179 Five suicides

"Did you find anything?" Xu Beihan asked.

Ruihan was the one who was responsible for going out and co-ordinating with the forensic team to find out crucial information to help them. Another part of the job that Ruihan would do is also regarding finding clues from the public.

Ruihan had excellent camouflage skills, he would be able to camouflage and enter in the crowd, blending into it he would try to find out some more information.

Ruihan nodded and passed a thick stack of papers to Xu Beihan, "This is the information of all the suicide cases in the university."

Xu Beihan quickly picked up the papers and started going through it.

Zhi Ruo had just entered the cabin and stood still watching Xu Beihan reading something.

"What happened?" Xu Beihan asked looking at Zhi Ruo. He knew she would never come up if there was not something urgent. Zhi Ruo glanced at Ruihan before turning her gaze to Xu Beihan, "Is this the information regarding the suicide cases in the past?"

Xu Beihan was not sure why would Zhi Ruo ask this question all of a sudden. Nevertheless, he glanced at the thick stack of papers and nodded.

"How many are they?" Zhi Ruo asked in a low voice.

"Three!" Ruihan answered he was completely unsure about her way of thinking.

Zhi Ruo had already expected the answer. She lowered her head, and softly shook it before raising it again and meeting Xu Beihan's eyes, "Five murders."

"What?" Xu Beihan and Ruihan both shouted in unison.

So many things came up unexpectedly catching everyone off guard. First, the evidence was not enough to prove it was a suicide case. Then, it was confirmed that it is a murder case. The media came up with another point that made their departments ashamed. This was not the only case that was suicide.

If in any university three suicide cases are appearing within a year, it is bound to create an uproar.

None of them thought about it and only started thinking about the matter after they were pointed out by the media. This thing has stained the reputation of their department.

Now when Ruihan was able to gather information about the previous suicide cases, another piece of news was disclosed by Zhi Ruo. It was not only three suicides, it was five murders which clearly shows the complexity of the situation.

"Are you even serious?" Ruihan was completely enraged. He questioned Zhi Ruo who had sat in the office and concluded about murders while he only received three cases which were suicide. Such a big gap, it was obvious somewhere there was a gap.

"Zhi Ruo, I hope you know what you are speaking?" As compared to Ruihan, Xu Beihan was relatively calm and composed.

Facing questions in an enquiring tone from both the people, Zhi Ruo simply nodded and did not speak anything to explain.

Xu Beihan had worked with Zhi Ruo and was pretty aware of her character. Realizing her thoughts Xu Beihan glanced at Ruihan and gestured him to leave.
