29 Three Powerful Figures

Joe was currently fighting with a blue haired boy named Furwin who had an axe on his back, green clothes and alot of gold accessories. Furwin was of a very rich background and was extremely arrogant and believed the world owed him everything, after walking into Joe and telling him to apologise for not looking where he was going, Joe refused and after a couple of back and forths, Furwin attacked Joe first and now Joe was defending, making sure not to fight back so that all the responsibility could be put on Furwin when someone powerful arrived, a fight like this would be impossible to ignore in this kind of atmosphere. Furwin constantly attacked him with lightning strikes that seemingly came out of nowhere.

"Who is he?"

"That lightning is just appearing, he doesn't need to use spells?"

"How strong is he?"

"I feel bad for the other guy, all he can do is run away"

Joe was extremely calm, he didn't show any fear as he dodged the lightning strikes.

J: "He's not an aura user..."

Joe kept jumping back and leaped high into the air, Furwin kept throwing lightning strikes at him relentlessly.

J: "Even for a mage he's skilled, but I wonder if that's natural talent..."

Joe easily dodged in midair then landed on the ground only to be bombarded with more lightning strikes, smoke filled the area where the lightning struck. The crowd watching this fight went silent, after this short silence people began whispering to eachother.

"Is he dead?"

"Has to be"

"Did you see the amount of lightning he was hit with?"

"I don't think anyone at our level could survive that"

"Should have just apologised"

"Wait..."

"Look!"

"What?!"

The smoke cleared and the one who was bombarded with lightning wasn't Joe, it was Furwin!

"How did he get there?!"

Furwin was in extremely bad shape. He looked behind him at Joe who yawned as he put both hands in his pockets.

J: "That all you got?"

(T)F: "How?! I was there a second ago, how did I get here?!"

Indy was watching this fight.

I: "Man, so it is what I expected... but..."

Furwin took his axe, which, whilst huge, seemed to weigh nothing when he held it, the tip of the axe began to explode with electricity that seemed to condense into a single point at the top of the axe.

F: "You think you're so cool just cause you can use aura?! I'll show you!"

Joe knew that whilst he was indeed stronger than most people here, he couldn't take this hit. He was strong but he wasn't invincible. Joe took a defensive stance as he waited for Furwin to attack.

[Sora's Fight]

Sora was fighting with a white haired boy named Lux, he had light blue eyes and light blue clothes. Lux had a neutral aura but was protective of his dog, Rin had gotten into a fight with Lux's dog and scratched it, this angered Lux, leading to him attacking Rin's owner, this took Sora by surprise as he wasn't paying attention to Rin, he only was suddenly met with an attack out of nowhere and he had to defend himself. Which was extremely difficult right now as Lux controlled ice, he sped through the floor, seeming creating ice to skate on as he moved forward, he was extremely fast. Sora had created a thin, translucent layer of darkness and applied it to his body for extra defense, but this could only defend him from so much.

S: "Hey man! I already said sorry!"

L: "Sorry won't cut it!"

S: "You can heal that cut so easily man!!!"

L: "I don't care!"

Sora had been trying to defuse the situation for this entire fight, and whilst it started out as Lux attacking him for his dog, the fact that Sora didn't even try to fight back was insulting to him, so now he was just trying to get him to fight back using the excuse of his dog, he had already calmed down and knew it wasn't a big deal a while ago, but now he just wanted to fight, using the prior situation as an excuse. Rin and his dog fought in the background. Lux jumped in for a punch with aura applied, as Sora blocked using condensed darkness, the impact from the collision blew both back away from eachother.

L: "I'm getting tired of this, if you aren't gonna fight back, I'll just beat you now..."

S: "What?! I thought this was about your dog!!!"

Lux ignored him as he encased his fist in ice as well as all of his aura, his fist seemed to glow bright blue.

(T)S: "That's alot of compressed ice magic, and he's probably using most of his aura too... Screw it..."

Sora began preparing the same attack he used against Del and Rez in the arena.

S: "I really hope this doesn't kill either of us..."

Whilst Sora and Lux charged their attacks, the fight between Rin and the dog was getting extremely out of hand. Fire and ice filled their battlefield as Rin constantly sped around the dog, as the dog constantly tried to hit Rin, the fire spread everywhere, Rin kept running around and going in for an attack every now and again, she definitely had a clear advantage. The dog was currently in a state of panic, Rin had attacked it first, but it responded in a much more violent way, it was confident at first but now knew that Rin was too fast for it to keep up with, it also didn't expect Rin to use ice magic. Rin knew she only needed one more hit to take him down - as she jumped towards him from behind a block of ice. The dog's fur seemed to blaze into ardent flames, this was it's one attack it needed to land against rin, whilst ice was strong against fire, the opposite was also true. Rin knew the situation she was in now, she had been too confident, but at this point she had to leave it up to fate to decide who would win this fight.

All three fights seemed to be at their endgames and the crowds all watched with eager eyes.

