32 Chapter 32: Prelude to Hell?Part2

Robert wanted to say no, but before he could open his mouth, he was grabbed and carried by Yue as she flashed out of Archpoint using her absurd physical abilities. People she passed by only felt a strong wind pass, but most of them already knew what this wind meant. Robert was feeling sick being carried like this again. He was thinking if he was going to develop motion sickness due to this.

After awhile Yue, came to a courtyard similar with all the other courtyards Robert visited. Pinnacle was humongous, and they definitely had a lot of courtyards. Yue threw down the son of the demon king who was feeling sick, but couldn't even vomit as he hadn't had anything to eat yet.

"We're going to do some early morning training, pipsqueak." Yue said.

"Can we at least have breakfast first?"Robert asked.

"Relax, you'll have breakfast afterwards. Tell you what, here eat this so you'll at least have some energy." Yue threw what seemed to be a pill to Robert.

Robert catched the pill, and looked at Yue before asking what this was. Turns out, this was a pill made with herbs that replenished someone's energy. It contained lots of nutrients. Yue said that the pill was used by people that holed up in their homes researching for long periods of time without wanting to waste time eating normal food

Robert nodded, and ate the pill. The pill didn't taste bad, and it actually tasted a bit like cooked chicken. He was expecting a bitter herbal taste.

"Now that's done, let's suit you up for the training." Yue said with an evil grin

Robert shivered, but could only nod. Yue took out what seemed to be elastic bands connected to what looked like an exoskeleton made of black material, and the bands itself had magic runes on it. Robert already knew what this tool was for, and could already imagine the muscle pain he would be having due to it. Robert stayed quiet, and Yue came and strapped Robert's arms, waist, and ankles to the exoskeleton. The exoskeleton was attached to Robert's back, and so his front was still the same as normal. Robert could feel a strong pulling force on several parts of his body. The pulling force on his arms and legs were at least 25 kilograms per limb.

"To begin, you're going to run 100 laps around the courtyard." Yue said.

'What a beautiful day it is. A beautiful day to suffer.....' Robert thought.

[Don't worry! You'll get through this! Fight on!] Megumin cheered inside his head.

Robert thanked Megumin, and then began running around the courtyard. The pulling force made him put extra effort into keeping his body straight, and to stop the force from making limbs curl up from the tension. After the 10th lap, Robert was already wheezing, but before he could complain, Yue threw another pill to his mouth. Robert didn't even have time to chew it. He felt energy flowing through his body again, and kept running.

This happened multiple times, and the pill only helped give him energy, but not ease the soreness of his muscles. By the end of the 100th lap, it was already nearing lunch time. He had been running for several hours already. He felt tired and painful all over. Yue walked over, and looked at the poor kid gasping for air on the ground.

"Looks like this sight will be daily occurrence. Get up, let's eat something, and we'll be able to proceed to the next phase of today's schedule." Yue said as she removed the exoskeleton from Robert.

Robert got up despite his whole body aching and shaking from the muscle soreness. Yue nodded, and gave Robert a long stick to use as crutch. Robert didn't even have the energy to comment on this, and took the stick, and wobbled back to Archpoint, and to his room. He didn't care that people saw him, and started murmuring. He knew that this would be happening often, so he'll get used to it, and so will they.

Yue made Robert take a long bath as he stank, and then was given by Galerion some food to eat. Robert ate everything without leaving a single crumb on the plate. He needed the energy. Afternoon came, and he was made to read books regarding magical theories, and he answered multiple tests regarding it. The tests were hard, and it caused him lots of headache. Luckily, despite his rough speech, Galerion was pretty kind, and didn't give him any punishment. Galerion explained things where Robert went wrong. At night, Robert slept like a log. A couple of weeks went by, he never went back to classes, and was either cooped up with Galerion or was being trained by Yue or made to run by her. He didn't practice any fighting skills though, and it seemed like he was being trained by Yue to possess immense stamina, and frankly it was working. By the end of the month, Robert was able to finish the 100 laps with the exoskeleton attached to him, and not once that day was he fed a pill while running. Yue smiled at this, and said,

"Now, we move on to training martial arts."
