Alex nodded, "that is true, It's super difficult to even notice anything once I button my suit on… This puts me to question, is this coat special as well? I was in this and under a huge robe while in that dungeon so there must be some significance to it, right?" He asked as he slowly walked down the desert. Alex didn't know where he was walking but Hades was giving him signals to walk a certain direction so he followed.
"That's correct! This suit has some neat features, it doesn't tear or rip easily so it's very resistant to cuts and strikes. It can take a lot of damage and it has a very clean look. Making you look like a woman killer! Kid, you're going to be flowing in women soon!" Hades laughed as he explained enthusiastically.
Alex shook his head and was about to make a comment but he was interrupted by Hades, "That robe, however, It's very precious… You didn't notice it because you didn't look at it properly, but it has a logo printed on it. Think of it as our insignia. The reason behind that, I will tell once you are ready but until then, I recommend not wearing it unless it's life and death. And I mean LIFE AND DEATH. I won't allow you to wear it anyways but for some reason, If I am detached from you and you get the opportunity to wear it, don't do it. Don't even take it out. It was safe in your dungeon room but here, in the world ruled by Larx, you cannot show it… Give me your word on that." Hades seemed to be quite serious when he talked about the robe.
Alex nodded and spoke, "I'll follow your advice, my dear adviser… So for now, can you tell me where we are going? I can feel that you want me to walk this way but all I see is nothing but the sand and the sky." Alex looked into the vast desert and sighed.
Hades sighed and replied, "Kid, trust the process. Just follow the wind… I'm not some all seeing eye who knows everything, right now, I just have a hunch that this will be the quickest way to a city. The winds are heading this way and I think you'll find water if you continue on. In a desert environment, you'll find people only around the waters. Plus, I swear I saw something weird along this way that's the reason." Alex nodded as he listened to Hades.
After some time walking, Alex heard, "Kid, duck!" Instinctively, Alex jumped to the soft sad and looked around, He saw a small bullet pass where he was standing. "What the fuck? Was that a bullet?" Alex exclaimed in shock.
Hades loudly exclaimed, "Kid, we got a fight here. I don't think these are the people who helped you at first, we might be a bit far from where you were before… It seems like my lack of power pulled us away from where we were supposed to teleport. Now, We don't seem to have any other choice but to fight back and escape from here."
Alex took a deep breath, He couldn't believe what Hades said but seeing the situation, It seemed like he had no choice. Slightly irritated now, and in shock, Alex's eyes had a small glow in them. He felt more powerful, An effect he found similar to Might but somethings also felt different. However, whatever he was feeling, Alex didn't mind at all, He only had fighting back as the top option right now.
Alex jumped on his feet as he grabbed the two guns. A small smile on his face as Alex jumped towards the shooter. As he ran, Alex saw a small dome like building that stuck out a tiny bit over the desert surface. It seemed to be an underground area and the ones who shot Alex were guards.
Alex pointed his guns towards the guards and fired. *BANG BANG BANG*
"Heh! Three shots and one dead… Not that impressive but your first time doing something like this, It's pretty impressive. I was right about this choice after all… This time, however, You won't miss it. As your adviser, I can manipulate you slightly to help in combat!" Hades sounded excited. Alex smiled and nodded as he shot towards the other guards hiding within the sands.
One after another, Alex shot every single guard that was visible.
"We need backup, We have an awakened here!" One of the guards screamed into the radio as he lied in a pool of blood. Alex, who was close to the doors of the underground warehouse looked at the doors as two people walked out with black latex suits on. 'One short male and a tall female, both awakened.' Hades's voice echoed in Alex's mind.
Alex nodded as he looked at the two. The smile on his face continued as his eyes glowed even brighter than before.
'I recommend close quarter combat.' Hades calmly advised.
Alex nodded once again as he pushed the button at the sides of the gun to reveal hidden blades. The two awakeneds looked at Alex with slight confusion, "Who are you?!" The woman asked in a deep voice.
Alex smiled and answered, "A lost person… If you attack me, I'll attack back. That is how I will deal with this situation." His voice was filled with murderous intent.
Alex's guns glowed. Inside, Hades seemed to be laughing, "I guess a few months under my room therapy and he is changed. This Alex is no longer the peace seeker, at least I've made him understand that Killing is the best option for situations like this… If it were the old Alex, he wouldn't have dodged and asked to talk to the leaders. Only to be wound up shot…"
The two awakened looked at Alex with furrowed eyebrows. One of them took out a radio and seemed to get new orders. They looked at each other and nodded, "The head wants to talk to you, please follow us." The woman spoke in the same deep voice.
