135 When Death calls

I can't see the moon, but I can still feel it. I breathe in deep, pulling as much energy from the moon as I can. Lightning lights up the night sky, seconds before a low rumble follows behind it. My eyes begin to burn as I call on my shifter side and attack.

I fly straight at him and spin! He jumps back and tries to dodge my sharp blades but one of them manages to clip his jaw. He lifts a hand and touches the spot before lifting his bloody fingers up to his lips and saying "I do love playing rough."

He suddenly disappears and appears behind me. I quickly drop and spin around, trying to cut him again but he's already gone. When I feel the air next to my head move, I quickly lift my arms and block his foot from hitting me in the side of the head!

I fly sideways and slide to a stop on all fours. I feel my canines extend as I bare my teeth at him and growl. His eyes flash with excitement as he says "Yes! This is what I'm talking about!" Lightning flashes again as I lunge at him. I use my magic to give me speed, surprising him when I bury both blades into his shoulders and headbutting him.

He stumbles back and reaches up to his face before suddenly laughing. The laughter starts to sound like it's coming from an insane person as he slowly stands up. I waste no time in attacking him again. I quickly jump and kick him in the side of the head but he catches my foot at the last second.

Everything seems to slow down as our eyes meet, his eyes are solid pitch-black. His hand tightens around my foot before he throws me clean across the graveyard. I plow through several tombstones before rolling to a stop.

I roll over to my back and try to remember how to breathe as he suddenly appears above me. Lightning hits again as he looks down at me and says "You bleed just like her..." Thunder cracks as the first rain begins to fall.

I kick out and clip him in the chin before quickly scrambling to my feet and stumbling back several feet. I use my magic to quickly heal myself as I gasp for air. Suddenly, something hits Enzo and causes him to stumble back several feet.

When I see his chest become covered in blood, I realize someone had shot him! I quickly look over to see Harris reloading a large riffle. That crazy sonofabitch!! When Enzo's eyes lock onto Harris, he quickly attacks. I scream out "NOO!!" and lift my hand out in panic.

The ghosts move together and create a large wall, instantly stopping Enzo in his tracks. Enzo jerks back like he's been burn and yells out in anger. Rain begins to fall down in a heavy downpour as I pull out two new blades and start running towards Enzo.

My eyes blaze as I jump up and leap onto his back, burying both blades into his back as the humans on the other side of the cemetery ghost wall watch on in horror. Enzo yells out and reaches back to grab me as Harris shoots him again.

Enzo stumbles as I hold on and crawl up to his shoulders. Another shot hits Enzo, right in his knee! He stumbles and falls to one knee as I wrap my thighs around his head and twist before quickly jumping away.

He suddenly stops moving and falls to the ground with his head twisted at an odd angle. I huff and struggle to catch my breath as everyone grows silent. I quickly pull out my last blade and pull out my most deadly poison.

I pour the poison all over the blade as I walk over to him. I can't take any chances with him... I toss the empty bottle and roll him over onto his back. I lift the blade and plunge it down into his heart as lightning strikes right over us.

I leave the blade into his heart and stumble back on unsteady legs. The human police behind me all start cheering in joy as I turn to look at Harris. Crazy bastard... I can't help but smirk at him as he gives me a knowing smile and nods his head.

He's never gonna let this one go... Suddenly, the men go quiet and Harris's face drops as his eyes lock onto something behind me. Dark magic pulses out from behind me, nearly bringing me to my knees! I turn around to see Enzo's body lift up off the ground like something you'd see in an old horror movie!

I stumble back a few feet a watch in horror as his neck starts twisting back into place! "What the actual..." I say taking another step back. Once his head finally realigns, he lifts his hand and slowly starts pulling the blade out of his heart as his solid black eyes open.

My heart skips a beat as I watch a real live horror movie play out in front of me. When he pulls the blade out, he lifts it to his mouth and licks it like it's a lollipop! His eyes lock onto me as he says "Really Eris, is this the best you can do? It looks like I'm going to have to teach you a lesson."

I flinch when I hear the gun go off behind me but when I see Enzo's hand quickly go up, my heart sinks. He opens his hand and drops the bullet as he says "Playtime is over!" Suddenly, large black wings spread out from his back!

My jaw hits the ground as I take another step back. He has wings!? Before I realize it, something hits me and I'm airborne! Enzo! I struggle in his arms as he flies higher and higher! I use my magic to lace my hands and hit him over and over but I get the feeling I'm no different from a child like this.
