Much like Winter, Marcellus barely made it on time.

He eventually reached the location that was given by the bodyguard he assigned to her.

The situation that greeted him was nothing short of how horrendous the entire idea of it alone. He was thrown in aghast shock and immense panic, and if it was not for the petrifying sensation that welled inside him after seeing Winter at the verge of falling, he would have been too frozen to move.

'Ms. Agreste! Hold on, Ms. Agreste!' was what kept running in his mind that whole time.

With the bodyguard and the security of the building in tow, Marcellus rushes all the way to the balcony where Winter and Violet are.

By the time he arrived, both of them were about slide down and fall together. But before that happened, he immediately came to their rescue and seized a hold on her.

"Ms. Agreste...!" Marcellus exclaimed as soon as he got near to them.

"Hang on! I'll help pull her!"

"S-Sir Lexington..." Winter breathed out shakily, feeling so relieved that it seemed like ten years of her lifespan have returned.

"I can't anymore! Please, take my spot! Please! Please!"

"Calm down. I'll do it."

With his manly strength that was indisputably superior, he was able to haul both of them out of the danger zone and back to the balcony.

They dropped on the floor with a loud thud, panting a little and shuddering in exhaustion at the same time. He only watched them regain their bearings for now. Questioning them will have to come later out of consideration of them.

And so, only silence prevails between the three of them for the next seconds to come.

"You stupid woman!"

That's all until Winter breaks said silence, taking Marcellus and Violet aback.

She finds the need to resume her anger outburst earlier. It doesn't matter if she's still tired from all that heavy-lifting or traumatized by the scene she's forced to behold that time. She'll give her a piece of her mind right then and there.

"And here I thought you were in an accident! What the hell is this?! Why did you come up with this whole stupid stunt?!" Winter proceeded to bolt out furiously.

"A-An... a-accident?" Violet blurted out with a puzzled look.

"Ms. Agreste, calm down..." Marcellus tried to cut in between them, unsure of what had gotten into her all of the sudden.

"You're still not in a state to shout like that-"

"No, she's gonna hear me! I was mad because she did not even try to lift herself up! She was really thinking of falling!"

At that, Violet could not help but cast down her gaze and blush in mortification - her own actions have registered in her head only then.

Seeing her guilt-ridden and ashamed expression, Winter finally finds the will to calm down a little. She gets that she realizes what she has done at least. It's not her place to continue reproaching her or give her a long-winded lecture.

"Still, you should not have done that. You should never do that - never ever again..." Winter muttered underneath her breath, furrowing her brows together and lowering her head for a bit - looking like she was pleading.

"You may not know me, Ms. Miller. But at the very least, please know that I'm one of those people who thinks that your life is precious."

Violet has fallen into silence for a moment.

She is at a loss - uncertain of how to respond.

Then, like a cascade, her tears suddenly begin to stream down the sides of her face, doing all the talking in her stead. She then starts to cry and breaks down into these small, delicate pieces - she appears so vulnerable and fragile. That is only when they get a glimpse of the possible cause behind her action.

She is in a lot of pain.

At that realization, Winter decided to settle down for good. She only turned to comforting Violet from that point on, showing a gentler side of her compassion.

For that whole time, Marcellus has not said a single thing - he remains speechless and stunned as he begins to form a different view of Winter that is not against his will.
