Li Shen coughed alerting the two people.
"Grandpa." Li Shen called out when he didn't hear any response from the other side.
Grandpa? Anna's eyes widened at the realization.
This is Li Mansion! Why the heck did Li Shen bought me here?
The room was big and was separated by a wooden divider so Anna couldn't see who's there behind that wooden divider. Slowly the two old men walked out of the wooden divider.
Anna's jaw dropped looking at the familiar figure.
"Master Qiao?!" Anna asked dumbfounded. She never expected him to see here.
"Brat, you finally came to see your Master. Good" Master Qiao spoke fully satisfied touching his beard.
"Due to old age, your head is muddled up with hallucinations. This is my house, of course my granddaughter came to visit me not you." Grandpa snickered annoyed by Master Qiao.
Anna pursed her lips.

Master Qiao turned his head to side annoyed that he couldn't retort for that.
"So what if it's your house, she's still here to visit me. Isn't it Han?" Master Qiao wasn't ready to give up.
"Uh... Where's the exit?" Anna acted dumb unable to reason with these two old people.
"Ungrateful brat, how can you ignore me?" Master Qiao yelled angrily. He looked like a old grumpy chicken.
"Hahaha, indeed she's my granddaughter." Grandpa Li laughed irritating Master Qiao even more.
"Master Qiao, I didn't know you were in Li Mansion. I wanted to meet you to discuss something, let's go to my place, it's more comfortable there." Anna turned towards the door completely ignoring Grandpa Li.
Granddaughter, my ass! Where was this so called grandpa when Yu Han needed?
As far as Anna can remember there's only one or two memories of Grandpa Li and that too wasn't pleasant one.
Grandpa Li's face turned gloomy. Master Qiao coughed awkwardly. He knew the situation better than anyone.
"I think it's time for my afternoon meditation. Han, why don't you wait till I finish it?" Master Qiao asked indirectly Anna to stay.
'This old coffin's ego is bigger than my herbal yard. He wouldn't make up her with his attitude, I better help him.' Master Qiao thought.
"Well than let me know once you're done here, I'll pick you up. I'll take my leave now." Anna sighed and turned to leave not even glancing at Li Shen.
Li Shen knew Anna was angry. Of course she has the rights to be angry but she didn't know the truth.
"Sis..." Li Shen spoke slowly blocking her way.
"Move." Anna's cold voice immediately shut him off sending shiver down his spine.
"Stop right there." An authoritative voice spoke stopping Anna. Grandpa Li's voice held some sort of pressure which was hard to resist.
"I'll take my leave then. Han, you better hear him out first." Master Qiao spoke seriously and left the room.
There was a long silence, it was awkward and tensed the atmosphere was so thick you could cut it with a knife. Grandpa Li heaved a tired sigh walking closer to Anna.
"I know you must be angry with me. I completely understand. I ignored my daughter and abandoned you in that hell." Grandpa Li spoke in a pained voice.
"Good that you know it." Anna commented.
"And I regreted it many times." Grandpa Li sighed.
"I loved your mother more than anything. She was my little princess and apple of my eyes. I spoiled her too much, I would do anything for her. But I couldn't accept it when she fell in love with that bastard, Yu Kong. He or any of that Yu family don't deserve my daughter. Because of that f**kers, I lost my wife. If only I had resisted little more or didn't feed my ego my daughter would have been alive today. If only I would have been more stern on my decision and didn't listen to Yu Daquan, you wouldn't have gone through that hell." Grandpa Li broke down into tears. All the pain he was hiding burst out once thinking about his daughter.
Loosing his love was already an unbearable pain and he also lost his symbol of love, his daughter. Although he looked strong outside he was a wreck inside. He was able to live till today is only because of his son and his family.
Anna immediately held Grandpa Li, she didn't know why she felt a tug in her heart seeing him like this.
"Indirectly I was the reason for her death." Grandpa Li sobbed imagining the day he held his daughter's body in his arms.
"Don't blame yourself for her death. It's all fate. She might not be physically with us, but she's still alive in our memories." Anna tried to console him.
Grandpa Li nodded returning to his composure.
"Can you tell me what me happened exactly?" Anna asked curiously. She has so many questions but there's no one to answer. Hopefully Grandpa Li might clear all her doubts.
