Chapter 64 - Vol. 3: Noah To Haru - 64

Noah

“Fuck!” Noah swore under his breath the moment he was in the en suite of his bedroom. “Fuck!” He raked his fingers through his hair.

He leaned his back against the door and inhaled deeply and slowly to calm himself.

When he had emerged from his room earlier this morning to head off to the gym, because he needed a damn good workout, he had seen Aiden’s bedroom door was open and thought the brother had gone out, as usual, to exercise. However, Noah couldn’t spot Aiden anywhere once he was at the gym. Thinking that perhaps the brother had gone out running along the streets instead, Noah switched his mind to his training for the next hour, enjoying it tremendously. He was sweating profusely and his body felt good. He was in a damn wonderful mood, too, when he thought about that promised kiss Haru was going to be giving him daily. He couldn’t wait for it, the feeling of Haru’s lips on his and that small tongue trembling delicately when he ravished it.

He was grinning like an idiot when he left the gym, having done enough exertion, and headed back up. Along the hallway in their apartment unit, he was just walking toward his room when he saw Aiden coming out, already showered and dressed in his powerful suit.

A grin on his face, Noah was about to ask the brother how his running went when Haru appeared in his line of sight.

The moment he saw the two together—holding hands—he knew. He fucking knew. The two had spent last night together, and they had been making love.

His good mood dissipated into thin air in an instant, replaced with this dark, demonic rage that filled him.

He stared intensely at Haru, who looked too fucking happy and radiant for his liking. How many times did they do it last night? And what type of erotic thing did Aiden make Haru do?

“Back from the gym?” Aiden asked.

Shifting his eyes to Aiden, Noah said as he ran his fingers through his hair, “Yeah.

“The place is great, right?”

Noah nodded and then shifted his intense gaze to Haru again. The boy was inching closer to Aiden, and it pissed Noah off even more. He felt like grabbing the boy into his arms, throwing him into his room, locking the door, stripping the boy naked and then...

Yeah, he wanted to fuck Haru. He wanted to wrap his hand around Haru’s cute penis. He wanted to plow his cock into Haru’s butthole and make him cry in pleasure.

Fuck, he needed to calm down.

He took in a deep breath and then said, “I’m going to shower.”

In his en suite, he stripped himself naked and then headed into the shower cubicle. He stayed there, letting the cold water run down on him while he worked on cooling his head.

Fifteen minutes later, his body clean and smelling fresh, he came out, dried himself, and then headed into the walk-in closet to get dressed. In a powerful suit, he strolled out the door.

In the open-plan living area, he saw Aiden, Haru, and Reo eating breakfast.

“Morning,” Reo said.

“Morning,” he replied as he took the seat opposite Haru. His gaze was, of course, intense on the boy.

He was just filling up his plate with bacon, scrambled eggs, and French toast when Aiden said, “I’m dropping Haru off at the university; want me to drop you off on the way, too?”

“Me?” Noah asked.

Haru widened his eyes, looking a little pale, which didn’t go unnoticed by Noah.

Aiden nodded.

Reo said, “Isn’t it about time you get a car, Noah? You’re working now.”

Noah said, “The train is fine, but...”

“What?” Isaac’s voice came from the door. He walked into the room as he asked, “Is Noah getting a car?” He pulled out a chair next to Haru and took a seat. “Awesome. Can I come and help pick?”

Mason appeared at the door next and then came in to take a seat next to Reo.

Isaac informed Mason, “Noah is going to buy a new car.”

“Really?” Mason asked. “Cool. What brand are you going for?”

Noah said, “I didn’t say I was going to buy a car.”

Isaac tsked. “Girls don’t dig guys who don’t drive.” He turned to Haru. “Right?”

Haru said, “Why are you asking me? I’m not a girl.”

Isaac said, “Yeah, but if you were a girl, would you date a guy who has a car or a guy who depends on public transport all the time?”

