Chapter 213 - Preparations

In the headquarters and house of "The Black Summons," Ellena was presenting the plans that Aaron made. 

Of course, she intended to let everyone know about it. Since they weren't really that huge number of people, just 40 in total, she wanted to listen to each of their sentiments.

"So, right now, we will put into account the departments. And the first one I've come into mind as the most important is 'Accounting and Finance'." Ellena said.

Just two days after she returned, she was eager again to work as their leader. Of course, they used the other time as their leisure for home welcome for Ellena, but it wasn't that long since they needed to work again.

It wasn't that much heavy work; Ellena just wanted to make sure that even without her management, the organization would still run.

Their organization isn't a government-approved organization, but still, they weren't questioned since Verxal already fixed their papers to be allowed to base in the city. They also don't have a bad reputation, and just being with that was enough.

But why are Aaron and Ellena so eager to have fixed departments for the organization? It was because they wanted to spread their names.

The founding members were strong, above average, even those who weren't that strong. Because of the technique, they were able to maximize their stats. 

"Why do we need to keep on running? It was because of a greater danger that will happen in the future. Do you know about dimensional chaos or demons?"

Everyone was clueless about what Ellena was mentioning. And as it wasn't really publicized, Ellena slowly described it.

From variants to demons, she explained the difference between them. And as she started to get into the topic of demons, she explained how to identify one. From the red markings, if they can't defeat it by killing it, they must be sure to remove the rune from their skin.

When Elena finished explaining about demons, everyone nodded at the same time.

"I finally understand now, Master," Rosellete said. "That's why you wanted to be strong and also why you kept us. For the altruistic act of saving everyone."

Ellena nodded. "As a noble, I couldn't think of any better for everyone. I don't have time for contempt against humans. If they stand in my way, I will clear it and continue to strive. Even if demons are just hiding, they are still dangerous when dragged to their advantage. That's why I am eager to start a noble family myself so that I can fix our society to be prepared for demons."

"But when will the demons be publicized?" someone asked.

"It will take a long time since the adventurers' guild and other organizations are still taking time to understand how demons work. And also, it would cause a national panic if we publicized it." Ellena explained.

"I agree. So right now, we can just focus on building the organization solid from the foundation." Selena said.

"But let me ask you. This will be a difficult path for us. Will you still keep on following me even though it will result in your death? I don't mind if you leave." Ellena said, warning them with a worried expression.

"Don't worry, Master. Even if we try to save ourselves, we can't live another meaningless life. Even though we aren't over the age of 20, and are just starting out in life, so you do, Master. You saved us, and it's now time for us to repay you." Rebecca said, which everyone agreed with.

"Thank you, everyone."

As a result, everyone continued to plan about the organization's departments.

Aaron decided to have bonding time with Cules. He wanted to rely on Cules as much as he could, connecting with their interests and goals.

Since Cules was a bit of the cute side of Aaron, but still had the savage side of his kind, Aaron was teaching him how to act on his own. Of course, because he wanted him not to unsummon every time he summoned him. 

As it goes beyond his principle, as much as possible, he didn't want to use those who were close to him.

"Okay, Cules. I want you to learn how to shrink yourself. Do you think it will be possible? You have magic, right?"

Cules isn't now just a normal summon beast. Even with his undeniably strong rank, he is still powerful beyond it. Since he got magic, Aaron wanted him to teach Cules how to exploit it.

"Focus on your core and think about whether you want to be smaller." With a smile on his face, Aaron said to Cules.

"Groooohh~" Cules answered with an enthusiastic reply.

"That's my boy! Now, let's do this."

Cules started closing his palm together. As his paws were unable to move like a finger, he just looked like he was praying, but in reality, while sitting in a meditative posture, he was exploring his core.

Currently, compared to Blessed standards, Cules has a qualification of 2nd circle mage or True Mage. 

'It was fortunate that the Heavenly Lord of Magic system had some instructions for teaching magic. Since I couldn't really express it to Ellena and would be useless to try it, Cules can have it since our connection is where I have the most dominant part, which means what I wanted to explain will be expressed to him completely.'

Aaron was just observing Cules and when more time was used, he noticed that Cules was starting to lose size. He was starting to shrink at a slow pace, but Aaron wasn't dismayed. It was the progress he wanted.

'Now... Cules can watch for Ellena, even though I am not on her side personally. I will also know what happens around here even if I am not physically present.'

With the connection with Cules, Aaron can finally focus more on investigating more things. Other knowledge of theories of power won't be necessarily important to him right now. What he must focus on is the fight with the demons.

He opened the creation window of the Heavenly Lord of Magic system to see the progress of the spell he was working on.

When Aaron opened the window of the system, he smiled to see what the current demand was in the market.

'Nurtured monster materials, huh.'

Because of it, Aaron finally realized more things about the demon world. The demon world is starting to get weaker than usual, meaning they need to invade this world. Since most wars occur because of a scarcity of resources, it's reasonable to think of this as a variable.

'Now I know that this world is nurturing their monsters. It wasn't just a test subject for them, but also insurance if they went into this world.'

This world's environment nurtures their monsters.
