Chapter 255 - Gaia and Alaya (3)

"Well… we must start with our history if you wish to know the full story…"

Gaia started to illustrate the story, but she felt that the task would be… tedious… for a lack of a better term, so she instead sat on Yunlong's ŀȧps and she had Alaya narrate their past instead.

"Alaya, Big Sister is tired, you inform our cute little Yunlong about our past… it is also slightly embarrassing…" Gaia ordered Alaya before she placed her right palm on her right cheek, with an embarrassed look on her face as she thought about what Alaya was about to reveal to Yunlong.

"No! I must not be held back by my shame! It is my duty… and also it is the least I can do match the shame that you will feel when I see your memories… yes… even my part of the deal lacks in comparison to yours… um…" Gaia nodded wisely as she managed to self-hypnotise herself into going through with revealing their so called 'embarrassing' past.

During Gaia's external monologue, Alaya had prepared herself, pure white hieroglyphs started to emerge in her pupils like the base code of a computer, the hieroglyphs shone, Yunlong then found himself in Alaya's mindscape.

"As the Entity of Souls… I have complete control over the Soul Domain… should an existence ever find themselves within my mind, or allow me access to their mind, they will simply find themselves unable to break free from my control" Alaya stated as she noticed Yunlong's initial confusion.

"Not only that, my soul world in particular allows me total control, for example you may stay in here for millions of years… and yet only a microsecond would have passed outside in the physical world… doing so would strain my mental capacity, but it still does not negate my abilities to the point where I cannot use it casually" Alaya decided to explain her abilities first since Yunlong seemed intrigued about them.

"For example, once our conversation in here is finished, only 0.000001 seconds will have passed in the Nirvana-Verse" Alaya gave a brief explanation to her powers which caused Yunlong to understand just how overpowered the abilities of the Origin Source just were, if she had such powers as a Realm Eight… then what did the Creator possess at Realm Nine, let alone what the God of Existence and the Origin Source entity could do at the realm that exceeded even the Creator...

"But all powers have limits, what you can do with your time in here is limited, for individuals like me who focus on research and gathering information, it is extremely helpful, however the only powers that work in this world are my own… so do not expect to use this knowledge to abuse my ability in the future" Alaya bluntly stated as she gazed into Yunlong's eyes, which caused him to stop breathing for a second because she caught him dead on his tracks… he really was thinking of ways to use her ability to become overpowered!

"Now let us start with out existence, we are born from the 'World'… it would be more accurate to say that we are the embodiment of the 'World', Big Sister was brought into existence through the planet's will to survive, its wish to forever prosper, where as Alayashiki, I, was born from the collective unconscious will of mankind to avoid extinction, to forever ensure humanity roams the world" Alaya explained slowly, Yunlong understood this much as he had read this much on a wiki in his last life.

"However, unlike Big Sister Gaia, you could consider my initial existence to actually be a part of her, since humans were creatures that are of Earth, but once mankind had gone through the stages of evolution, it had reached the point where they became independent of nature, this deviation allowed me to no longer be united with Big Sister Gaia, and allow my will to separate from Big Sisters'… becoming my own entity, which is where we started to develop a conflict." Alaya explained their history, it was at this point that Gaia hid under Yunlong's shirt so he did not see her embarrassed face.

Yunlong just looked at Alaya with a blank look, his dead fish eyes were screaming 'Hurry up… I cannot put up with this torture any longer…'

Alaya could sense his reluctant acceptance of the situation, so she just ignored his pitiful face, carrying on as she stated "My primary reason for existence was so that I can allow for humans to exist forever, where as Big Sister Gaia's primary reason for existing is to protect all creatures on Earth… but with the humans becoming a larger threat due to their reckless destruction of the environment, of the planet, she created beings that would cull the threat of mankind" Alaya explained as Gaia was rolling around as Yunlong could feel her crying inside her ċhėst, he really wanted to know what was wrong with this little loli-milf!

