Chapter 162 - Inside Massacre

The plan Aaron made as well as the girls' was for Ellena to infiltrate the cave in the woods, and the two were just to clean up with the bandits outside of it. It was some kind of a special room, so it wasn't used as a hideout, actually.

Since Aaron was intrigued with the place, he entered it when he was scouting and discovered that they were guarding some slaves' rooms.

Ellena nodded to Aaron's words and agreed with them. Since Thalia can't fight with a huge number of enemies, she can just guard Ellena's back in the case and wait for an opportunity to assist her.

And just as they planned, Ellena and Thalia head towards the cave with their weapons prepared.

They passed through trees and went straight to the cave. And as the cave wasn't actually that big, just enough to be considered a huge hole beneath a cliff, they could easily get into the slaves.

"Let's be more careful now, Thalia," Ellena whispered.

Thalia nodded and followed Ellena into the dark cave. And as the space was getting dimmed and only lit by a torch, a bandit noticed them getting in.

Ellena cursed and quickly strained the bandit, but she was unlucky as there were more bandits inside.

"It's not bad," Aaron remarked which took Ellena's attention.

"What do you mean, Aaron?"

"Hmmm... I wasn't worried that there were people noticing you since we could get help from my summoned beast."

Ellena's eyes lightened and flickered as she understood what Aaron was saying. An urge of excitement filled her heart.

"Then, do you mean, Cules?"

"Yup!"

The bandits finally formed and positioned themselves in front of Ellena. With their swords in hand, they confronted Ellena with their words first.

"Who are you?! We don't know you!"

Ellena just smirked. "Of course, you don't know me," Ellena said, then looked at Aaron.

"Yes," Aaron mumbled then finally calling out Cules, his Broaxen Summon. "Cules! Show yourself!"

Then, in just a second, a light covered Ellena and the bandits' group.

It was a ball of light and as it slowly disappeared, a huge figure emerged from the light, shadowing the light.

"Groooh!" Cules cutely growled as he was finally called by his master.

He looked at Aaron with teary eyes and a fazed expression.

"Grooh?"

Thalia at the back was surprised, as well as the bandits who were confidently standing before Ellena. Suddenly, a huge broaxen appeared before them from nowhere.

The bandits trembled slightly as they faced a problem with a wild beast in front of them.

Even though they were confused, it wasn't important as they needed to suppress the threat.

"Hey! Look, we'll settle things later. In the meantime, let's team up to fight this animal!" one of the bandits suggested.

Ellena raised her eyebrows in accordance with the bandits' question. She even scoffed a little that even made Thalia perplexed. Aren't they need to fight this beast first before the bandits since it would get in their way?

"Look, too. Who said that I'd team up with you criminals?"

Cules is considered a threat despite the fact that he does not show any hostiles. His kind is known to be savage beasts.

He was just looking at both sides with perplexity.

"Groooh?"

"Huh? Are you crazy? Do you think you can take care of this animal by yourself?"

"Who said that I'd take care of it? Well, indeed I take care of it in some ways, but not what you think because..."

Waiting for Aaron's sign, she intentionally prolonged her words to correspond with Aaron's order to Cules.

"Attack them, Cules."

Suddenly, Cules's expression changed into an untamable beast, looking at the bandits with a bloodlust.

The bandits' expression turned fazed, abruptly.

"... he is with me." Ellena finally finished her words, making Thalia hang up as well.

"You mean... that beast is from you, Big Sister?"

"It's actually from Aaron, but yeah, I consider him as equal."

"Groooh!" A cute, yet savage growl came from Cules that made the bandits move backward.

Without wasting any second, Cules started attacking them. The bandits started shouting in agony as Cules attacked them furiously.

He salvaged every bit of them with his claws and fangs, piercing through their skins. Blood splattered all over the cave and covered them with fear.

Points began to emerge as fear filled their systems, particularly toward Cules.

'Does this mean that through any connection with Ellena, points will still appear? Uhm... never mind, it's good anyways.'

Aaron just swept away the thoughts and continued looking at the death of the helpless bandits. Even with their abilities, they still can't survive him.

Thalia was sweating behind her as she looked at Cules. She could only feel agitated as this huge beast in front of them was also considered the most dangerous animal in the world.

Nevertheless, she just watched and waited for the result to come.

Everything was actually on Cules. He was killing everyone in his path. And Ellena just loved watching them. With one swipe of his claw, a path is made.

For her, it felt like the fear of the bandits as well as their despair fueled their urges.

There is sometimes fun and happiness blazing in her heart that she can't notice.

In a few minutes, to be exact, only 10 minutes after Cules attacked, another bandit appeared in another corridor of the cave. And just within the next few seconds, another bandit appeared with an alarmed facial expression.

The bandit looked at the scene and was frozen in an instant. He looked at the bloody scene, sweating and even shivering as fear embraced him.

"After him," Aaron commanded and Cules willingly followed, pouncing over the bandit and taking his life.

In the next few seconds, the whole cave was filled with horror. Shouts reached every side of Ellena and Thalia's ears, and with them, Aaron smiled in amusement, seeing how these people became helpless against Cules.

'He is powerful.'
