israfel says

"You are my friend and I need to protect her highness" Dara says

In the underworld

Hades POV

"I know, Israfel is hiding something from me" Hades says

"He is trying to focus on everything to avoid me reading his mind" Hades

"Israfel, don't you dare think that you can fool your father" says Hades

Maria's POV

"Oh, I miss him already" Maria thinking about Israfel

"What to do?" Maria is talking to herself

When she heard a knock on her door.

"Maria, you have a visitor downstairs" says the maid

"Oh, thank you I'll be right there" Maria answered

"Who could that be?" Maria

She went down to see her visitor…

"Huh?! You came" Maria, surprised

Israfel came to visit Maria..

"Hi!" Israfel showing a smile to Maria

"H- Hi!" Maria answered in a cautious voice.

"Please sit down" says Maria as she gestures the sofa to Israfel.

"So, how was your father?" Ask Maria

"L- Let's not talk about him, I don't want him to get even a small hint about you" Israfel says while taking Maria's hands.

"Oh" says Maria then smiled

"Do you want to go out?" Israfel asks Maria

"Where are we going?" Maria ask

"I didn't had my lunch yet, I'm starving" Israfel explained

"O-Okay!" Maria answered

Maria asked their maids to look after her siblings. Then they took off.

Israfel ordered meat while Maria ordered vegetable salad.

They were already eating when someone came in and approach them.

Chapter 5

It was Andrea, the girl from the party.

"Hi! Handsome" Andrea says, then tried to hold Israfel in his face

Israfel managed to take her hands off…

Israfel is looking at Maria's face, trying to read her mind but he sees nothing.

"Mind if I join you?" Andrea, taking her seat next to Israfel

"Oh, I- I'm sorry…" Israfel

"Sure!" Maria answered Andrea

Israfel look at Maria's face instantly. She's trying to creep the hell out of him.

Israfel felt hot all of a sudden. He didn't know what to do.

Andrea calls the server and placed her order.

While waiting for Andreas order. Israfel felt the uneasiness in their settings.

Maria, took some salad in her plate, put it inside her mouth and chew it while looking at Israfel's face. Israfel wants to vanished at that very moment.

Maria took some salad again and offered it to Israfel. Israfel took the bite.

"Oh! You know, you two are so sweet… if I haven't known you for that long I would probably think that you are lovers" Says Andrea

"We are!" Shouted Maria in her mind

Israfel heard it and automatically look at Maria.

"Anyway, Israfel would you mind if I ask you to accompany me, I want to watch a movie" says Andrea while trying to hold Israfel's hand

Israfel hide his hands under the table, he could feel the tension all over his body.

"Oh! By the way Maria you can tag along" Andrea says

Maria is already busy with her food, her eyes are on her plate, trying to feed herself without looking at anybody.

"What if I blow this woman out of the window?" In her mind again

Israfel keeps on looking at her, Israfel can hear her inner voice.

"Or should I just mix her in her bowl of salad?" Maria again

Israfel is trying hard not to laugh on Maria's thoughts

"What am I a witch?" Maria again

"Or should I just leave them two?" Maria asking herself, when suddenly

"NO!" Says Israfel in a loud voice

Maria was a little bit flustered with Israfel's words.

They were looking at each other when suddenly Maria heard Israfel's inner voice.

"Try to go anywhere and I will hunt you down" says the inner voice of Israfel

"Maria was surprised, she can hear Israfel's mind"

They didn't noticed that Andrea is looking at them intensely

"Is there something wrong with the two of you, why do you keep on staring at each other... are you in a fight or something? Maria asked Israfel smiling

"Actually Andrea, I want you to meet someone here" Israfel looking at Maria intensely

"Andrea, meet Maria my girlfriend" Israfel says without taking her eyes off with Maria

Andrea, stopped talking, she looked at Israfel and then Maria

"Are you kidding me?" Asked Andrea… she doesn't want to believe them.

"I know you are just using Maria so you can get off the hook with me... I am sorry to tell you... I don't buy it "Andrea said while laughing

Israfel stood up, hold Maria and kissed her, deeply.

Andrea was shocked... she stood up and push Israfel then went out of the shop.

"You fool!" Says Maria when Andrea is already gone

"I can't find a better way to tell her" says Israfel laughing

"I think I am going to melt here" says Maria in a soft voice

"In that case, should we go?" Israfel still laughing

"We should before I shred you to pieces" laughing Maria said

Israfel laughed as she followed Maria out.
