Chapter 245 - Epilogue -

"But when the calamity energy was about to reach my remaining daughter… I closed my eyes… and ended what remained of my beloved as I wiped her from existence… leaving my sobbing daughter and I in the nothingness… that was the day Xuanyuan had died…"

Yun Long did not respond for a minute, after recovering, he quietly asked, "Creator… your explanation was slightly vague… is it alright if you can show me what happened on that day like you did before?" Yun Long asked him, even though it was a painful moment, he needed to see with his own two eyes.

"Yes… that is because I really do not wish to relive that moment… even contemplating to just wipe my memory of Yao… but that would discredit her existence, she lives on in my mind… but since you wish to see it, I shall show you instead…" the Creator said as he proceeded to show just Yun Long the memory from that day.

A while passed as Yun Long re-emerged from the memory, he quietly muttered "It seems that the cause of this was that God of Existence…" Yun Long muttered as he attempted to connect the dots from the story the Creator showed him.

"Indeed… Ancestor Void left a warning to me, if he directly warned me it seems he would not be able to keep his remaining will in that gemstone, since that God of Existence would have surely wiped him out… either that or he had him swear a vow he could not break…" the Creator summarised as Yun Long just nodded.

"But even though I am to this day looking for that entity, so that I may finally gain revenge for Yao… I still am the person who holds the most blame… my Ancestor Void warned me… the God of Existence himself warned me… he clearly said stated, those not of the true calamity bloodline... could not possesses the Calamity Source..."

"There were potential factors that it had previously warned me about... that I could not shoulder the consequences… but I ignored their warnings… and I do not regret that… I only regret that I allowed Yao to be the one who was strung along in the games of this God of Existence…" the Creator said as he finally closed the chapter of the images behind him.

"I see… then do I have the True Void Bloodline? But how is that possible… my planet is the most basic mortal planet you could find… even though there was a lot of information regarding the unknown like magic and other mystical lore… there was never any evidence to support it…" Yun Long asked as he heard about the potential mutations.

"No… you do not possess the True Void Bloodline… however when I found you… you did possess the Devouring Dragon God Bloodline which is why I chose you as my successor…" the Creator revealed to the trio, shocking them.

"Eh? So, Aunty Yao is in fact my distant Ancestor?" Yun Long asked in confusion.

"No… you have no relatives in the Devouring Dragon Clan… like I mentioned before, the Omniverse was returned to the nothingness, until the rebirth of the Omniverse… the current Nirvana-Verse we currently reside in… as for how you possess that bloodline… even I have no idea how it appeared… out of all the Dragon God bloodlines… only three people in this Nirvana-Verse should possess them, but I can confirm you are not related to those individuals in any way…" the Creator said as he looked at Yun Long with curiosity.

"In fact… you do not possess the Devouring Dragon Body… your body simply held the dormant <Devouring> Element that resided within the Bloodline of the Devouring Dragon God Clan… that is how I was able to construct the Devouring constitution was from the fact that you have the Devouring Element presiding within you… although yours is extremely weak in comparison to the Devouring Dragon God… only bȧrėly passing to the Peak 7th Realm"

"Only the Peak 7th Realm? That is still great… after all it isn't like Devouring random Entities will benefit me in the long run… and you only consider those in the 8th Realm people of any significance…" Yun Long retorted as he felt the Creator was looking down on him.

"Do not misinterpret it boy… you have the weakest, pure, 100%, <Devouring> Element I have ever come to witness or hear of… so for it to be Peak Realm 7… that shows that there is simply more in that <Devouring> Element that even I can see…" the Creator explained to Yun Long who nodded, he didn't understand these concepts truly just yet so he made sure to keep a mental note of it in the future.

"The Void Source and Calamity Source derive from the God of Existence… but did you ever wonder why he divided his powers into two, and granted them to the Calamity Dragon God and Void Dragon God? Did you ever wonder why he isolated himself from the existence, waiting in that cave for eternity, as the successors of his power came and went, repeating the cycles forever? This is also why I believe he has that longing for entertainment…" the Creator asked as Yun Long listened intently.

"These were also the questions that I wanted to learn the answers to… but I never could learn of them… that was until the day my daughters powers started to go out of control and she decided to enter the Forbidden Land past the Nothingness, which you know now as the Primal Chaos…" the Creator explained.

"But she did not enter the Primal Chaos… she instead entered a Pocket Dimension within the Primal Chaos, completely separated from the nothingness, from the Primal Chaos, from the Omniverse… which was your home planet Earth…" the Creator said as Yun Long's eyes squinted ever so slightly.

"When I arrived their… my power was completely suppressed… I had returned to a weaker state than even my cultivator self… so I instead spent my time finding a way out from this pocket dimension whilst looking for my daughter" the Creator said as Yun Long perked up in interest.

"What I found on your planet… was too bizarre… let alone the presence of the God of Existence… there was an odd temple that was built to worship him, which I decided to explore… it was then I learned that the God of Existence actually originated from this planet…" the Creator said as Yun Long started to wonder if the God of Existence was the same 'God' of his planet.

"But in that temple I learnt of the story of the God of Existence… he was truly what you would call and Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent… but even he was bound to what the folklore mentions as the <Origin Concept>, with other texts calling it, the laws of the <Origin Source>" the Creator explained as Yun Long felt a familiarity with the words he was speaking.

"In the folklore of the God of Existence… when he became the apex existence… the God… he then found the Origin Source… finding something that even he did not understand had offended the God, and in his rage, he attempted to wipe the <Origin Source> from existence… but he had instead been bound by the <Origin Source>, to forever follow his duties that were now bound to him, to watch over existence since his existence had become too powerful" the Creator explained the story as Yun Long listened with an intrigued look on his face.

"That was when I understood that the actions of the God of Existence were all forced by the entity, I call the Origin God… but I do not believe it to be a sentient existence… more like a universal concept that supersedes everything…" the Creator explained with respect.

"So, when I traversed for centuries… hiding myself within the mortal world trying to find the Origin Source… I watched the world as it went through eras… until I found myself at the heart of the world… standing before the <Origin Source> I had spent an eternity to find…"

"What appeared before me what nothing, yet I could feel its intent… I could clearly understand that the Origin Source considered me unworthy… but it gave me a seed of its source… even though it didn't say anything… its intent was clearly for me to grant it to another… as for why?" the Creator paused, as if he was building suspense.

"I did not ask… I felt inferior before that source… so I kept that seed with me as I waited until I found the person to gift the source to" the Creator said with deep respect that even caught Yun Long off guard.

"Centuries passed… no signs of my daughter having been on this planet also had me worried… countless times I had the urge to consume the <Origin Seed>… but countless times I could not bring myself to let down the wishes of the <Origin Source>…

"So I never did… but one day the Origin Seed flew off on its own as it finally reacted for the first time in centuries…"

"Which is when it found you… piercing your soul, it transformed you… and it was at that point my powers returned… after that day… I watched over you for twenty one years in secret…" the Creator revealed, making Yun Long wonder if he was the odd feeling he felt during his childhood when he felt someone had been watching him.

"During that time I had managed to find my daughter and seal her once more in the Omniverse… and when the Origin Source started to show signs off activity… your soul simply left your body… flying off into the void… which is where you first met me child…" the Creator explained as Yun Long just gazed at the smiling face of the Creator that seemed like a father smiling gently at his son.

The person cutting onions beside Yun Long had to stop before he had to wipe the sand in his eyes…
