I headed towards my classroom. Although I wouldn't be there teaching, there was nothing else for me to do. With the Dean's order to stay at school until it ended, I can't go home at the moment.
"Is something wrong?" August, as I found out his name was, asked me in worry in seeing my frowning face. His worry, however, only deepened the frown on my face.
His eyes shimmered in genuine worry and I wasn't used to such genuine feelings being directed towards me, especially from a supernatural being.
"I suppose," I responded, the feeling of uncomfortability disappearing like smoke. However, I tried to grasp on to it for it was the closest to what seemed to be emotion.
I sighed at my failed attempt, feeling the familiar emptiness surround me. I left the classroom, I'll have to tell the Dean that I won't available for a few days.
