110 Deal With The Demon

He pauses for a moment before saying "Done." I take a step back and shake my head before saying "I've had your guy Amon lie to me before so forgive me but... I just can't trust your word." Enzo's eyes narrow on me before yelling "Bring Amon!"

A few guards leave and when they come back, they're practically dragging the one-legged demon. They toss him before Enzo and step back. Amon quickly arranges himself and lowers his head as he says "My lord... You called?"

Enzo looks irritated before asking "Did you lie to her?" Amon looks to Enzo with confusion before looking over to me with a perplexed look. I smirk at him as Enzo starts to lose his patience. Amon quickly says "I... I did trick her. So that she'll put on the cuffs... so that I could bring her to you, my lord!"

Enzo rubs his temples before saying "Summon Kian. He should be weak enough to drag here." My heart skips a beat as a really old demon knocks the shiny black floor with a tall cane. The floor lights up in blood red before Kian's body appears before us.

My entire body stiffens as I try to control my reactions. Enzo looks down at Kian and sighs before walking over. He looks down at the unconscious Kian and lifts his hand. A black liquid can be seen lifting out of his body before it's left floating in the air.

Enzo looks over to Amon and says "Once black death is given, It has to claim a life or it will spread like a disease." Amon starts shaking his head and starts to plead but it's too late. Enzo sends the black liquid into Amon.

Amon clutches his chest in pain as Enzo waves and says "Take him away. I don't need damaged goods." He then turns to me and says "Happy?" I lean my head back and forth before saying "Ehhh, maybe send him back to earth. That way I know he's safe."

Enzo narrows his eyes on me as silence falls over the entire room. Everyone watches while holding their breaths as he slowly starts walking back over to me. He stops just inches from me and says "Are you trying to pull something, witch?"

I look into his dark red eyes and say "That would be pretty stupid of me to do while I stand in your castle, cuffed, and at your mercy." Enzo smirks a little before saying "I can lift the rules that will keep him here but I can't send him to earth. He'd have to be summoned."

I slowly nod and lift my hands as I say "If you uncuff me, I can have someone summon him." Enzo narrows his eyes on me again but I keep my gaze level. I hear Kian stir as he looks over and rasps out "Eris, no."

It's one of the rare times he's used my actual name but I ignore him and keep my eyes on Enzo. Enzo slowly nods his head and says "Don't give me a reason to kill everyone you love and care about before locking you up for eternity."

I nod as he reaches out and touching my hands. I try not to react to his touch but the dude is pure evil... It makes my skin crawl. He keeps his eyes locked on mine before unlocking the cuffs. My magic comes roaring back but I keep it locked down as Binx screams "Eris!!!"

I grit my teeth and say "I told you to stop yelling! I need you to summon Kian. Quick!" Binx's confusion flows through the bond but he's quick to start working. Enzo narrows his eyes on me and keeps a hand around my wrist as I say out loud "Okay, just lift the rules."

Enzo watches me closely as he lifts a hand towards Kian. The ground around Kian glows red again as Kian struggles to stand. The poison is gone but he still has a gaping hole in his stomach that's still bleeding.

In my head, I yell at Binx "Hurry! Now!" Binx is scrambling in confusion and says "Almost! Give me a few more seconds woman! What the hell is going on!?" I look over to Kian and give him a small smile. This time I can save him...

"Once Kian returns, Bind him to the house and heal him. Don't allow him to leave the house or return down here. When you can, summon me." I say in my head to Binx as I look back to Enzo. I nod to him and say "Thank you." Enzo still seems uncertain as he turns and looks back to Kian struggling to stand.

Binx curses and says "It will take several days before I have the strength to summon someone again! What the hell is going on!?" I sigh and say "I know Binx. I'll hold on until you can summon me. Remember to bind Kian to the house so he can't leave and can't be summoned back down here, okay?"

Binx growls at me and says "I got it! I got it!" Suddenly, the ground under Kian lights up again causing him to yell. "Eris! NOO!!" His voice echos around the room long after he's gone. The light disappears and all that's left is a pool of blood.

Enzo turns back to me with a slight smile and says "Now, your turn." I sigh and say "I would love to do it now but as you can see, I've been attacked and chased for days. I'm hungry and tired so my magic isn't strong enough."

Enzo stares at me for a long moment before smirking and saying "Very well. Let's go have dinner together and get to know each other more." I give him a smile in return as he slowly releases my wrist and says "Follow me"

I do just that and follow him to a dark room with an equally dark table. He pulls out and chair and says "Sit" as he pulls out a seat right next to mine. A large plate of food is brought out and placed in front of me but Enzo doesn't eat anything. He sits in the chair and watches me silently.

Let's see how long I can prolong my death...
