181 If I can't get his love

With her hair tied up, her face is more visible. The light makeup on her face makes her look cleaner and livelier. The silk red dress hugs her body enough to show her curves. Klyn, satisfied with his work, takes a step backwards. "I am so proud of myself."

"..." Sarie knits her brows together. The makeup on her skin feels strange. She isn't used to this. The dress is too revealing. She twitches her wings in discomfort. "Will he like me now?"

"If he rejects you, then he is not into women." Klyn pauses as he leans closer to her. "If I wasn't in love with Nami, I would have dated you."

"I would have broken your skulls though," She replies with a straight voice. "You are nothing like him."

Klyn keeps the smile on his face. The fallen angel doesn't have a brain for sure. She has only wings -- and some beautiful features. But she isn't anything like Nami either. He hasn't seen Nami for hours. Should he try to enter her office? Klyn flinches when he senses someone's eyes on his back. He turns around and notices a man with dark eyes. With only one glance, he can tell that the man is one of the Sung boys. 

They are nine brothers. The bond between them is envious. Why can't his nine vampire brothers come and support him? He has to face nine demons, one goddess, one great saint, and his true mate by himself. 

No support from his family. He's all alone. 

Klyn sighs. He notices that Sarie's face is red as a tomato. The angel is looking down, fidgeting with her fingers while biting her lower lips shyly. Even a fallen angel can make such an expression when she falls in love. Then, what about Nami? Does she not love him?

Nami probably hates him. 

"What are you doing here?" Sung Seung Min asks.

"I am just --" Klyn starts to speak. This is the first time he is meeting Seung Min. "Just… Just…" 

Damn! Why does he sound like a broken radio? 

"Klyn was helping me look sexy." Sarie raises her head and blinks her eyes bashfully. "Seung Min, do I look sexy to you?"

"I have never seen anyone as grotesque as you," Sung Seung Min replies in a beat. "So, answer me. Why are you still here, Sariel?"

Fallen Angel Sariel lowers her head and cries with her lips pinched together. The mascara is ruined when she rubs her eyes. She sniffles and wipes her cheeks, ruining Klyn's hard work. 

Klyn has had enough. He points at Sung Seung Min and yells, "Are you a man? How can you treat a woman in this way? You should treat them with respect, especially someone who loves you."

"Says the man who has played with countless women's hearts." Sung Seung Min raises his brow. "Besides, the 'woman' you are defending is not exactly a woman. Angels are sexless unless they want to have a gender. So, she can turn into a man when she wants to be a man."

"Nope." Sung Seung Min looks away. Nobody notices how his eyes tremble for an instant. "I don't even want to see you."

"Then, should I become invisible?" Sariel considers. "We can still be together if I become invisible. You will always feel my presence."

Klyn is taken aback. Sariel is genderless. Why didn't he know this? Nobody told him about the angels' physiology. 

"I want you to go back to Heaven." Sung Seung Min turns his head toward Sariel. "I am not into women or men, sex or relationships. Even if I were interested in it, I would never be with you. Because of you, my Elder Brother could have died and my aunt could have been eaten by those creatures. Did you forget what you did? We aren't forgiving when it comes to our family members."

He turns around and walks away. Sariel slumps her shoulders. Sung Seung Min is still angry about what she did to Nakashima Wakana, his aunt. Everyone hates her. She takes a long breath. Should she give up? Maybe she should cut her wings away and turn into a demoness. Should she return to Heaven? She isn't a demoness yet. Heaven might take her back. Should she stay here? Sung Seung Min doesn't want her.

"You know." Klyn folds his arms. "He is an arsehole."

She looks up at him. "Don't talk about him like that."

They remain silent for a moment. 

"Alright. I am going to find the Sung boy who got hurt because of me." Klyn says to her, "And you should find the people who got hurt because of you. Get them to forgive you. Then, we will deal with the people who are angry because we hurt the people they care about and ask for forgiveness. Even if it takes an eternity, I will make Nami look at me."

After saying his piece, Klyn heads out. He needs to face Sung Seung Won and ask for forgiveness. Even if he gets beaten to death, he will confront his mistakes. Sung Seung Won needs to understand a few things. Klyn did seduce his girlfriend, but that woman was already wavering and planning to leave Sung Seung Won. He was only a catalyst in something that was already meant to be broken. 

Sariel takes a deep breath. It's easy for Klyn to find the people he hurt. What about her? Nakashima Wakana and Sung Soo Hwan aren't in this world. But Choi MinHo is. Maybe she should follow Choi Minho to the worlds of Devils. Then, there is no turning back. Either she will perish there or she will turn into a devil. She is too weak to return without being affected. Darkness has a way of contaminating the depth of one's soul. And she is already tainted with desire for Sung Seung Min.

"Well, if I can't get his love, then I don't want his hate either," She mumbles to herself as she stands up. "I will disappear then. I am already tired of this."
