Chapter 144 - ATTACK ON THE SCHOOL (Part-5)

*Zoom* a bright red light travelled through the high sky. The speed of the red light was extremely fast and left behind a tail in the sky.

*Zoom* *Zoom* two heat-tracking missiles travelled just behind him ,wanting to tear him apart.

Karna was travelling at a high speed in the sky, he glanced back and channeled his energy to create two gaint Spears flying beside him.

Karna Launched the Spears towards the incoming missile and raised his Spear in the sky.

"*Fire-storm*..." a huge activation sequence appeared beneath the tanks that of the enemies.

"Focus fire on him....."

"Can't he fly's too fast to lock on.....plus he is too small of a target for Lock-charge....."

"Dammit!!!!!.....start the barrier and protect the tanks."

Another magic sequence appeared beneath the tanks ,overlapping with *Fire-storm* and created a cube protecting the tanks.

The *Fire-storm* finally activated and burst into restrictive fire ,wanting to incinerate the shield and tank.

Even when the shield were bombarded by the intense heat, they still held up preventing the tanks from melting.

"Humph....." snorted Karna as intense fire burst out of his Lance and danced around his body.

"*Outburst*...." Karna's whole body was covered inside a giant flame ball. He descend towards the tanks.

Due to the intense heat released from his body, the terrorists had no choice to abandon their post and tanks while retreating far away.

Karna thrust his Lance forward.

Artoria was swinging her sword in all directions creating multiple golden beams shot out from her blade.

The terrorists also had 4-magician which were continuously using *Gravity-seal* to crush Artoria's body into oblivion.

Her armor shone with a golden brilliance as the *A-grade* magic protection and *C-grade* physical shell prevented harm from befalling her.

Looking at the 4-magicians trying to suppress her ,she thrust her sword forward as terrifying *Sword-intent* rushed out of the tip of her sword.

Even when the terrifying *Sword-intent* was heading towards them, there was no fear on their faces as if they knew that the attack wouldn't reach them.

Just as the *Sword-intent* was going to pierce the Magicians. An equally terrifying *Spear-intent* pierced her attack while dissipating in the air.

Artoria swing her sword horizontally, killing the terrorists with gun and looked up towards the source of the *Spear-intent*.

The red robed man was floating in the sky, two huge Blood-wings were located on his back. It could be seen that the wings were the product of Magic while the figure flying in the sky was a blood-s_u_c_k_i_n_g mutant.

Seeing the wings behind the back of the man, Artoria immediately identified the person in the red-robes as a subordinate of the *72 Death-apostles*.

The ability which the subordinate of the apostles could use the best was the *Blood-manipulation* thus they could extract blood from their body and use it was a weapon.

A large amount of Blood-mist gathered in front of him and transformed into a giant Spear.

He thrust forward his Spear which reaked of *Spear-intent*.

Artoria raises her sword the fearlessly crashes against the opponent even when she was being suppressed by 4-magicians.

{Meanwhile}

"Take cover....." said Juumonji as he raised his hand to create a shield blocking the incoming attacks, whereas Tatsuya used his *Decomposition* on the weapons which enemies were using.

Taking advantage of this opportunity ,Erika , Sayaka, Kirihara and Mari rushed towards the terrorists.

Those who tried to attack Tatsuya or do sneak attacks were the shot down by Mayumi who was using her sniper to assist the patrol team to clear out the terrorists.

Due to the *Decomposition* and *Gram-demolition*. Tatsuya soon became the most protected individual from them and continued to provide support instead of showing his offensive compatibilities.

Mari swings her whip and slashes apart the joints of her enemies and dodged the income attacks using their bodies that lay of the floor.

Leo uses *Gravity-seal* to restrict the movement of the terrorists whereas Kirihara drives his psion in his blade as a magic sequence appeared beneath his feet.

He rushes towards the terrorists with his *Sonic-blade* while deflecting the incoming attacks.

He slashes the hands of a man while dodging a strike from behind. He then turns back and slashes with his blade.

Sayaka takes a stance with her sword parallel to Y-axis (lol). While applying Oscillation-type magic on the sword, she slashes and the *Electromagnetic-shield* that was protecting them.

"*Wave-slash*...." her attack collides with the shield and generates sparks and cracks on it but the shield still held up and was constantly repearing itself.

"*Sword-Three:- Cleaving the mountain*...." her rotates her body and thrust her sword towards the shield.

The Field bend inside upon contact and broke. The terrorists inside the field fired their guns at Sayaka.

Mari throws a glass tube towards the terrorists which Mayumi shot with her sniper. Chemical spread throughout the place.

The chemicals start messing with their sensory organs. Mari uses this opening and swings the *Sword-whip* while extending it's range, beheading all of them in one strike.

She suddenly senses danger and jumps backwards. A Blood-red hammer smashes the place where she was standing.

A black-red robed man appeared mid-air ,six huge Blood-red wings could be seen on his back.

He glanced at the squard as a huge pressure enveloped their bodies. Mayumi seeing that the squard was in danger immediately shot towards the man.

Looking at the incoming shot ,he raises his hand and directly confronts the incoming attack ,crushing it into nothing.

Just as he was about to attack Mayumi who was on the roof of the building, Tatsuya used his *Decomposition* on the man's wings.

The wings behind the man started decomposing as he started falling down. The man snorted and increased his pressure ,making Tatsuya's C.A.D snap in two.

Seeing this Tatsuya was very surprised and immediately back off to avoid being crushed by the pressure.

The man raises his palm ,stabilizing his wings and reconstructs them. A huge hammer made of blood-mist appeared in his hands and he smashes it downwards.

Tatsuya raised his hand and coats the surface of the shield with *Convergence-type* magic ,successfully negating the force behind the hammer strike.

Tatsuya once again raises his palm and a magic-sequence appeared beneath his feet.

Tatsuya uses *Mist-dispersion* on the man to vaporize him by dividing the atoms of his body at molecular level.

But nothing happened as the *Mist-dispersion* was in affective on the individual in front of him.

Mist Dispersion is an undisputed A rank destructive Decomposition spell that directly decomposes the physical structure of the information targeted. It works on inanimate objects as well as living organisms.

It can decompose muscles, tissue, bone, even organs into the basic molecules such as ions and the basic elements by interfering with the structural information. It is described as being considerably mundane and quiet.

There is no sound or light emitted and when raised to the highest degree of Decomposition, even easily flammable materials will not ignite. The objects dissipate to dust, transform into steam and then scatter.

This spell does not travel through physical space so it can be aimed through physical objects and is not limited by distance by any means.

But Mist dispersion is based on the existing 'know-how' of the user and depends on the user to successfully read the Edios structure of the object.

And co-accidently the man flying in the sky is also a part of the system thus attacks like *Superpowers* which involves breaking and remaking of Edios structure are not of any use against it.

Making Tatsuya unable to use the spells which makes him 'Invincible'.

The man stare at Tatsuya and says "Cliff-hanger is one of the greatest Dao out there."
