108 So Much Red

Amon's smile is completely gone before he cocks his head to the side and says "Cute. I see why you like her Kian." He takes a drag of the cigarette before saying "Take her." to the others. The demons all give a sinister smile before attacking.

Kian steps up beside me as they all come at us at the same time! Kian grabs the first demon and slams his face straight into the wall behind us as another grabs my arm. I send out a pulse of energy before kicking him away.

I don't have a weapon so I do the next best thing. I lift my hand and make a gun with my pointer finger and thumb. The demons stop and look at it in confusion before laughing. As soon as one steps forward, I shoot a bolt of electricity at him, knocking him clean off his feet.

The other demons come to a stop and look back to the demon on the ground clutching his chest and rolling around in pain, slightly smoking. They all turn to look back at me in unison, making me smile as I lift my finger and blow on it.

My smile grows as I say "Who's next?" The demons sneer at me and charge all at the same time. They're loyal and brave... or maybe stupid... yeah, probably just stupid. I slam my foot down, pushing magic into the ground and making them fall before shooting another.

Kian grabs one by the shirt before headbutting him into oblivion and throwing him to the side. When another demon grabs me, I whisper "Incineratio" The demon goes up in flames with a scream before turning into ash within just a few seconds.

The other demons quickly stop in their tracks before Amon says "Enough!" When I turn to my right, I see something glowing red pressed against Kian's chest. Kian glares at Amon with so much hate, I'm surprised Amon hasn't caught fire.

I look to the glowing red object before looking back to Kian. He won't even look at me but the way he's frozen, I have a feeling he can't move. "What is that?" I ask trying to step closer. Amon quickly says "Ah, none of that witch. Stay where you are or I'll kill him."

I grit my teeth in anger but I don't move. Amon begins to smile as he says "This is called a demon's cell. When pressed against a demon, they can no longer use their power or move. Quite convenient, really. Now, let's try this again."

He nods at the other demons before turning back to me and saying "Put them on and I won't kill him." The demons toss something at me and when I catch it, I realize they're handcuffs. I'd put money on these not being "normal" handcuffs.

I look back over to Kian and sigh. I glare at Amon as I slip the cuffs on but as soon as they slide over my wrists, they glow red and tighten. Amon smiles in triumph and says "I do really like it when women are obedient. Now, let's be on our way."

I grit my teeth in anger before saying "Not before you let him go." Amon's smile turns dark before saying "Yes yes... I did say I wouldn't kill him..." He suddenly pulls out a black blade and stabs Kian right in the stomach before pulling the glowing stone away!

I scream and try to run over but the other demons are quick to grab me and hold me back! Just as I thought, when I try to use my power, nothing happens! Kian finally moves and clutches his stomach as dark red blood starts to flow from him.

"You son of a bitch!" Kian yells and tries to attack but Amon sidesteps and punches Kian right in the same spot! I scream again and fight against the demons as Kian falls forward and coughs up blood. "Leave him alone! You got what you wanted, right? Let's just go!" I yell out in anger and fear.

Kian spits out the blood and stands again with glowing red eyes. Amon nervously laughs as he backs up and says "This is why I like you so much, Kian, and the same reason the dark prince gave me this blade."

Suddenly, Kian stumbles and looks up with sudden realization. Amon lifts the blade and says "The blade of death... It looks like this is your end, my old friend." My heart suddenly stops as his words echo around in my head.

"No... no... NO! You said you wouldn't kill him you bastard!" I yell out as I kick the demon closest to me. He grabs his junk and falls to his knees but another demon quickly replaces him and holds me back. Amon turns to look at me and smiles before saying "Welcome to hell, witch. We don't keep our word here. Let's go."

I fight against their hold but they're entirely too strong. "Let me go! Kian!" Kian struggles to stand back up and tries to walk to me but Amon kicks him from behind, causing Kian to fall to his knees and cough up more blood.

Tears begin to fall as I struggle to say "Kian! Listen to me, listen. Stop fighting, stop coming, and find help. Find a way to stop the bleeding and something to stop the poison." When he looks up to me, my heart breaks into a million pieces.

He grits his teeth and struggles to stand up again as they start pushing me into the black, carriage looking thing! "Stop Kian!! STOP! I'll be fine, I promise!" I say before they push me all the way in. They slam the door shut as I scramble back to the door.

I look out the small window to see Amon kicking Kian again before walking away. As he walks past Kian, Kian reaches out and grabs his ankle. Kian roars out in anger and rips Amon's leg off in one swift motion!!

Amon screams and falls over before the other demons are able to pull him away and attack Kian. "No!!" I scream and kick at the door with all my strength but it doesn't budge. The carriage suddenly pulls away as the demons pile on top of Kian!

My heart feels like it's being ripped out as I make my hands bloody trying to beat the door down. Tears fall from my eyes as I beg for someone to help, anyone... but no one comes. The carriage makes a turn before picking up speed and carrying me away.
