Relentless silence.
People knew they were going to witness a bloodshed in the club.
Damon face was turned to a side due to the slap impact. A slender hand was printed on his face. Shock covered his chiselled features.
Once his expressions turned cold, his fists tightened.
"You...", his secretary, who just broke out of his stupor, blurted and charged at the insolent girl.
But before he could even touch that girl. Damon raised his hand to stop him. His simple majestic and elegant gesture was enough. Secretary Jiang stopped at once and glared at the girl with anger coursing through his mind.
How dare she raise a hand on their respected and regal boss?
Damon looked at the girl. An arrogant and lethal smile hung on his face. His face was calm but it still looked bloodthirsty as a murderous aura surrounded him.
It was only a calm before storm. A long, calamitous storm that would shatter Rosaline world into pieces.
"This is the moment you are going to regret for the rest of your life", his voice was dangerously low that had ability to freeze one's heart and scar one's soul for eternity.
And just like that he had left the club without sparing another glance to Rosaline.
Her puzzled thoughts couldn't understand what did he mean by that as she stayed in the same place for quite a while but she couldn't understand why she had felt an inexplicable chill when he said those words to him.
She helped the woman who was still lying on the floor. Strangely the woman treated her coldly, not in a manner one should treat the one who stood for her side.
The whole club was still very silent. People threw incredulous and sympathetic glances at Rosaline. But they were so traumatized that no one dared to near Rosaline or attempted to inform her of her imminent end.
When Amy came back and learned that Rosaline had slapped someone she was not happy.
On their way to back Amy had said to Rosaline.
"What if the one you slapped was very important man Rose? Why are you so reckless! I just left you for five minutes and you already got yourself in a fight"
"Important person?", Rosaline laughed. Her thoughts were still muddled. "So what? If he is important he can bully women?"
Amy grimaced while still driving.
"You didn't know the whole story. What if the woman was at fault?"
"Even if she was at fault", Rosaline whispered as she leaned back against her chair, "He still had no right to raise a hand on her"
She felt quite sleepy after today. So much was happened that day. It took her no time to fall asleep in Amy car.
Amy sighed helplessly at her friend.
There was something about that man that was very unsettling.
And when she had come out of the restroom, she could see how silent the club was.
What if that man took grudges seriously and haunted Rose?
Amy looked at her friend who was sleeping like a baby.
Nothing would go wrong. After all Rose was not from an ordinary family. Her family held great fortune and not anyone could bully someone of her family.
Perhaps at that time Amy didn't know that the one Rosaline had offended was someone who was also not from an ordinary family. A man who could chill countless hearts and enslave numerous souls. His prestige and fear was unprecedented. Someone who saw the human beings as insignificant insects in his eyes.
