Before Chisa's mother divorced her biological father, her life was hell.
Her father was an alcoholic jerk. She didn't have any good memories of him. He was the first man who taught her pain.
"Where's your mother?" Her father would ask her after coming home drunk. It would make her nauseous to stand next to him. He would lean closer, knowing that she hated it. "Where is that wench?"
"I don't know." Chisa would close her eyes to get ready for the pain. Her father would beat her when he couldn't find her mother. He was the one who taught her how to give pain.
Her mother wasn't any better. She used to have affairs with men. She was nothing less than a p.r.o.s.t.i.t.u.t.e. For the money, she would do anything. Chisa had no idea how her mother married her father. Judging how they fought a lot, he might have scammed her mother into marrying him too.
She was raised in a broken family by disgusting people. She hated her shoes and dirty clothes. She hated how everyone looked down at her. She wanted to change. She wanted everyone to see her like a princess.
Then, her father got caught for committing a murder. Chisa would later found out that he killed someone just for a few dollars to buy alcohol.
At the age of 8, her mother divorced her father and moved to the other city where Chisa thought that she could find a new beginning. Her mother started working as a hostess in a club. She would bring men to her home all the time. Her mother would give her money and send her away whenever she brought men. Her mother's earnings weren't bad. Chisa decided to keep appearances like she was from a high-class family. Her classmates believed it except for one girl. For some reasons, She felt like Rie could always see through the facade. She disliked Rie the most because she had everything that she didn't have - a loving mother who would make her delicious lunches and a father who would drop her at school every day. She hated that smile of her the most. She hated how Rie was liked by her classmates. Everything about Rie would annoy her to death.
Her father was disgusting. Her mother was even more disgusting. There were times when her mother's men would touch her. Her mother would care. She would turn a blind eye. Chisa avoided coming home whenever they were there. If she was home, she would lock herself in the room until they were gone.
Recalling her past, Chisa grabs her hair in fury. This shouldn't be happening. How did Rie know it? How long has she known it? There's a crazed look in her eyes. "Rie, you think that you can bring me down with this?"
Morikawa purses his lips. He has never seen her lose her calm before.
"Morikawa, call the press conference." She raises her head and glances at him with a wicked smile on her red lips. "She told the whole world. So, be it. I will show her how I am still a queen."
