"Tell me, would you love her?"

Winter asked again. This time with resentful eyes.

Jonny put the half-finished cigarette out, his eyes reverted into the gloom. "I don't know.

When it comes to love, everything is uncertain. So I can't answer your question,"

Jonny replied remorsefully. He was about to stand up when Winter held him back by grabbing his hands. "Jonny, did it ever cross your mind that this 'present me' is actually a part of Summer?", she exclaimed. "However, the shadows from her childhood made her shun the spotlight which belonged to her in the first place. That light was suppose to showcase the real her.

She lived with great fear and gave up all hopes to maintain a good impression to please everyone. She did all that because she was afraid to be rejected and be out of favor, especially... by you!"

Winter said, wrapping her arms around his waist from behind. "Now that Summer has become like this, you are her only hope. As long as you could be nice to her and help her rebuild her confidence, she can certainly heal!"

Jonny knew for a fact that what Winter was saying was true. He was the only person Summer would really care about.

He closed his eyes and heaved a sigh. "I know, and I've convinced myself before. I convinced myself to try to fall in love with her. But it wasn't easy at all. It takes time."

Winter rested on his back and held him tight saying, "Don't leave. Please stay for the night. No matter who wakes up tomorrow morning, whether it be Summer or me, just don't leave me alone, please?"

She interrupted him as he was about to say something. For she knew that what he was about to say wouldn't make her feel any better.

"I don't know how much longer I will stay. I just want you to stay with me as long as I'm awake. Could you do that for me? Please, Jonny?"

Winter pleaded. She held him a little tighter this time and refused to let him go.

After a while, Jonny let out a sigh, and turned around to embrace her. Then he said, "Okay...I'll stay."

When Winter heard that he agreed to stay, she nodded with a grin and kissed his cheek on tiptoe.

Jonny and Winter shared a passionate warmth as they cuddled each other amidst the chill brought by the melancholic night.

As Jonny played with her hair, both their hearts were overjoyed and peaceful.

They had no idea who fell asleep first, nothing seemed t

When her boyfriend betrayed her, all light and joy was gone from Cherry’s life. Deserted, bereft of hope, she married a man that she had barely met, but she had never expected him to be her ex-boyfriend’s uncle.

Cherry thought that she had finally found her happiness, but she had no idea about the dark secrets that were bound to unfold and haunt her forever...

fferences. It was really, really different. And the differences were really unfair. You think so?" Summer simpered.

"I'm really jealous, very jealous. I wish he could look at me the way he looked at Winter. It would feel like heaven for me!"

Summer closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and opened her eyes again. She topped herself with another glass of beer. "You see, Joyce, now I have just twigged. Even if I leave, I will be strong and leave him with a victorious smile!

When I do that, I...Summer, would never let anyone look down on me ever again! Not ever again!"

Joyce listened to her and breathed with relief. "That's right. It looks like being drunk once in a while has its benefit on you. You should have twigged a long time ago. Look at you, you've been pushing yourself too hard these years.

But Jonny wasn't right as well!"

She had to figure out some way to help them out. It would not be easy for Jonny to have feelings for someone else if Winter disappeared someday. He would become a monk for sure.

But what could she do to make their relationship work when Winter disappeared?

This was the question that needed to be answered carefully.

For Jonny to find true love, as well as for Summer, Joyce as the ever-helpful sister thought that she should do something to help both of them.

Joyce wondered what possibly could she do to tie them up together and make them inseparable.

Then an idea was formed in her mind.

Her face brightened as a crafty look came into Joyce's eyes. She had the perfect plan!

A sleepover would be fun, wouldn't it?
