At least now I know what the problem was. If it were anyone else other than me, they wouldn't have been able to accurately pinpoint the problem. Well, if it were me five years ago, I would've tried extracting the unknown fragment from her body instead of trying to fix it.

Wu Jia sure is lucky because it was me who came to her rescue.

Now that I know the root cause of her problem, I decided to work on it. With my Qi Energy Conversion and Blood Transfer Skill, I worked on her blood flow first while I tried to speed up her recovery through the use of my Holy Qi Core. I didn't have to worry about running out of Qi Energy since I could always tap Qi Energy from my Qi Cores and transfer them over to my Holy Qi Core. Technically, I don't have the Holy Element yet but I can already be considered as someone with the Holy Element with my healing techniques. I guess I won't have to waste my twenty Element Orbs for this treatment.

Slowly but surely, I located the fragments scattered all over Wu Jia's body. Because of the explosion, the fragments of her second Qi Core were spread all over her body and I had to collect all of them. I'm prioritizing this because it's what's causing her to bleed out. To simply explain things, the fragments of her Qi Core were still leaking out of pure Qi Energy, making her body and her Original Qi Core take the toll. It was quite a merciless beast.

If I failed to develop any of my Qi Cores in the past, I would've ended up like her. Seriously, when it comes to greater powers, there are always consequences that go hand in hand with them.

"Wu Jia, just hang on a little longer." I gently whispered towards her, trying to reassure her that she doesn't have to die. I don't know if she could still hear me but she was still moaning weakly... which is a good sign. That means she's still alive.

the fragments of her second Qi Core were glowing a warm yellow color. I don't know what it is but there's probably a secondary element contained within.

With the help of my Blood and Dark Element, I carefully pieced Wu Jia's secondary Qi Core, making sure that I won't agitate it. That's where my Flame and Holy Element come in. This combo is probably one of the most effective when it comes to healing. After all, the Flame Element is attuned to healing as well.

Once I pieced them back together, I had to cover it with the Holy Qi Core and supply an excessive amount of Qi Energy towards it. If I didn't, then the fragments won't successfully fuse together. To put it in simpler terms, piecing it together is like piecing a puzzle together. And as for the act of fusing, it's like slathering clear glue over the surface of the puzzle so it won't fall off. That's why this is an intricate process. One small mishap and I'm back to square one... or worse, Wu Jia will die.

<Would you like to summon your Astral Lion?>

<Yes/No>

<Would you like to summon your Evolved Fanged Ice Wolf?>

<Yes/No>

<Would you like to summon your Rare Zombie "Feng"?>

<Yes/No>

"Yes, thanks System," I muttered as three of my pets appeared in their miniature form. Cluelessly, they looked at me, not knowing what to do since I didn't tell them anything about my current situation.

"Why have you summoned me, Tang Yongrui?" The Evolved Fanged Ice Wolf called out. As for Feng and the Astral Lion they didn't say or murmur anything. They just stared at me straight in the eyes, waiting for my orders.

"Please lend me your aid, just a small portion of your Qi Energy is enough, otherwise I won't be able to save this girl," I told them as I tried to sound as desperate as I could.

"Very well," The Evolved Fanged Ice Wolf responded as frosty air filled the atmosphere. "But in return, please release me from my domain every now and then. I've been there for hundreds of years and let me tell you, residing there is as monotonous as it gets."

"All right, I promise I'll put you in combat from time to time," I told him.

A few seconds earlier, I was already on the verge of losing control since my Qi Energy was being sucked out of my system at an incredibly fast pace. But now, with the help of these three powerhouses, my Qi Energy was boundless. Each of them has more than ten times the amount of Qi Energy that I have so I don't have to worry about draining them.

Wu Jia's second Qi Core gradually regained its shine the more Qi Energy I fed into it.  Of course, I was still controlling the amount of Qi Energy I was feeding it so it won't have to explode the second time. And aside from that, I was carefully fusing the fragments together so they would be able to merge easily as a whole. Just a little bit more... once I stabilize this, I could just leave it to repair itself naturally.

Once that's in progress, I worked on piecing Wu Jia's  Original Qi Core this time. Compared to the Second Qi Core which is still not that connected to Wu Jia, the Original Qi Core might be the hardest one to fix. This is because the Original Qi Core is deeply linked to Wu Jia. That means, no matter how much I fix it, if Wu Jia can't handle it, then it would just go berserk once again.

And need I say that Wu Jia is in no condition to cultivate right now? She has no consciousness, no concentration, probably no awareness of what's happening, and most importantly, she doesn't have the physical and mental strength. These are some of the many fundamental things that is needed when it comes to cultivation. For a normal person, this may seem easy but to Wu Jia who is on her way to the doorway of hell... well, it's as hard as cutting a cherry blossom with a toothpick while you're blindfolded.

For the next phase of her treatment, I have to cultivate her Original Qi Core in her place by controlling the Qi Energy Flow in her body. Sounds easy right? It's just like controlling a marionette, right.

Yeah, right. It's just like controlling a marionette... but the marionette in question has millions of strings and you have to make it move with a hundred percent accuracy.
