Alex nodded and followed Imani back to the surveillance room. Imani told Alex to take a seat and played back the footage of the entire thing. Alex looked at Imani with a weird gaze and spoke, "I… Where were these cameras? I didn't see them anywhere while I was doing the mission but these were spots where I glanced over many times while doing the mission." Alex was confused by the placements of the cameras.

A smile formed on Imani's face when she heard Alex's words. She looked at Alex and spoke, "Well, The camera placements could have hinted at many things so they are kept hidden. Unlike the cameras we have in the arena, These were small and could be kept anywhere. That's why you didn't see them." She answered his question.

"Hmm" Alex understood where the cameras were. He looked at the footage provided by Imani and smiled, "I didn't know that I had this much in me… I'm surprised by what I did."

Imani laughed out loud when she heard Alex, she walked to Alex and pushed down on his nose. Alex backed away, "Why did you do that?" He was very much confused by Imani's actions. Imani looked at Alex and shrugged, "I just thought that your nose was starting to getting a bit pointy so I had to prevent that… Don't be so smug by what you did. It was impressive but never let that confidence get the better of you." She said as she knocked Alex's head.

Alex furrowed his eyebrows and nodded, "I don't know what having a pointy nose means but I guess that makes sense. What you said after at least did." Imani looked at Alex and rolled her eyes, "you're so much like us that I forgot that you were from another world. It might be alternate worlds but somethings are indeed different. The nose thing is just a metaphor for people who get smug. The smugger they are, the pointier their nose. But me saying this just makes the impact of everything I did before… Well, less impactful. Like a joke that you have to explain, won't be funny, right?" She sighed and walked back to the monitor.

Alex laughed awkwardly and scratched his head, 'Maybe I should have just kept my mouth shut. It seems like she was enjoying that but now looks kind of disappointed.' Imani took a deep breath and started to slowly play certain points of the video footage of Alex's training. She started to explain Alex's possible choices and things he did right as well as things he did wrong.

Imani then proceeded to explain more points on infiltration and attacking people silently. After over an hour and a half of going over the entire missions in thorough detail, Imani took a deep breath, "You did well… I wasn't expecting high level actions from you because of your lack of experience but that last thing that you did there was good, It distracted the enemy, you made sure that the hostage was in a safe place, and then took down the remaining enemies. I already went over the things that could have been better so all we can do is help you improve in that. Combat as a whole is more of a mind game than physical ability. A weak man who convinces his enemy that he is stronger will have the mental advantage and thus has a higher chance of winning the battle. As long as you think properly and calmly, you will win your battles. No matter how difficult or impossible they seem."

Imani then walked to the door and opened it, "That's the end of our training today. We did a lot today so I hope you learned a lot. Tomorrow, I have no idea what we'll be doing. But it'll either be similar to what we did today or you and I will have mock battles as I initially said when we started the training. Good luck Alex, go home and rest up. I'll need to stay here for more work." She smiled.

Alex stood up and smiled at Imani, "Thank you… It must be a bit annoying teaching others but you're an amazing teacher. I learned a lot so I'm grateful. I'll be off now, take care!" Alex walked out of the room and headed to the train.

He saw Midnight waiting for him by the station. "Alex, or should I say, Mr. Hero… are you done with today's training?" She smiled. Alex nodded in answer.

Alex then looked at Midnight and asked in an awkward tone "Why call me by that name though?"

Midnight smiled when she heard Alex's response. She turned to the train "Well, You did play the role of a hero today, Saving a damsel in distress from the wretched fools who decided to take her away from you. You heroically took them down and saved Princess Imani, didn't you?" Midnight quickly turned to Alex and spoke impersonating a narrator for a story.

Alex was speechless by Midnight's act, he didn't expect her to do that. Midnight went out of that character and laughed when she saw Alex's reaction. She walked in the train and shrugged, "I'm right."

Alex took a deep breath and walked him. He didn't know what to say so he kept quiet. The two headed to the hotel and back to their own rooms.

————————

In a dark and empty looking room, a man in white stood. He took a deep breath and slowly walked down the room, looking around. "This is the police! Everyone inside must oblige! Please walk out with your hands above your head!" The man said in a deep voice. He had one hand on his gun while the other on a flashlight, looking around the room.

"I can see my own breath… It's hot outside but it feels like I'm inside of a freezer." The police officer mumbled as he continued walking down the room. He reached a large metal door that was nearly twice his own height. The man put his hand on the walky-talky and spoke, "I haven't found the cause of the disturbance yet but There appears to be a huge door inside the house. I'm heading in further to look into the rooms but I'm requesting for backup." The man spoke.

He waited for a reply but there was none. The police officer took a deep breath and spoke, "This might be a stupid decision but those asses will laugh at me if I just come back without properly checking out the place. You're a dumbass Greg." The man said to himself before opening the door.

The cold feeling increased as the officer opened the door. "It's coming from inside." He said as he walked inside the room at a snail's pace. His grip on his gun tightened and the man was on full alert.

Due to the dark, the man could only see the places illuminated by his flashlight. As he continued down the room, the officer noticed a small tube. He walked closer to it to have a better look. "What the absolute fuck?!" The man exclaimed as he turned his flashlight around the room. There were more tubes all over the room, arranged in rows. His flashlight turned back to the room to show that a body was inside of the tube, completely submerged in some form of liquid. It had pipes going all over its body but it didn't seem alive at all. The body was pale and showed no movement.

Horrified by what he saw, the officer ran outside of the room but he noticed that the huge door was no show. A harrowing laugh entered his ears. The officer slowly turned around, his flashlight illuminating a huge 7-foot tall man. His face filled with scars and a creepy smile on his face. "You were right officer, you are a dumbass. Entering a suspicious place because a few people would tease you if you didn't. At least it looks like the signal jammer works so they don't know that you were here. Guess it's time to say goodbye!"

The man's deep voice made the officer shiver. In his effort to get away, the officer started to shoot his gun at the man but the bullets seemed to have no effects. The tall man walked to the officer and punched him in the face. His punch was powerful enough to detach the head of the officer from his body and kill the officer instantly.

"That's enough beast… You're still fresh to that so I advise you not to use your powers any further. Get back to your tube. I'll take you out once your body has absorbed everything properly. I can't have my greatest creation just die out on me because he used too much power, can I?" A voice came from the back of the room. The huge man looked at the back of the room and nodded, "By that time you better have created a better name than a beast. I don't like that." He said as he walked back to a huge tube and entered it.
