6 Zhi Ruo's misery -I

Next day early in the morning, even brfore the sunrise three people were sitting in the study room. The atmosphere was silent and gloomy. Mr. Zhi was looking at Zhi Xin while waiting him to speak, while Mrs. Zhi was preparing tea for all of them.

After some time when everyone tought Zhi Xin wont say anything he dropped a sentence:

" I have decided that ruoruo's engagement should be called off"

Hearing the words that came out of his elder son's mouth, Mr. Zhi got angry and kicked the chair that Zhi Xin was sitting on.

As soon as he spoke the words Zhi Xin expected his father to lash out and expected something like this to happen, hence when Mr. Zhi kicked the chair he elegantly got up from the chair preventing him flying off with the chair.

The chair went back and crashed with the wall of study roon and Zhi Xin was standing in front of his father.

Looking at the father and son standing against each other Mrs. Zhi was the only one who was calm and looked at her son for explanation. Mrs. Zhi was a very smart women and someone who knew Zhi Xin very well.

Zhi Xin was very smart since childhood and he was very protective of his family as well. Mrs. Zhi knew how much he pampered ruoruo. It was to the extent that once when Zhi Ruo said she wants her birthday cake made by her brother he worked on completing her wishes without any second tought. The boy whose feet never entered kitchen prepared his sister's favourate birthday cake for more than 10,000 peopple by himself alone without anyone's help within 24 hours.

Zhi Xin calmly walked towards the floor to ceiling window with his hands in his pocket. Looking at the son who grew taller than him Mr. Zhi knew theres something that he dosent know. Calming down a little Mr. Zhi asked his son to spill the beans.

" I will tell you but you have to promise me that no matter what you will control your emotions.

I dont want ruoruo to feel guilty."

When father Zhi nodded Zhi Xin started telling him what he heard from Zhi ruo last night.

last afternoon Zhi Ruo was reading some comics and was prepared to take her afternoon nap as usual, when she received a call from Su Yehan, her fiancee. Su ye asked her to go on a dinner date and also asked her to wear dress that he has sent her as her 18th birthday gift.

Su ye and Zhi ruo were neighbours since 12 years and Su Ye was a transfer student who had no friends hence Zhi ruo was his first friend in school. Soon the su family and the Zhi family started dealing in terms of business increasing their friendship.

Zhi ruo was a cheerful girl but she used to have a selective people in her circle of friends and almost no boy was present in her circle of friends. Looking at how Zhi ruo and Su Ye got along they were deemed as a couple by the whole school. Considering the situation Su ye also decided to start dating Zhi ruo afterall who wouldnt want to date a beautiful girl.
