82 Awaken

Wyn left the sparring grounds running at top speed towards the archery fields. Knowing the majority of the clan members would be there he didn't waste time on going to other areas.

When Wyn left Mika also had Saavi get some healers in case an emergency actually does happen.

By herself, Mika had nothing else to do other than watching Kaze and Joanos' fight. Moving in for a better view, she stopped herself just shy of the sparring ring.

She had felt the pressure before when helping Wyn, but this force felt like a barrier.

Exploring the air in front of her, Mika heard a click sound as a wave of dizziness swept over her mind.

Holding her head, Mika tried to steady herself on wobbly legs, but darkness was slowly dimming her sight.

Feeling herself losing unconsciousness, Mika tried to call out to Kaze, but he was busy fighting Joanos.

Closing her eyes once, twice by the third time, Mika fainted.

Kaze and Joanos were deep into their fight when they felt a fluctuation of energy coming at them. Jumping apart, Joanos and Kaze spun to face the new "threat".

Alert, Kaze turned to see Mika standing inside the middle of the sparring ring with her eyes closed. Confused, Kaze looked toward the sidelines for Saavi but saw no one not even Wyn was there.

Free of the blood lust that clouded his mind Kaze wondered where did Saavi go leaving Mika by herself? Before realizing he let the fighting fog his judgment. Seeking to rectify his mistakes, he called out to Mika.

"Miss Mikaela?..."

Joanos, who also broke free from his blood lust, rained in his gifts and approached Mika.

"Miss Mikaela..."

When their calls weren't getting a response, Kaze waved his hand in front of Mika's face, seeing no change he went to shake her shoulder.

As soon as Kaze's hand touched her shoulder a force of energy burst out of Mika's body. Surprising Kaze and Joanos, leaving them no chance to avoid the attack.

Blown several feet away, they landed hard on the ground. With broken bones and bruises developing on their bodies it took a long time before they could get back on their feet.

Joanos who was standing a little further away from Mika was able to get his bearing first. Angry at the unwarranted attack Joanos stomped back towards Mika shouting words of injustice.

"Miss Mikaela!... How could you just attack someone...If you want to fight all you have to do is ask...You could have killed someone!...don't you think you are being too much-"

"Shut Up!"Kaze who was the closest to Mika was finally able to get up when he saw Joanos stomping towards Mika in anger.

Raising his voice to yell, Kaze was able to stop Joanos before he did something stupid and put them all in danger.

"What did you say to me?... Is it wrong for me to teach Miss Mikaela about honor?"

"Yes..." Kaze was still trying to catch his breath.

"Excuse ME!?"

Standing up straight and regulating his breathing, Kaze looked Joanos with a stern warning in his eyes.

"Can't you see she used energy..."

"Of course I can see. I was blown halfway across the fields...Wait! Miss Mikaela used energy!?"

Finally getting what Kaze was saying to him, Joanos moved back from Mika's personal space.

"You mean she has awakened!?... But I thought she hasn't pass twelve years old yet." Walking to Kaze, Joanos gave Mika a wide berth of space.

"I don't know what's happening...all I know is Miss Mikaela was the one to blew us away... Also, it doesn't look like she is conscious. We can't act impulsively if it is her awaking."

When Kaze finished his words, Wyn walked in with Lord Tasar on his heels.

"Young master!.." Seeing Kaze and his young master has stopped fighting Wyn ran towards Joanos at full speed.

Joanos and Kaze yelled for him to stop but it was too late, Mika sent out another pulse of energy.

Kaze and Joanos were better prepared this time to protect themselves, but Wyn and Lord Tasar weren't so lucky.

Lord Tasar, who was standing the furthest away only caught the tail end of Mika's attack though it was enough to knock him off his feet. Momentary startle Lord Tasar was still able to put two and two together and understand the situation.

"She has awakened...Is she conscious?" Looking at Kaze for more information Lord Tasar slowly got to his feet walking slowly to Mika.

"I not fully sure..."

Facing Mika from a couple feet away, Lord Tasar slowly sent out his gifts, testing Mika's mind.

Sensing no awareness, Mika was like how he found Joanos.

"She's unconscious...she doesn't know she is attacking us."

"Who's unconscious?..." Everyone turned to see Saavi walk in with a healer.

"Miss Mikaela has awakened."

Saavi stopped in her tracks, they were seven months away until Mika's thirteenth birthday, why was this happening now?