Haru said, “Lots of people depend on public transport to get around.” He tilted his head to one side. “But I’d go with a guy who has a car.” He chuckled. “You have your personal space.”

Isaac nodded. “Yep. Very important when you’re going out on a date. You don’t want to have to just meet your date at the site. You’d want to pick her up and go for long drives and stuff like that.”

Noah sighed. He wasn’t about to get into any discussion about dates this morning. He got up. “I need to get to work early.” Turning to Aiden, he said. “Thanks for the offer, but I’m taking the train.”

An hour later, he cursed himself for not taking Aiden’s offer because he was fucking late, according to his time. He wanted to be at least an hour early before work started, since he wanted to get some stuff done.

The train was jam-packed with commuters, which under normal circumstances, didn’t bother Noah. Today, however, was different. Today, he was itching for some personal space. But of course, one couldn’t get that in a public transport. Not like when one had his own car.

Noah sighed. Running behind on his schedule wasn’t a good start to his day; that was for sure. Actually, his day had already been fucked up way before that. It had started when he had seen Haru with Aiden earlier this morning.

He arrived at the office five minutes before work started, which pissed him off. After powering on his laptop, he got started with work and was consumed with it until around ten when Zack said, “You’re hard at work.”

Noah lifted his head. “Yeah.”

“Want some coffee?” the man asked.

Noah sighed. “Yeah, why not.” He needed a break, after all.

They both headed over to the coffee machine across the floor. A few moments later, Noah had a cup in his hand and was sipping the coffee gratefully. Out of the blue, he asked, “You drive to work, Zack?”

Zack nodded. “Yep.”

“What type of car do you have?”

Zack shifted his eyes to Noah. “You thinking of getting one?”

Noah nodded. “Easier to get around.”

“Yeah, definitely,” Zack said. “Although traffic is shit in New York.”

Noah chuckled. “Yeah.”

“I got a Ford,” Zack said. “Just the normal family type car, you know. Don’t need anything fancy when I have a three-year-old.” He chuckled.

Noah nodded.

“But you,” Zack said. “Now you need something with flash. Woman are just going to dig you. I mean with just your looks alone, they’d dig you, but with a nice car...” He nodded his head, a grin on his face. “Tell me when you got yourself one.”

“Yeah,” Noah said. “I’ll tell you when I got myself a car.”

Zack burst out laughing. “What about a girl?”

“Nope.”

“Stingy,” Zack said.

They returned to work a few minutes later, and by then it was time for the meeting. Picking up his smartphone and folder, he headed to the elevator. A few moments later, he was in a conference room with ten other staff members, along with the CEO Nicolas Princeton, working on the promotional campaign. During the meeting, it was mainly Nicolas and Noah who took the lead, and by the end of the session, all that needed to be discussed had been discussed and wrapped up.

Noah was just walking out the door when Nicolas called out to him.

“Care to join me for lunch?” the man asked.

Noah was surprised. Nicolas was asking him to join him for lunch. That was a fucking great opportunity.

“Sure,” he said.

In the underground parking lot, Noah whistled when he saw Nicolas’s sports car.

“Hop in,” Nicolas said, chuckling.

Noah eagerly slid into the front passenger seat.

A while later, the car cruising along the road, Noah said, “I was just thinking of getting myself a car.”

“Sounds good,” Nicolas said. “I can hook you up with a guy I know.”

Noah chuckled, pleased. “That’s great. But I’ll be honest; I can’t afford anything fancy. I just started working.”

“That’s no problem,” Nicolas said. “He can do a really good deal for you.”

“Great,” Noah said.

Connections, eh? He didn’t know having connections to powerful people could make one’s life sail so smoothly.

When they drove past a massive, luxurious-looking hotel building, Noah gazed at the sign. It said “Princeton Hotel” in big, bold letters.

“We’re having lunch here?” he asked.

“Mm-hmm.” When he saw Noah’s look, Nicolas laughed. “Don’t worry.. It’s on me.”
