30 Chapter 30: Reason

Yue entered the center building of Pinnacle also called \"Archpoint\". The center building of Pinnacle was decorated with a multitude fancy jewelry, carvings on the walls, paintings, and more. It was a complete understatement to call the place fancy. The white marble walls could be seen to be line with gold lines that accentuated the regal aura the place was emitting. The center building could be called a lavish castle from how it is constructed. Make no mistake though as despite the lavishness, the building is fortified with extremely high level magical formations that would ensure the safety of the people in it when events like invasions and natural disasters happen.

Going back, Yue suddenly changed the way she is holding Robert, and against his will, he was made to straddle Yue's back. Yue got a rope from who knows where and tied Robert to her waist. The scene could be said as comical to those seeing it, but Robert was very worried. Why was there a need to be strapped?Before Robert could ask, Yue suddenly accelerated, and disappeared on the spot. Based on Robert's muted screams and aching body, one could say he was having the time of his life experiencing such speed.

Yue finally stopped in front of brown wooden door that looked as plain as it could get. There were no carvings on the store or any magic runes whatsoever. Yue knocked in a certain rhythm and number of times before a light flash from the door, and teleported Yue and the demon king's son who was regretting many decisions he had made earlier this day.

They were teleported to a room field with books and scrolls. The room wasn't dusty however. In fact, it could be said that the room was spotless,and was free of dust. An old man with a long robe could be seen standing in front a table whilst reading a book of some sort. There was levitating stick on his right side. The man had slicked grey hair with sharp eyes, and a monocle on his left eye. His aura was wild and manly, but it seemed to contain gentleness at its very depths.

\"Hmph, you damned brats made quite a mess haven't you? Especially the one on your back.\" The man said with bland tone.

Galerion sighed.

\"At the very least, we now know that he has the potential for what we have discussed.\" Galerion replied.

\"Indeed.Before that, heal the brat. He's been groaning non-stop for the past few minutes.\" Yue said as she removed Robert from her back, and through him to the ground.

Galerion didn't let Robert hit the ground, and cast some sort of levitation spell on him. Galerion didn't want to waste time and resources by giving potions so he just casted an expert ranked spell called on Robert to hasten the process.

Robert could feel his body getting better. Once he had recovered enough, he removed the weighted vest on him. He figured it would be less of a strain on his body as he was still levitating. Galerion didn't mind this.

\"Oy brat, this old man here is Galerion. He'll be the one that'll be teaching you along with me. He'll handle magic stuff, and I'll handle hand-to-hand.\" Yue said.

Robert looked at Galerion who stared at him back. Robert removed his gaze from Galerion after a while since the damned old fudge didn't say a word after being stared at. Robert guessed he had to ask why there's another teacher.

\"May I ask why I am being shared like this between the two of you?\" Robert asked politely.

\"Brat number two, you are being shared like this because we wish you to help us complete a certain task or concept.\" Galerion responded

'More nicknames I see.' Robert thought.

\"Concept?\"Robert was confused.

\"We need a young demon race kid like you with immense talent in both melee and magic in order to tap into a certain state that Galerion and I have been hypothesizing along with several other teachers at Pinnacle. It has to be a young one like you as due to certain complicated and technical reasons, it won't work if it was someone older.\" Galerion responded.

\"Hmmm okay then.\"Robert said back.

Galerion raised his left eyebrow in amusement.

\"That's it?No other questions. You're just accepting things as is?\" Galerion asked.

\"Hmmm, none really. I basically asked for this mostly so yeah.\" Robert answered back.

Galerion chuckled hearing this.

\"I see. I won't say anymore regarding that then. Now then, let's talk about your training. Yue, if you please.\" Galerion said.

Yue nodded.

\"Basically we'll be trashing your whole class schedule. We need all of your time for this, and since you asked to be my apprentice, you can't complain about this. Besides, I doubt you'd stay at Tier 4 with your power. We'll arrange a special program for you. You won't be at Tier 1-4. You'll be in a special tier, but further details will be in the future. All your lessons would be taught by us or a visiting teacher. Understand?\" Yue said.

'It's only the first day, and I'm already out of the norm in this out of the norm school. I haven't even gotten to know the new friends I had in class.\" Robert thought as he sighed.

\"Yep. I understand.\"Robert answered back.

Galerion and Yue smiled at this. They liked kids that didn't make a fuss. Galerion then took his wooden stick, and tapped the ground. Books started to fly off the shelves. Galerion then looked at Robert and said,

\"Shall we get started then?You need a lot of knowledge for this plan\"