Furwin jumped towards Joe and the axe came down with a trail of lightning behind it, it seemed to carry the weight of the world with it. Joe stared at it, as calm as ever.

Sora's blade grew to the same size it had been in the arena but had to do a downwards slice to avoid hitting the crowd at his side, Lux sped forward from where he was, leaving some ice where he was standing, speeding forward to meet Sora's slice, the size of the sword didn't matter to him.

Rin was directly above the dog, she seemed to be a buzzsaw of ice with a large amount of icicles floating behind her, ready to shoot towards the dog at full speed. The dog's fire had spread across the ground and it seemed like a flower of flame, closing in on Rin.

As all of these attacks rained down on eachother. Three explosions occured, creating winds that hit the crowd extremely hard, some people fell over, while the more powerful still had to hold their balance, people like Del, Rez and Indy stood calmly as they waited for the smoke to clear. As the smoke cleared they looked to see the results of the fight...

Se: "Jeez..."

N: "You really need to stop..."

Io: "Cute!!!"

Three figures had stepped between all of them and had stopped all of their attacks. One was Seth, who had caught Sora's blade with one hand and was holding Lux's fist in the other, he was completely unscathed. The other was Natu, who had stopped Furwin in midair, he was floating in midair and seemed to be sitting down, relaxing, holding off Furwin's extreme attack with one hand. Iona had stopped the other two and were holding both of them in her hands, rubbing her cheeks against them, her natural charisma seemed to tame the two of them straight away as both had completely forgotten about the other and had been enjoying being pet.

I: "What?!"

D: "Who are they?!"

R: "Did they..."

"Both of those attacks... he's holding them in one hand each..."

"That guy too! He's holding that axe in one hand!!!"

"That girl looks way too young to be here..."

"Dude... she stopped both of those animals attacks... I think you're paying attention to the wrong thing here..."

"Who are those three?"

"We have no chance... we should leave..."

The crowd began to speak among themselves again, they completely forgot about the one's actually fighting, but the one's who were shocked the most were undoubtedly them.

[Sora, Lux and Seth]

So: "Wha..."

Lux looked up at the tall, red haired figure that was currently holding his fist in his hand.

L: "This is..."

Seth sighed.

Se: "What're you guys doing man... the test starts soon, don't make any more trouble for the people here..."

Seth put some strength into his grips and the energy of the sword that Sora was using immediately cracked then shattered, the ice surrounding Lux's fist also shattered. Lux immediately retreated far away and Sora just stood there, dumbfounded.

Se: "Don't get into another fight now..."

Sora and Lux were completely in shock right now, their most powerful attacks, stopped by one hand. The questions they had in their heads were numerous.

"How strong is he?!"

"Is there others like him?!"

"Why am I even here if people like him are?!"

Sora shook his head and dismissed these thoughts. He couldn't think like that here.

So: "Um... thanks for stopping the fight, I didn't know how it started..."

Sora scratched his head and walked up to Seth, laughing. Inside he was terrified that this sudden red haired figure would dislike him for any reason at all, he didn't want someone like this as an enemy, as he waited for his response Sora held his breath.

Se: "Ah it's fine, name's Seth, what's yours"

Seth extended his hand out.

(T)So: "He's good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wait, Seth? Isn't that the name of one of the Legends? Nah, he's powerful but he isn't THAT powerful"

Sora let out a huge sigh of relief as he shook Seth's hand.

So: "Sora"

Se: "Sora huh, well, seeya around if you pass I guess..."

Seth began to walk towards Lux, he shook his hand too then walked away, the crowd split up where he walked, allowing him to get out easily. Sora and Lux just looked at eachother, both still confused, but more relieved now. This was a massive eye opener for both of them. They walked towards eachother.

S: "Sorry bout your dog, I'll take care of Rin"

L: "Nah, it's on me, I'm pretty protective of him"

S: "Yeah... I understand. Friends?"

Sora held his hand out. Lux chuckled and shook hands with Sora.

L: "Sure"

[Joe, Furwin and Natu]

Joe looked up at the carefree-looking boy who held an extremely dangerous axe in one hand without seeming to care.

J: "You stopped it with one hand..."

Natu looked down at him.

N: "Hm? Oh, yeah. Just tryna calm this place down a bit"

J: "You still stopped it with one hand..."

N: "Well, it's not really that hard for me"

Furwin was furious, he was being ignored.

F: "Hey!!! I'm still here"

Furwin jumped from his axe and coated his fist in lightning, charging towards Natu, as the blow was about to hit his head...

J: "Hey!! Bro!!!"

Natu moved his other hand behind his head and completely nullified the blow.

N: "Yeah this school's pretty nice though. Can't wait to join it..."

Natu kept talking to Joe casually.

J: "..."

Joe stood there, completely at a loss for words. Furwin jumped down and was now extremely angry.

F: "Who are you?! A teacher?! You must be!!! Only a teacher could have this much power!!! I've got connections with the higher ups in this school!!! I can get you kic-"

Natu turned around and landed on the floor, looking at Furwin.