"Gaia, stop… your tears are tickling me… come out already… nothing that has been said is even embarrassing…" Yunlong finally managed to convince her, and he then pulled out the little creature from within his shirt.

"Mou… it really is embarrassing!" Gaia refuted his claims, she felt her baby self was really bad for her image!

"The reason Big Sister feels 'embarrassed' is at that time, we were simply the Counter Force born from the World, which is why we bore no emotions, we simply react according to the actions occurring on Earth, to allow mankind to survive and for the creatures and environment to be protected" Alaya explained whilst Gaia just hid behind Yunlong instead of going in his shirt this time.

"When Big Sister Gaia had initially crated the Primate Murder, I responded by creating the Primate Protector, when she created True Ancestors, Nature Spirits, Phantasmal Species and all creatures born on Earth, I had established a method to create human spirits, who I would grant power to for their eternal loyalty and service, otherwise known as Heroic Spirits, and higher ranked would be the Counter Guardians" Alaya explained as Yunlong was starting to understand why Gaia was overreacting, but in his mind it was not such a bad thing.

"We watched over the world, through the birth of the Age of Gods, its prosperity, its deterioration, and then its ultimate fate of being separated and forced to the Reverse Side of the World, before its ultimate end, the period of the Age of Fairies that lasted for a few centuries… until we came to a true period of conflict, the rise of the Age of Man…" Alaya stated as Yunlong paid more attention to the images that were created in her soul world as she spoke about each topic.

"One day during the age of man, an event occurred that caused both myself and Big Sister Gaia to realise that should the current path continue, both of our reasons of existing would be pointless since every potential future we bore witness to showed the nothingness that consumed the planet, the creature and the humans" Alaya finally deviated from what he had learnt in the fictional wiki, instantly causing Yunlong's interest to suddenly pique.

"At the time we did not understand, but now we know that it was the divergence of the Calamity that managed to find itself within the Omniverse, classified in your mind as the 'Nasuverse', and similarly, it seems that the reason you were brought here was for that very reason" Alaya surmised as Yunlong's eyes flickered in an understanding light.

"Because I am the successor to the Void, you wish for me to eliminate the Calamity? But there is one thing I fail to understand, you are clearly powerful enough to eliminate a Calamity Spirit, even in the Eight Realm, so why have me undertake the task?" Yunlong asked her curiously.

"We simply cannot leave here, if we left here then the remnant Calamity Spirits would attempt to free their Calamity Goddess from her seal, in this new Nirvana-Verse, Entities are extremely uncommon, and most that have risen to the Eight Realm would go through the test of your Father-in-Law, with most dying since he deemed them unworthy of holding such a power…" Alaya explained as Yunlong sensed the flash of fear that passed within her usually emotionless eyes.

"The only ones he cannot control are the Calamity Spirits, they can easily bypass his tests and reach the Entity Realm... which is why they have become a problem in the current Nirvana-Verse" Alaya stated with a faint reluctance appearing in her eyes.

"We managed to arrive at the Root to find a way to save the Earth from its eventual demise, that was where we found the former Origin Entity of Order and Origin Entity of Knowledge, Sora, who is otherwise known as the Root, or the Akashic Records… " Alaya explained as Yunlong readied for the main course of their story.

"Sora had actually planned for us to come to the Root, since the threat we witnessed threatened the entire Nasu-Omniverse, something that also would affect her, she had given us the method to break free from our shackles that kept us at the Peak Seventh Realm, we were born as True Deities, that was also our limit" Alaya explained to Yunlong, he understood this because they were a universal concept, so it would be hard pressed for them to find a way to improve their strength.

"After that day… we were able to evolve from manifestations of wills, previously our entire mental processing focused solely on our duties, no emotions would be generated and were capable of being generated… but we were gifted the rebirth that allowed us to 'feel'… to become... 'whole'... it was fortunate that had occurred, which allowed us to notice the odd behaviour of the Root, just by allowing us to visit the Vortex of Radix was something that went against her very existence…" Alaya explained to Yunlong who awaited the climax.
