Chapter 173 - ATTACK OF HOLLOWS (Part-1)

The satellite had reached the target coordinates, the psion particle cl_u_s_ter turned bright red. Like a canon ,the cl_u_s_ter burst forward and entered Earth's atmosphere.

The sky above the sealed location turned red, in shape of pillar ,the red canon blast impacted the rising darkness. Ichizu had his arms raised high in the air. Darkness continued to rush out of his arms to support the dark pillar which was fighting off the red pillar.

The cl_u_s_ter of psion was too powerful ,it was continuously pushing the dark pillar causing it to chip away bit by bit. Ichizu was continuously replacing the damaged part with more darkness.

His bloodline had so much power but the [World law] didn't allow him too use all that power. He could use infinite darkness but the power was still repressed by the law. Even so, his darkness was strong enough to handle an artificially created [Apocalyptic-level magic].

The magic was even in the upper power levels of the apocalyptic-level. Ichizu continued to pour more and more darkness.

(Meanwhile)

"Just how much of that dark fog can he use..????" Asked Mikihiko as he watched the darkness fog slowly slowly absorbing the red pillar.

"No one knows, even in the clan other than Nikasu, no one really knows just how powerful is my brother." Said Mahiyu as she watched her brother.

"Can he really infinitely produce that dark fog, and what substance is it...????." Pondered Mari.

"I once asked Ichizu that why didn't he you his magic often, he replied saying that the darkness or rather that fog isn't just a magic. It is a semi-sentient." Said Mayumi.

"Imposible...!!!!, How can that think be sentient. It isn't possible.!!!!" Said Hattori.

"That magic is an ancient magic which was created by the founder, no one really knows exactly what it is...." Replied Mahiyu.

They turned their eyes towards Ichizu, the dark pillar had nearly absorbed all the cl_u_s_ter particles.

(Meanwhile)

"Huff....Huff....its been sometime since I pushed myself this hard." Said Ichizu as he relaxed his muscles.

The red pillar was nearly absorbed, so he stopped supplying more darkness. Since the attack was stopped, he let relaxed and turned his head towards the group below.

"It's done guys....." A shout interrupted him.

"Ichizu look behind....!!!!" The shout belonged to Kaguya who had noticed spacial disturbance in the sealed area.

"What....!!!??" A reddish black beam impacted his dark pillar and tore through it.

Ichizu tried to support the pillar with darkness, but it was too late. The left over red pillar descended upon Ichizu.

His eyes widened as he thought "Shit!!!!.....", He willed his truth seeking orb to surround him.

The red pillar impacted Ichizu, it pushed him down in the ocean and thrushed him in the ocean bed, burying him deep inside.

"Ichizu.....!!!!!!!" His friends shouted.

Mahiyu and Kaguya immediately rushed towards the ocean only to be confined by Nikasu's Enkidu.

Medea, Scathach and Medusa ,in their concealed form tried to rush towards Ichizu, but the enormous pressure belonging to Nikasu froze them in their places.

Others tried to help but Nikasu's words stopped them in their places.

"He doesn't need your help, it's dangerous so don't act recklessly." He said with looking towards them.

"Little Nikasu release me, Ichizu is in danger...I must save him." Said Mahiyu as she struggled to break free from her confinement.

"No need, feel the fluctuations in the surrounding, he is pissed pretty badly. It not safe to intervene." Said Nikasu as he continued to watch.

The sky had already darkened significantly, space tears appeared in the darkened sky. Black colored monsters ,white mask and pointed spike like noise, Hollow black eyes.

"A cannabilatic Hollow????....." Mumbled Nikasu with narrowed eyes.

"Hollow???!...." Tatsuya immediately captured the words Nikasu spoke.

"What do you mean by hollow.???" Asked Tatsuya.

"According to Ichibē Hyōsube, an Ancestor of our clan, Hollows are an ancient existence, having lived in the First Era during the period when life and death did not exist, and progression and regression were twisting concepts."

"Yet even then, the circulation of souls existed, and Hollows eventually came to join it."

"These Hollows would devour the souls of Humans, causing the circulation of souls to stagnate. This coalescence birthed the first gigantic Hollow, a Menos."

"The world naturally rejected the existence of this Hollow, and the man who would come to be known as the Soul King, one of the greatest magicians in the history of magic, destroyed this new entity, allowing the circulation of souls to resume once more."

"The Soul King would continue to defend the world from the Hollows by annihilating them. Every generation ,the Soul king would fight against them."

"This isn't a normal Hollow, it is a Gillian."

"Gillians all look alike they are several stories tall, covered in a black cloak, have large white feet that look like boots, and wear white masks with long pointed noses."

"Gillians are formed when a Hollow's hunger becomes so insatiable that it can no longer sustain itself on Human Souls."

"In order to fill the growing void in their souls, these new cannibalistic Hollow congregate and eat one another until a Menos Grande is formed with a large body and tremendous spiritual energy."

"The melding of these souls causes them to loose their individuality, rendering them slow and stupid." Explained Nikasu.

"But what I can't understand is that why are they here????." Said Nikasu.
