142 I knew you will come back

Fire gave a quick glance at his trembling hands while remembering what once he heard from Smoke "A leader is supposed to take decisions according to the situation."

Taking a deep breath he nodded and guided Zhi Xin while he waited near the exit to pull the rope if required.

When they were one minute far from the mountain on which Smoke was standing, Zhi Xin started sliding down through the rope. Reaching at the end of the rope, Zhi Xin first tied it to his torso tightly so he can completely focus on grabbing Smoke instead of divided focus on rope and Smoke. Once the rope was tied tightly across his waist, he used his legs to entangle his body upside down. Now he was completely tied down with the rope while his both hands were free to grab her.

Zhi Xin didn't knew why he wanted to give his best and not make a single mistake in this rescue. He was completely unsure about why he had wanted to do this himself. What he had told Fire was completely not the main reason that he offered to go on the rope himself.

They were reaching the mountain. Opening his both arm's wide, Zhi Xin raised his head to make enough space on his neck as well. As he was able to see Smoke clearly he made a gesture explaining her that she should catch his neck while he will catch her waist for better grip.

With a small nod to each other, Smoke jumped high from the mountain while Zhi Xin was a couple of second's away. While Smoke was in the air, Zhi Xin's heart beat stopped for a split second. It was the same feeling he was feeling since long as if, if anything happens to smoke he would loose a very important person in his life.

Without wasting any time, as soon as Smoke jumped, Zhi Xin caught her waist with both hand's, while Smoke circled her hands around his neck and entangled her leg's with the last part of the rope for extra support.

Fire was anxiously looking at both of them. Though he himself wanted to rescue his team leader but he was scared as well if his emotion's would affect his performance.As soon as Zhi Xin had caught Smoke, Fire had started pulling the rope upwards while simultaneously instructing Chile to fly up else they had chances of crashing into another mountain's.

Slowly and calmly Fire pulled the rope up without any jerks which might make them lose their grip.

Catching Smoke, Zhi Xin's heart felt at ease. What alarmed him was the tactic understanding that he felt with Smoke. The way she jumped at exact moment, including her sharpness of catching him as well as using her legs to entangle in the rope for extra grip. Everything surprised him. While they wee pulled up he quietly spoke surprising Smoke, "I don't know why, but I knew you will come back. I was sure that you will come back alive."

Locking her eyes with Zhi Xin, Smoke quietly thought in her heart, 'It is because, you have taught me how to win in any and every situation that you had such strong faith in me.'. Keeping her thought's in her heart she simply nodded, while waiting to be pulled up.
