Chapter 234 - Settling the Past (1)

After a few minutes, Jin Yue walked back into the room as she bowed slightly "Young Master, they have arrived" she announced before walking out, Yun Long placed a barrier around so that no one could listen in on their conversation.

The three who had just arrived, silently sat on the sofa that Yun Long was seated across, well Xing Mei did until she noticed the silent Xing Tong lying on his ŀȧp, she quickly stood up and hugged her daughter.

"Mother…" Xing Tong started sobbing, in her mind her mother had still been in the process of being in the hands of their hated enemy, the Moon God Realm, so seeing her here brought her to tears almost immediately.

Smiling as she cried alongside her daughter, she looked at Yun Long through her teary eyes as she wondered why her brought her daughter here today, since she already discussed with him on numerous occasions that he would wait for her to come to him.

"Do not worry Mei'er, instead of overthinking things, you should comfort your daughter…" Yun Long muttered as he then looked to towards the silent Yun Qingyun and Xia Qingyue.

Yun Long started speaking in a heavy tone "Qingyun, Yue'er… do you remember about the woman I spoke about before, Qianye Ying'er?" Yun Long asked them in a solemn tone.

Even the crying Xing Mei and Xing Tong started to listen when he mentioned her name, especially Xing Tong.

Yun Qingyun was the first to speak as she nodded "She is the one who schemed against the Moon God Emperor… and the reason I was attacked, leading to me being saved by Hongyi…"

Xia Qingyue's eyes flashed when she heard her mothers words, but Yun Long started speaking once more "Yes, she is the Brahma Monarch Goddess, she was the one behind the scheme of your ȧssassination attempt, she was the one who used the Heavenly Wolf Star God so that she could recover a legacy in the God Realm of Absolute Beginning, she is also the one behind the kidnapping of Mei'er, even though those were consequences of actions she was unaware of…"

Xing Tong's eyes were filled with killing intent, but her eyes almost froze when she heard his next sentence.

"She is also the woman of Yun Long, and she is also no longer Qianye Ying'er, she is Yun Ying'er… I have been reluctant to tell you all about it… in fact I think I have tried my best to keep her away from you guys… because I know how much of a b*tch she was in the past…" Yun Long announced with a clear voice.

Once Yun Long finished speaking, the room became silent once more, until Xing Tong bit her bottom lips so hard that she was bleeding "How… how you can like that despicable woman! She was the reason brother would have died!"

"She was a despicable woman Tong'er… but if she is a despicable woman, then you may consider me the pinnacle of what a despicable man is… she made mistakes in the past, and she herself knows that, which is why she is fine just being in the shadows…" Yun Long explained to her, but seeing her accepting look in her eyes when she gazed at him, Yun Long hated that feeling.

"But I hate that… even though wishing that a harem, one as big as mine, will have perfect harmony, is impossible, but I do not wish for my wives to clash with each other, like I said before, I do not want for you to forgive her, or even like her… but if you can just accept each other's presence that would be fine… having her secluded by herself like that is truly unfair to her, and as her husband… I am truly making a mistake by letting her accept that life" Yun Long replied to Xing Tong with a determined voice, he would eventually convince Ying'er to settle in with him.

Xing Tong did not respond to him since she didn't truly understand why he was so upset, until Xing Mei spoke up "You mentioned that she had changed… and her actions were because of her father?Do you mind sharing her story with us so we can understand why and how she became one of our… sisters…"

Xing Mei responded with a composed voice, she tried her best so that Yun Long didn't have face to many troubles with this matter, even though she had a slight hatred for the girl she heard about in the past, because her son would have died because of this same woman, but her love for Yun Long made it easy for her to settle that hatred and compromise for him.

"Un… well let me tell you about our encounters first…" Yun Long said as he spent the next two hours explaining her backstory, how she was manipulated, her father's true character, and how they became 'lovers'

Yun Ying'er was listening to the report from Yue Ying regarding the translation of the World-Defying Heaven Manual, but since only the Creation Gods of old could even recognise the Divine Text of Absolute Beginning, they had not achieved any progress, but she didn't mind it since she knew that her 'husband' most likely had a method to decipher it.

She then sensed a fluctuation in the space in her personal realm, the golden Vimana: Ark appeared before her eyes, and both Fu Xian and Yue Ying had a slight smile on their face when they recognised this vehicle.

Appearing from within Vimana, Yun Long smiled when he saw the three, and he noticed the fragment of the World-Defying Heaven Manual, which caused him to open his palms, the fragment he collected from the Moon Slaughter Devil Sovereign Nest dropped onto his palms which caused the aura of Yun Ying'er to fluctuate ever so slightly.

"Heh… catch… you might as well try and translate it whilst I am gone…" Yun Long said to them as he threw the round piece of black jade that resembled the fragment towards Fu Xian who comically caught it.

"But enough of the jokes, these fragments are related to my second mission that my Father-in-Law gave me, so if I hand it over to you I want some compensation… and they will still be my possession… you may only borrow them…" Yun Long said to Yun Ying'er who just nodded, she just ȧssumed he wanted some… cough… and she belonged to him so it didn't matter if he gave it to her permanently or not.

Nodding, Yun Long handed the real fragment to Yun Ying'er, placing the black jade into her hands, he then said "Then I wish for you to meet four people for me… and I hope you can hash out your previous differences… hmm… let me rephrase that, even though it is unfair Ying'er… I want you to reconcile with them as best as you can… is that fine?" Yun Long asked her after he removed her mask.

'Haiii… truly a sinful face…'

"That is fine, who is it you wish for me to meet? You wished for me to reconcile with them… so it must be someone I have 'wronged' previously? Mn... you also do not mind bringing them to me… so your other women? I see… the time has finally come huh… since you mentioned you were leaving tomorrow, I ȧssume you brought them with you?" Yun Ying'er asked after she noticed the present Vimana: Ark, Yun Long only did so when he was going to use it in the same sequence of time, or if people were present within it, something she had observed during their time together.

"Un… I was just wondering… should I be there when you meet them? I feel that if I am there they would not reveal their true feelings since they do not want to hurt my feelings… and they may change the way they respond so that it accommodates with my perfect ending… but that only means things will be more difficult for you…." Yun Long muttered as he rubbed his temples.

"It is fine, I am not a little doll that needs to be coddled, I have been through much worse than being confronted in a conversation… go and spend time with Fu Xian and Yue Ying… they have been missing you… even if they will not ever say it" Yun Ying'er coldly replied to him, all but throwing him over to the two who were watching from a respectful distance, she proceeded to walk towards Vimana: Ark after she noticed him picking the two up as he ran towards their personal chambers.
