The horrible faces and the panic in the face of such cruel people gave Zhi Ruo a sense of happiness. Though as a girl she usually tries to prevent blood shed, today she was promoting it.
Quickly understanding the tenacity of the situation the senior old man started checking the bald man who was his co-worker since year's. Unable to understand what has happened and how to treat it he shouted, "What have you done? What do you want?"
Even before the words could be finished came Zhi Ruo's strong reply, "Your life"
Currently Zhi Ruo was like a tickling time bomb for all of them which could blast any moment.
The senior old man had figured out that Zhi Ruo would not help him, thus he himself decided to run to the laboratory and get some medicine for his colleague. Before he could implicate his actions Zhi Ruo warned him, "He will die a slow and painful death. If anyone of you want's to help him...they will die a much more painful death. So, think wisely old man."
Turning back towards the group of cowards, Zhi Ruo asked them again, "Tell quickly what way you choose. If you delay time, I will decide myself and trust me.....Trust me , that would be the worst result."
One of them spoke, "I..I..want a easy death."
Soon the rest also decided the same thing.
Standing up from the crouching position, Zhi Ruo pulled the gun that was tugged in at the back of her waist and pointed it towards the crowd of people. Within a split second a bang of gunshots resonated in the mountains.
Turning towards the old man Zhi Ruo raised one hand with gun and asked him while looking at it,"Would you also like a painless death." Then looking at the bald man whose nose had started bleeding along with ear's she asked, "Or would you like a pailful death."
Without answering anything the old man started running outside of the room to save his life. Looking at him running, Zhi Ruo smiled as if mocking him for a childish attempt. Shaking her head she murmured, 'I like to respect elder's, but people like you don't give me a reason to."
Taking a needle out of her pocket, Zhi Ruo flicked it towards the old man who was trying to run away. The needle flew and stuck in his neck. Because of his fear, along with the focus, which was on running away he did not notice something pinching him.
Walking towards the chair, Zhi Ruo turned it around and sat down leisurely while watching the mouse run here and there.
In reality she did not sit there to watch the scene, instead she sat there to look what the old man would do in his last few moment's so she could get a clue about who is the mastermind behind such gruesome thing's.
Another reason that intrigued her was, why was the bald man exactly similar to Gopa. Was it something to be cared for, or was was it just a coincidence? There were too many thing's going on in her ming. Soon, some time passed and the old man started to get problem's breathing making him fall down on the ground.
Smiling, Zhi Ruo simply got up from the chair, adjusted her clothes and walked out of the place.
