32 Three Hidden Figures

With over 400 candidates left and only 75 possible open places, most of the candidates had become desperate and had began fight with more intensity, making the already crumbling arena shatter more, there were almost no flat spaces left in the arena anymore and most people now were just trying to survive. The three fights that were currently raging through the arena went on, unknowingly defeating candidates through their missed shots and shockwaves alone. Most of the candidates now consisted of aura-users, all the mages had either been knocked out or knocked off the arena, this didn't necessarily mean they were stronger though. Most of the remaining mages were extremely powerful for the age all the candidates were, most of them more powerful than some of the aura-users. Aura didn't necessarily mean that one would be more powerful over someone who didn't have it, it's just something that someone is born with and can become something powerful if trained properly, but some people here had not even trained in aura, they just applied due to the fact that they had it, pure arrogance. Most of these people had been wiped out but even without training, some had still been able to utilise it enough to at least stay on the arena and avoid a powerful hit.

As time passed, the battle's began to slow down, as most of the fighters were now in a state of exhaustion, they had been fighting for over 40 minutes straight now, and the candidate count had been lowered to just below 150, about half of the candidates still here would make it in.

?: "We can come out now right?"

?: "It was so cramped in there…"

A pile of rocks slowly rose up, then crumbled down to the ground, below them was a hole where three people came out of.

?: "So stuffed in there"

?: "Hey, leader, we can fight now right?"

The three figures sped around the arena and began knocking out candidates one by one. Sora, Lux, Joe, Indy, Del and Rez stopped their fights and looked at the three, they walked towards each other, Seth, Natu and Iona also looked at them.

L: "They're pretty powerful aswell"

D: "The rules didn't say it wasn't allowed…"

J: "It is a little cowardly though don't you think?"

Rin and Garoda appeared from behind them and went to their respective owners.

Natu looked back up.

N: "Well, it's not like anyone here is gonna pose much of a threat to you, even without your hand"

Almost everyone had given up on breaking the barrier, but some had began to beg to come in. Seth, Natu and Iona completely ignored them though.

[The Shattered Arena]

The three figures had been speeding around the arena, knocking people unconscious or throwing them off altogether, the count had been lowered to 90 now, only 15 people left to be eliminated before the test was over. None of the powerful figures would stop them, as long as they weren't being knocked off, they didn't mind. Whilst Sora wouldn't let this kind of thing happen normally due to how cheap of a tactic it was, this was a school, not only did he want to get in, but if someone who didn't deserve to get in got in over someone who did, it would be much worse. So Sora allowed this to happen this one time, the others also didn't like this cheap way of getting in but they allowed it to happen.

One of the three shot forward to a boy who had green hair, white clothes and blue eyes, though he had aura he was definitely one of the weaker ones, everyone could sense this and wrote him off as just another weak candidate who would be knocked out, everyone talked to eachother once again and ignored him.

?: "Oh? Me?"

The green haired boy put up his guard and actually completely nullified the attack put forward by one of the three, he then threw a punch towards their stomach, completely knocking them out of the arena.

J: "What did he do?!"

I: "I didn't sense anything..."

Sora's group began to look into the boy, trying to get a feel for what he just did.

I: "His aura didn't change... it wasn't any kind of magic either..."

D: "Then..."

R: "That was just a normal punch?!"

N: "Someone's actually on that level here..."

I: "Wow!"

Se: "Seems like there are alot of interesting people here..."

Seth, Natu and Iona could instantly guess what this boy had just did.

Se: "It doesn't seem to be just him either, he has friends..."

The two others who had come out the hole jumped forward to this boy to knock him out, he had just made this personal after all. But they were met with two other figures, one, a guy with a sword and the other a girl with no weapons.

The two who had jumped towards the boy who had knocked out their party member were also immediately knocked out of the arena, leaving a cloud of smoke beneath them.

R: "But they're not using anything... their aura's aren't rising, and they don't seem to be using magic"

The three figures landed next to eachother and shared a high five between the three of them. They were definitely friends. As the cloud of smoke cleared they could be seen much more clearly, the geen haired boy stood with another young man who had dark blue hair, black clothes and green eyes and a girl who had orange hair, yellow clothes and bright blue eyes. Sora looked at the green haired one in the middle and jumped forward, speeding towards him like a bullet as he readied his fist, covering it in a layer of darkness. The boy noticed this charge even though it happened in a split second and countered with his own strike, the two fists collided and the impact completely broke the already destroyed ground beneath them, completely shattering the arena and actually making the top part of the pillar it stood on fall to the ground, all of the candidates jumped off of the arena to the cracked remains of the pillar below them, the top of the pillar that they once stood on had now completely been shaved off, but since they were still on the pillar, it counted as 'still being in the arena'. Sora landed on top of the tip of a rock, the boy and his friends landed on the side opposing him, staring at him with suspicion. They had all stayed on the offensive and were ready to strike at any time.

?: "You..."

Sora heard a voice behind him and the three who looked at him felt a strange, cold aura over them that sent shivers down their spines.

?: "IDIOT!!!"

Sora felt a blow on his head that left a mark, he had both hands on his head as he looked towards the ground.

The one who had released this aura was Del.

D: "What are you doing?!?!? You almost got us all disqualified!!!"

D: "Can't you see what you did?! LOOK AROUND!!!"

Del ignored him and jumped on the tips of the rocks towards the other three, who still had their guards up. She bowed.

D: "I'm sorry about his stupidity, I'll take responsibility"

Rez walked up to Sora.

R: "Yo, you got destroyed dude"

So: "Shut up... it woulda been the same for you..."

R: "Haven't seen her mad in a while you know..."

The other three lowered their guards after Del apologised.

?: "Um... no problem"

?: "Yeah, it was just kinda surprising"

?: "Why'd he attack me anyway?"

So: "Sorry bout that, wanted to see what was so different about you guys..."

Everyone that surrounded them was strong, but not as strong as Sora or the three in front of him, so they didn't dare to attack them, they began to fight eachother, the current count was 85.

?: "Different?"

So: "Yeah, you're aura isn't the strongest, and you weren't using magic. I just wanted to see what exactly you guys were doing, and how strong you were, what's your names?"

Sora put his hand out. They all hesitated for a bit, but the green haired boy walked up to Sora, he seemed to be about the same height as him.

?: "The names Jin"

Jin turned to his friends.

J: "Well, they ain't enemies"

The young man with the sword walked up next to Jin.

The unarmed girl also walked up to the other side of Jin.

J: "About our power, we really focused more on our strength without aura and magic over what you guys probably focused on, you guys're still strong though!!!"

Le: "No one we've met has been able to fairly share a blow with Jin"
