Chapter 135 - Surrounded

"Rosellete. I wanted to test my technique, but it turned out that you won't experience it. At least, that's what I planned before I had to fight Verxal. But it turned out that the mysterious organization sent free test objects for me."

Rosellete just smiled. "No worries, Master. I was disappointed that I couldn't experience your might, but even though, I can just witness it myself."

Ellena nodded with a smile and looked at Thalia.

"You will see what I truly am," she said, then looked at the two afterward.

"I was not honest in the beginning but I trust you all. So, I hope that you keep this for ourselves."

Even though it was a little confusing and out of context, all of them just nodded.

I started feeling Ellena's stamina boosted tremendously as she also activated Pressure Aura. Without noticing it, their enemies were now weakened.

I am nervous at first. But after witnessing Ellena's hard work and how she put an effort to grow stronger, I grew confident. Of course, I am not arrogant and ignorant that Ellena might face difficulties. However, even in times like this, agitation won't help you that much. Maybe it will just let you feel the instinct, but it is also part of the instinct.

It is normal. So, right now, I just need to trust Ellena. She can do this.

That sword technique was common, but when proficiently mastered, it could turn a kitten into a monster.

"Please help me," Ellena said to them, and all of them nodded.

The men surrounding them also showed themselves. When they started to notice that the four were getting ready, they could only assume that they had noticed.

***

One hissed when Ellena looked at their location. It was one of the people who surrounded Ellena's group, and the commander of the four squads.

"Killian was right. This girl isn't a normal adventurer," he mumbled.

Some of his group were puzzled as to why he suddenly said it. Even though they were curious, they just didn't ask him.

"Don't underestimate her. She already noticed us. Slowly reveal yourselves, squad 3 and 4," the commander ordered over their communication device.

The leaders of the squads he mentioned obeyed his words and slowly revealed their location.

The purpose of this was to divert Ellena's group's whole attention. And seemingly, it was working since Ellena was now looking at those who appeared.

They were frustrated at first since their stealth skills were noticed. But being practical, the commander just patched it up to Killian's report, partner of Uno.

"Attack them. Don't hesitate to kill all of them. It's better, actually," he ordered.

One by one, and seconds later, they moved in a group, and they attacked Ellena without making any warnings or signs of hostile intent.

All of them are close-combatants. Since it would be problematic to have an area mage attacker in a huge group, they prepared to weaken Ellena by outnumbering her.

However, when their attacks were halted by Ellena's sword, they were perplexed as to why their attacks appeared to be weaker than usual. They were even using their abilities at the moment, but how could Ellena still keep up with them?

Five people attacked altogether, but Ellena effortlessly blocked all of them. On the other side, Rosellete was fiercely fighting with other men and noticed that they weren't that strong as she expected.

"Master! They are all weak! Please leave this to me!"

It was an absurd request in reality. However, Rosellete was thinking of impressing her master with her swordsmanship.

When Ellena noticed it, she just shook her head and replied to her. "They are not weak! It is just an effect of my ability. Be sure to defeat anyone you can as much as possible."

It was a disadvantage to show some of their cards. However, Ellena was anxious that maybe Rosellete had underestimated their enemies. They don't have any means of communicating, and just need to save space for each other. Letting the enemies hear it was also inevitable.

When the men heard it, everyone at the back nodded with vigilance. They thought that they all now knew why their comrades were having difficulties defeating them – it was because of Ellena's ability.

But Aaron noticed that they were starting to get unworried. He was above, flying over everyone to see the surroundings and the total number of people in the group. And as he estimated, they were at least 45.

"Don't underestimate her. Try dragging the fight, it will be to their disadvantage," the commander said.

Everyone nodded and tried prolonging the fight. And Ellena, noticing it, just smiled.

'They are starting to drag the fight? I guess I should instantly kill them now. They are now focusing on defense, so I don't have to worry about mine.' Ellena thought as she performed one of the forms of the technique.

In an instant, Ellena beheaded one of the men, making everyone's eyes widen, but they did not stop moving. Even surprised, they continued to execute their plan.

It was the first kill of the fight. And the men wanted it to be the last. But as they weren't anticipating the prowess of the girls, they lost another one from Rosellete.

"This isn't good. Everyone, attack them! Squad 1 and 2, support the first assaulter squads!" The commander roared as he also left the spot he was standing.

When Ellena noticed the total number, different from what she expected, she gasped for air and looked at Aaron.

"Do you have any recommendations for an appropriate ability for this situation? Like what should I exchange for?"

Aaron smiled after hearing Ellena's question. Seemingly, the operation of the Fear System is going to be prominent in this scene.

'Well, forget about the secrecy of her abilities. It's not going to be a secret forever, actually. Now that we have enemies to focus on too, it won't hurt if they back off if they discover that Ellena has plenty of abilities.'

Thus, Aaron started presenting the possible abilities best for this situation.
