Huffing in annoyance Anna moved away from Ji Yang but Ji Yang covered the gap moving closer to her. Their little game continued until Anna hit the dead end.
Giving a long sigh Anna finally gave up and sat back comfortably more like sulking.
Ji Yang smirked in triumph.
Both finished their fruit tea in silence but it was not awkward rather it was peaceful and comfortable well at least for Ji Yang.
"I'm hungry." Anna pouted slightly massaging her belly.
"Hi hungry I'm Ji Yang your husband." Ji Yang joked.
Anna:"..."
Anna gave a weird look.
"It wasn't that bad." Ji Yang looked away embarrassed.
Clearing his throat Ji Yang diverted the topic trying to hide his embarrassment.
"What will you cook?" He was eager to taste the food made by his wife.
"Uh... me?...Ah..uhm..I'm tired..why don't we order from outside?"Anna said with a nervous smile.
She is a terrible cook. Anna remembered once she tried to help her mom with cooking riceafter washing the rice she didn't add water and ended up bursting the pressure cooker, the entire kitchen was full of burnt rice grains.
But Yu Han is a good cook, it was mandatory for all the girls in Yu family to learn cooking at a very young age so Yu Han was pretty good at it.
Anna can imitate Yu Han and cook something delicious but she doesn't trust herself when it comes to cooking.
From her nervous smile and fidgeting fingers Ji Yang understood easily.
"You don't know to cook?" Ji Yang raised his eyebrows. He was bit disappointed.
"You can put it in other words I'm not well versed in culinary skills." Anna defended herself.
Sighing at her smart tongue Ji Yang got up from the sofa and walked towards kitchen. Anna followed him in curiosity.
"Are you going to cook?" Anna asked in surprise as Ji Yang rolled up shirt sleeves and took out the apron from the cupboard.
"Unlike someone I'm blessed with culinary skills." Ji Yang mocked using her own words.
Anna stuck out her tongue irritatedly. Ji Yang smiled at her action and shook his head.
'She acts like a five year old kid.'
He passed the apron to her. Anna blinked her eyes in confusion.
"Help me tie it."
Not thinking much Anna went forward. Warping the apron around his hips she faced his back and tied the knot.
Ji Yang took out all the ingredients required to make their dinner and began cooking. His muscles moved smoothly as he was chopping the vegetables.
'Wow the sight looks beautiful.' Anna couldn't help but admire him.
"Do you need any help?" Anna asked out of formalities she didn't really mean it.
Ji Yang handed the cheese and grater to her.
"Grate the cheese." He commanded and turned to chop the vegetables.
'Couldn't you be quite.' Anna scolded herself and started to grate the cheese.
She tried hard at first but soon grated it well.
With Ji Yang's instructions Anna helped in cooking. Both moved in synchronization as if they lived together for years.
"Stir well until it thickens." He gave her a spatula to stir the chicken soup.
Following his orders Anna stirred the soup.
"It's getting thick what I should do next?" Anna asked excitedly.
She looked cute. Ji Yang smiled affectionately at her.
"Taste it." He replied. She did as he said.
"Hmm..it tastes good, try it." Anna held out a spoonful of soup for him as Ji Yang was washing the rice.
Ji Yang's heart warmed up at her action. He smiled playfully bending down he kissed her on the lips leaving Anna in daze.
"Hmm..It's yummy" He licked his lips.
Anna opened and closed her mouth like goldfish.
"Why did you do that?" She glared at him.
"I was tasting the soup.. it's delicious." Ji Yang replied innocently but a small playful smile never left his lips.
Anna:"..."
"I want to taste it again." Before Anna could reply he bent down and kissed her again licking her lips.
Anna was stunned again.
