I take out the Plant Control ability book.
This is going to be an extremely valuable skill book that I don't by any chance want to lose.
Meaning the person who I hand this book must meet several requirements.
1. They must be scared of death.
2. They must be able to withstand boredom.
3. They must not like fighting.
4. They must be easily satisfied.
5. They must at the very least appear to be loyal.
The reason for the last requirement is because I don't trust anyone except for my sister, meaning I don't need them to be loyal. As long as they look loyal I'll use them for the chance of me finding someone I can trust 100% is not likely. So I'd rather have them fear death for as long as I have a ticking timebomb in them they won't dare betray.
If worst comes to worst I'll simply use Julie... her power would be useful to control certain important figures.
Now that I think about it where did I put her again...
Well, it doesn't matter for now but I really should start up this rooftop garden.
To plant something, I would first need Soil as well as the seeds of the crops I'm going to grow which means I best get to securing these necessary items first.
Dirt is the most easily obtainable item for as long as I go to the Columbus park a couple of streets down I'll be able to get all the dirt I need. As for the crops, I'd best just get it from the DP store.
The reason is that the crops in the world right now have yet to undergo mutation meaning they are only going to be considered as food which could be used to fill the stomachs of normal people.
But us humans who have evolved require not just the food which can fill us up but also Mana packed food.
Humans who evolved will at all times use up a lot of energy just to sustain their basic needs. After humans evolve to Tier 5 that energy requirement will be lessened because they can fill up their power by absorbing energy from the world, meaning humans after Tier 5 don't need to eat. But before they reach Tier 5 all beings need to absorb energy from the things they eat just to sustain their power.
So normal foods such as rice and whatnot are not going to be very sustaining for humans if they were to evolve. For the first month it'll be okay for most of the people to have yet to earn an ability and have only increased there physical bodies but what I want to do is to make every one of these people into an evolved.
Meaning I need a lot of mutant crops that provide the necessary energy to sustain their bodies as well as to train.
I quickly enter the Dungeon and connect to the DP store selected the and then clicked on the Food.
From there I saw a wide variety of food options which was from normal foods such as rice, vegetables, wheat, flour, seasonings, and many others. But they were really expensive.
1 Bag of rice was 1000 DP that is as much as half a labyrinth room.
I quickly went into the search box and typed in some edible mutant plants which were grown in times of the Apocalypse.
Blood Mana Rice (Per Bag) 10,000 DP
Monarch Potato (Each) 10,000 DP
Golden Beast Corn (Each) 10,000 DP
These were some of the more stable foods which were eaten by humans.
But dang these are very damn expensive. To cost 10,000 DP for each one...

Let's check out the seeds of these crops.
Blood Mana Rice (Seed) 1,000 DP
Monarch Potato (Seed) 1,000 DP
Golden Beast Corn (Seed) 1,000 DP
So 1/10 the price for a single seed...
That is still very expensive for I'm aiming to plant the whole rooftop of the Confucius plaza.
Well, I'll work out I guess.
I buy a total of 30 of each seed first.
With the skill plant manipulation, I could always get more seeds after they finish growing and then grow some more.
It is also perfect that there are 3 rooftops on the Confucius plaza making it perfect to plant them.
I first need the soil to fill up the rooftops so I'll have to get this first.
I pass down the order on the police radio to bring back bags of Soil.
Maybe I should go personally. I mean it's simple to bring back soil with the interspacial ring I have.
Nah... I'll just have them do it. It'll just treat it as an everyday task for them to do.
Besides, there are like 130 people out there right now. As long as each of them brings back a bag of Soil then I'll be able to fill up the rooftops in no time.
I'll be a good training exercise for them. It is not because I'm too lazy to go there myself.
Yeah, I'm such a smart leader being able to make easy tasks into a training exercise.
To finish making this garden will take about 2-3 days while the food I have now will last us 25 days. Meaning the food we have right now is ok for the first month but still on the low side.
If I remember correctly there were several grocery stores and restaurants along E Broadway street, well Chinatown itself is full of Restaurants I mean there isn't a single street without one so I guess the food will not be a big problem after we collect it all.
But I'll still have this garden started so that when the blood rain starts I'll be able to have a plenty full harvest which can feed awakened.
Normal food will be for the new people whom we saved while the mana filled food which is the mutant crops will be for the awakened beings which will become a lot more plentiful after the blood rain.
