Chapter 66: Take home to play

They didn’t chase into the forest. They stood a step outside of it, a divider line which formed from the sun shining down.

On one side, it was really bright, and the other looked dark.

Lin Fan wasn’t stupid to charge right in. If he really faced danger, then what would happen?

It was with much difficulty that he obtained the life of a rich young master.

If he really died or were captured, then he would be killed.

The soil of the forest was a little damp. It was evident that the sun hadn’t shone in here for a long time.

A grey mist spread all about, slowly drifting, making one feel terrified.

At that moment, that fleeing black mist appeared. It gathered together to form a human shape. It merged into the grey mist. One couldn’t see the face clearly, only a rough look.

“If you have balls, then come out!” Lin Fan shouted towards the human-shaped mist.

It really knew how to run.

The two of them chased for an hour before they managed to chase that person over here.

Looking at the situation, the black mist obviously wanted them to enter the forest.

That was impossible.

If the enemy doesn’t move, then I wouldn’t either.

To attack in an unfamiliar environment would affect performance.

The black mist didn’t move nor speak. It just stood in the grey mist, a pair of angry eyes stared right at Lin Fan.

Rage Points +222.

More rage points arrived. He felt that the emotions of this weird thing were much stronger than that of normal people.

Lin Fan wouldn’t let go of this chance. He cursed, “You shameless thing, actually daring to cause problems in one of my Lin Family’s villages. If you have the balls, then walk over! I will rip off your head and kick it like a ball.”

“What are you looking at? If you are unhappy, then come over! What are you doing hiding in such a dilapidated place?”

Zhou Zhongmao looked towards his cousin in shock; he was really going all out with the scolding.

“Cousin, calm down. Don’t get too riled up.”

Why would Lin Fan stop? If he did, then he wouldn’t gain any more rage points.

Rage Points +333.

It was really too simple. He felt that the small support system wasn’t trying to make him strong, but for him to enjoy the process in case it got too boring.

The human-shaped black mist showed signs of movement.

Suddenly, the mist gathered together and struck towards Lin Fan.

The black mist was like a snake as it twisted about. Then the mist exploded, forming a black viper mouth which bit with its two sharp front teeth.

Lin Fan slashed, his attack filled with internal strength. The Lightning Blade Four Strokes was really strong, and the human-shaped black mist seemed to fear it.

Peng!

The black mist instantly exploded and scattered.

Rage Points +444.

“What little tricks. Stop hiding. Come out if you have balls! Is there a point in just hiding like that?”

Lin Fan held his blade and waited. As long as he dared to come out, he would make that person into a handicap.

If he really couldn’t win, then he still had his cousin beside him.

“Cousin, do you have any lightning element cultivation techniques?” Lin Fan asked.

Based on their previous engagement, he noticed that the black mist was afraid of electricity. That was something everything evil was afraid of.

“Yes, but it is just a basic fist technique.” Zhou Zhongmao said.

“Enough, this thing is afraid of lightning. Just hit it with that basic fist technique.”

Lin Fan really wanted to capture the black mist and squeeze it dry of rage points.

If he really succeeded, then he would be able to fly into the heavens in one shot.

Zhou Zhongmao believed what his cousin said. He didn’t hesitate at all, “Okay, I will try. Cousin, don’t go in.”

Even if it didn’t work, with his strength, he would be able to retreat.

If anything happened to his cousin, he would definitely regret it.

He scoffed.

Zhou Zhongmao directly charged in and hollered.

“Big Dipper Silence Palm!”

Honglong!

A lightning sound broke out in Zhou Zhongmao’s body. Lightning wrapped around his palms as they rippled loudly. Thigh sized lightning bolts wrapped around his body and were directed by his arms.

“F***! That’s a basic fist technique?”

“Cousin, are you trying to act cool?”

If it were really a basic fist technique, he definitely wouldn’t believe it.

At that moment, Zhou Zhongmao was really quick. He dashed to the front of the black mist and smacked forwards.

Peng!

The black mist exploded!

Its form became unstable.

“Cousin, lightning really is useful!” Zhou Zhongmao hollered.

He thought that the enemy would easily dodge or that he wouldn’t be able to cause much damage. However, it seemed like there was a decent amount of damage dealt.

Lin Fan was delighted, “Good! I am heading over. Let’s take it down.”

When he said that, he charged over.

His physique returned to normal.

He used all his rage points and started to increase his stats.

Lightning Blade Four Strokes (Basics).

Lightning Blade Four Strokes (Go to next level).

Lightning Blade Four Strokes (Mastery through comprehension).

He was only left with 44 rage points.

However, that was already enough.

Physique and internal strength had both reached Grade Four, and he should be able to battle it out with the black mist.

“Cousin, be careful!” Zhou Zhongmao was worried. A thick internal strength broke out of his body. Lightning gathered on his palms as he struck out, he was about to scatter the black mist.

“Slash!”

Lin Fan hollered as he slashed out. He seemed a lot stronger; his physical power and internal strength gave out a far more terrifying attack.

Puchi!

The blade sliced the black mist. The lightning on the blade rippled and dealt it significant damage.

“So I am strong too.”

Lin Fan mumbled.

He increased his stats to such a level. Apart from not having an advantage against that assassin, against the black mist, he felt really good.

Slashing it up felt really good.

“Cousin, retreat. Leave him to me. I can deal with him.” Zhou Zhongmao said.

He wanted his cousin to stop and just leave everything to him. If he were injured, then that would be horrible.

“Cousin, what are you saying? Even if you can deal with him, you have to let me enjoy myself. Stop talking and attack it.”

Each blade from Lin Fan was his strongest.

The black mist was furious.

The two of them surrounded it. One of them was of a huge threat to him; he wanted to flee but couldn’t.

Peng!

The black mist was slammed onto the ground.

The black mist that was touched by lightning twitched.

“What is the strength of this thing?” Lin Fan asked.

Zhou Zhongmao said, “It is around Martial Path Grade Six. However, it is so weird. One needs to use special cultivation techniques against it. It would be really problematic without them.”

The two of them made him yield in a short time.

That was really simple.

At that moment, the black mist dissipated, and his form appeared. He was human, yet his skin was dark, making it look really sinister.

“I told you not to be arrogant.” Lin Fan stepped on his head and humiliated him.

Rage Points +555.

The black mist was furious, and suddenly it grabbed Lin Fan with a claw.

It was swift.

Puchi!

Lin Fan waved his blade and directly sliced off the entire arm. A black liquid scattered.

“Don’t resist. Be good.”

The black mist trembled. There was no more black mist protecting his body, and now there was only a thin layer of black mist around him.

“Cousin, you still have to be careful in case he struggles to the death.” Zhou Zhongmao reminded.

Lin Fan thought about it and nodded, “Cousin, your words make sense.”

Just at that moment, Zhou Zhongmao grabbed the legs of the black mist and sliced it.

Puchi!

Both legs were broken.

He then ripped off the last arm.

The black blood sprayed onto Zhou Zhongmao’s face.

Zhou Zhongmao casually wiped it off and laughed, “Cousin, it is fine now.”

He was really calm like he had done such things many times before; there was no shock nor emotions.

Lin Fan looked towards his cousin. He only had one thought, which was he was powerful and his methods were domineering.

“Good, not bad. Cousin, I have a different impression of you now. Take this thing back and let me play with it back at home.”