N: "No, I'm a student, just like you"

Natu tossed the axe back at him, it landed on the floor in front of Furwin.

N: "Well, seeya. The test starts soon, so stop fighting"

As Natu walked past Joe he inspected Joe's aura, to try and see what kind of magic he used, the earlier events interested him aswell. Through his quick scan, he figured it out.

N: "So that's what it is..."

Natu walked away chuckling to himself. Just like they did for Seth, the crowd cleared a path for him. Furwin was completely beat, he had been humiliated by someone who wasn't even a teacher. Joe stood watching Natu as he walked away.

J: "So these are the type of people who are at the actual top of the chain..."

Joe sighed.

J: "I got alot to do..."

Joe put his hands in his pocket once again and walked away, leaving Furwin in a dumbfounded state, staring at his axe on the ground.

[Rin, Lux's Dog, Iona]

Iona was currently playing with Rin and the dog, sitting on the ground and having fun with them, they seemed to become friends through Iona and were even playing with eachother now. Sora and Lux came out of the crowd and saw what was going on, they were dumbfounded too.

S: "Um... Rin?"

L: "Garoda?"

Iona looked at the two people in front of her and immediately grew excited when she saw Sora. Rin and Garoda hesitantly ran to their owners, they were having alot of fun with Iona. Garoda ran to Lux's feet whilst Rin jumped up and landed on Sora's shoulder. Iona stood up and patted some dust off of her clothes and ran towards Sora and compared her size to his.

S: "Ummmm, hello?"

I: "Hi!"

Iona kept comparing her own size to his before pouting.

I: "You're taller than me..."

S: "I thought that was obvious..."

Sora could tell that this girl was definitely not normal, not just literally but in terms of power too, she was an aura user and the was probably roughly on the same level as Seth. They had all displayed their power here but it was significantly weaker than what their levels were actually at. Of course no one but them knew this.

L: "You made them stop fighting?"

Iona looked at Lux.

I: "Yeah! It was easy!"

(T)S+L: "Easy?"

Both owner knew the powers of their pets very well, for someone to call it easy to stop them only confirmed their suspicions of how powerful this person in front of them was.

S: "Um, so..."

I: "My name's Iona! What's yours?"

S: "Sora"

(T)S: "Iona's a Legend's name too... just like Seth... nope... wishful thinking, why would two Legends be here... plus neither are even close to the power of Legends. Then again... like I can talk..."

I: "And you?"

L: "Lux"

I: "Well!"

Iona took both their hands and shook them.

I: "Let's be friends!"

She let go then smiled at them. Sora and Lux looked at eachother before answering.

S: "Y-yeah..."

L: "Sure..."

Iona smiled widened as she skipped away, she really was like a child.

S: "What..."

L: "Lotta interesting people here..."

After talking for a while, Sora and Lux split up from eachother and found Del and Rez. After a short scolding from Del, Rez told him about the fight with Joe and how it was stopped by someone.

S: "All these fights got stopped by one person... I'm getting scared for the 2nd part of the test now..."

D: "It'll be fine..."

R: "I mean I'm scared..."

D: "Shut up!"

R: "What?!"

D: "Positive thoughts..."

S: "You're scared too..."

D: "No I'm not!"

R: "Yeah you are..."

As Sora and Rez teased Del Rez noticed that Indy had disappeared.

R: "Hey, Del"

Del looked up at Rez, hiding her embarrassment.

D: "Hm?"

R: "Where did Indy go?"

D: "Huh?"

Del looked around and found that Indy had indeed disappeared.

S: "Hm? Who's Ind-"

Before Sora could finish a giant explosion of fire appeared in midair, the energy spread through the entire crowd and completely surrounded them. The entire crowd looked up and many people were panicking, but those who stayed calm found that there was someone standing at the point where the explosion first appeared from.

?: "Welcome to the Starseeker School. Make sure to take it in, cause it might be the last time you see it"

S: "What?"

D: "The wall!"

R: "Careful guys!"

The mysterious figure waved his hand and the surrounding fire closed in on the crowd until the entire crowd had seemingly disappeared.

?: "Good luck to all attendees..."

[In A Wide, Green Field]

Sora was on the ground, as he opened his eyes he saw a bright blue sky, looking around he couldn't see much, the other attendants were also slowly getting up and some had already gotten up. The bright blue sky extended all the way to the horizon.

S: "What is this place?"

?: "Test One. Begin!!!"

Sora turned around.

S: "What?!"

Sora was then hit with an extremely fast wind, blowing him back a long distance before the wind regulated and he fell to the ground, when he looked up he saw a cloaked figure in the middle of an extremely wide space, with all of the attendants surrounding him for miles around. What was really shocking was that there were three people sitting near him already.

S: "Already?!"

These three were Seth, Natu and Iona who weren't even effected by the initial blast and just sat down together and talked, they were just having a friendly chat.

S: "Jeez... how strong are these people..."

Sora stood up, he found that Del and Rez weren't with him, they were probably split up.

S: "Well...

Let's do this then..."
