Chapter 84 - Vol. 3: Noah To Haru - 84

Haru

After Aiden left the room, I turned on my side and resumed my sleep. I was dead tired, after all, and was damn glad I didn’t have any classes today. I just knew I wouldn’t be able to make it, that was for sure. Aiden had been a demon last night. I couldn’t believe he had gone all out and fucked me so many times.

I found myself smiling, though, when I thought about him and how much he wanted and loved me.

I sighed deeply in that content way and then shut my eyes, and soon, I fell asleep again. When I next woke up, it was to feel a pair of lips on mine and a hot tongue sneaking its way into my mouth. I fluttered my eyes open, wondering if Aiden had returned.

My gaze came to rest on a gorgeous face with a pair of gold-brown eyes, and I felt a gentle hand cupping the side of my face. Mason?

I gasped and was about to utter his name out loud when his tongue invaded my mouth and began to stroke mine.

“Ngh...” I groaned out.

Mason kissed me deep and passionate, the likes of which he had never done to me before. In fact, he had never kissed me on the lips before, let alone ones that involved tongue, too.

My head felt dazed as my body heated up while Mason’s tongue caressed mine, his breath hot on me. When he moved back, he said, “Good morning.” He even gave me a dashing smile.

Huh? What the heck?

“Mason?” I said, confused. “What? Why?”

“I thought I’d check up on you before leaving for classes,” he said.

Huh?

He chuckled, probably because I looked so lost and confused, which was exactly how I felt.

He said, “There’s some scrambled eggs and toast left on the table, so have that for breakfast. Aiden and Reo have already gone out for the day. Reo said he has some stuff to do so he won’t be back until evening.” He leaned down and then brushed his lips against mine again, and I responded by widening my eyes. “See you later then.” And he was gone, shutting the door behind him.

“Huh?” I expressed. “What the heck?”

I was still dazed and confused where Mason’s action was concerned when I went into the living room moments later. Aki rushed up to me, and I chuckled. “Just you and me, eh?”

I checked out the food Mason left for me on the table, and sure enough, there were scrambled eggs and toast. After making myself a cup of hot chocolate, I sat down to have my breakfast, Aki by my side near my feet, also having his.

In the shower, I thought about Mason and why he had kissed me the way he did, on the lips and with tongue. People didn’t do that unless they were dating. What the heck was Mason thinking?

I touched my lips, remembering the way he had gently brushed his flesh against mine. He was definitely a pro in kissing, just like Aiden and Noah.

After my shower, feeling fresh and clean, I went to my bedroom and started to study. It was eleven when my phone dinged, which drew my attention. I noted that it was from Sean, and I checked the text message. It said: Hey, Haru. Just wondering if you’re free sometime today. Monday is my day off, so I’m free and damn bored. Hope to get a reply soon. There was even a big smiling emoji.

Cute, I thought, and I quickly texted back: Hey, I’m free.

I waited a few seconds, then my phone rang, and as expected, it was from Sean. I picked up and said, “Hey.”

A merry chuckle came from the other side of the line. “Hey. So you’re free today? No classes?”

“Nope,” I said.

“Then how about lunch? I’ll cook something. You can come up to my apartment.”

I thought about the offer for a moment and then said, “No. I have a better idea. How about I treat you to lunch? I owe you one, after all. I also want to make it up to you for what happened with Aiden and Mason last time.”

I heard Sean chuckling again. “Sure. Then I’ll pick a place.”

“Fine by me,” I said.

“Okay.”

Fifteen minutes later, Sean turned up at the front door dressed in a pair of jeans and a sweater, his dark hair neatly combed back. “Hello, I’m here to pick you up.”

Of course, he didn’t have to since we could just meet up at the foyer on the first floor, but he had been persistent.

I chuckled. “There’s no need, you know.”

He poked his head in through the door and scanned around. “Just curious about your apartment, that’s all.”

“You want to check it out for a bit?”

He chuckled. “Can I?”

“Sure,” I said, ushering him in.

The moment Sean walked into the living room, Aki came rushing over to the man, barking excitedly, his tail wagging.

“Hey there, Aki,” Sean said, bending down to pet the pup. Aki licked Sean’s hand, pleased. When he straightened again, he said, “Your place is nice. It’s bigger than mine.”

“Yeah,” I said. “That’s because there’s six of us.”

“The view is quite nice, too,” he said.

I nodded.

After I somehow managed to make Aki stay put, Sean and I finally left the apartment and headed to the elevator. In Sean’s sports car, I said, as he drove out of the parking lot, “I hate it when I have to leave Aki home alone.”

“You’ll get used to it,” Sean said. “And Aki will, too.”

I relaxed back and just kind of stared out, watching the scenery pass me by as Sean drove the car along the busy streets of New York.

“By the way,” I asked. “Where are we going for lunch?”

“A nice place,” he said.

I chuckled. “Nothing too fancy please, since I’m treating you.”

He chuckled, too, but didn’t say anything.

When Sean parked the car and we got out, he led me toward a fancy hotel, and I said, “Remember I told you nothing too fancy? I’m a student here.”

A smile on his lips, he said, “This place isn’t that expensive. Besides, if you can’t afford to pay for the meal, I’ll pay.”

I narrowed my eyes at him. “You’re cunning, and frankly, I have no idea what you’re trying to do here, but I’m treating you to a meal, so there.”

We went into the Weston Hotel and took the elevator up to the twentieth floor where The BlueSky Restaurant was located. A maître d' ushered us to a table by the window where it had a great view of the city.

“It’s nice here,” I said, looking around.

“Yeah.” Sean agreed.. “It’s nice here.”
