(Two weeks later)

Things started getting normal slowly, Grandma Qing was discharged and was brought home for further recuperation. Grandpa Qing was busy with taking care of his wife.

Zhi Ruo had been graduated with successful publication of her thesis. While Senior Xu's letter of recommendation helped speeding up her application process and luckily she was selected. Currently she was waiting to get her offer letter and her hiring position.

Zhi Ruo and Qing Shan had consistently worked on their relationship, they have started spending time with each other and also sharing a basic update on their day, was also somethng they talked about.

Though Qing Shan had alot of questions that he wanted to ask Zhi Ruo but his main focus was to strengthen their relationship before taking it in front of a storm.

Because of aunt wei, Zhi Ruo also started learning some basic dishes that can help her in taking charge of kitchen if needed. She also discovered that Qing Shan actually knew how to cook, and as compared to her he was a lot better cook with least mess created in kitchen.

Because of his last lesson when he asked Zhi Ruo to help him with dishwasher, Qing Shan has later never allowed Zhi Ruo to help him while cooking....

But can all mistakes be avoided?

No

Qing Shan was not an exception to this, even though he tried his best to be as careful as with Zhi Ruo and her cooking skills...but he terribly failed. Once he was cooking soup, and while he was busy with cutting meat he asked Zhi Ruo to add a cup of cornstarch.

For him he had actually kept a cup which had the ready-made solution, but Zhi Ruo actually went ahead and added a cup of flour in the soup. Before Qing Shan could realize and protect his dish, it was already ruined.

Another instance was when he was baking a simple sponge cake on the ocassion of Zhi Ruo's graduation, he was busy whisking batter for muffins and asked Zhi Ruo to add sugar in cake's batter and put it in oven. Qing Shan thought 'who can do a mistake with sugar...and also there was already appropriate amount of sugar taken out in the bowl just besides the batter bowl. This time there will be no mistakes'

But probably he underestimated Zhi Ruo, because Qing Shan did not mention the addition of powdered sugar, Zhi Ruo added sugar cubes. When the cake came out of the oven Qing Shan kept wondering why it tasted bitter instead of sweet...

It was precisely due to such incidents which made Zhi Ruo start learning about kitchen ingredients and sharpen her cooking skills.

Today was the day when all the new recruits in the department will be receiving their offer letters and joining dates. Though Zhi Ruo was sure about herself, but the presence of offer letter would relieve even the last bit of her anxiety.

Since morning she was waiting for the mail, even during lunch she constantly had her cellphone in her one hand refreshing her mail continuously. At-last she decided to call and ask senior Xu about the letter when she received the mail. It was her offer letter.

Quickly sending the drafted thank-you mail she opened the letter to check for her position and joining date.
