A mountain of treasure!
This was the term that popped in his mind upon seeing the hill-like pile of pearls. And in the nearby room was a smaller hill of orbs, shocking him.
It was apparent that the horned men had taken his words seriously and had worked to the bone to gather such a vast sum within a short duration.
Compass Carburettor glanced at Gana, noticing that she was distracted, her eyes closed, focusing on the power that she obtained and the memory influx that she was experiencing.
First of all, the power of Beast Form as a Core Skill was different. But when used as a System Fragment, it only allowed one to turn into one mutated beast. And, Compass Carburettor had already selected the beast that the one bestowed with this power would obtain.
His Haggon Form!
This was because, when Gana turned into a Haggon, it was a replica of him. And due to that, she possessed all the powers that he, as a Haggon possessed originally before obtaining his Dimensional Space.
Darlac, Transcendence, and the fusion of Darlac and Apocalypse Pearl!
So, in an instant, Gana had turned into a powerhouse, possessing 10,000 Darlac, and the abilities of Body Layer, Spydragon, and Mecha. Adding onto the innate regeneration of the Haggon and its own apocalypse world ability, it wasn't a lie to say she was a powerhouse.
With this, he obtained a powerful companion to join his fights. Even if she couldn't deal the killing blow to the System Hosts, she could damn well expend their Mental Energy. This was why he turned her into a Haggon.
At the start, when he had just arrived at the apocalypse world, he planned to select one person and place all the Core Skills that were unsuitable to him in them. And after meeting Grisha, he had planned to give her all the unnecessary Core Skills.
But now, thanks to his fifth mutated beast ability, things had changed.
He closed his eyes, sensing the changes that were transpiring within Gana. She was slowly obtaining the power of a System.
Though in essence, her Beast Form didn't change, it was now a Skill. She still couldn't use it like Krager and take the abilities of every beast he killed. For her, it was like a Passive Skill. The Haggon Form was the only form she could take now.
And, if she wished to take on the form of some other beast, she had to let go of the Haggon form.
Technically speaking, she was still part of the horned men race. She wasn't a System but had obtained a fraction of a System's power.
And, this was related to what Compass Carburettor had attained through the Dragon of System.
Its ability was pretty much a replica of the System World, though infinitely inferior.
First was the ability to condense portals. From anywhere in the world, those among his Secret Society possessing the power of Systems like Grisha and Gana were able to create portals and appear within the Dimensional Space.
And from within the Dimensional Space, they could use his Mental Energy and condense a portal to anywhere in the world. But, the limitation was that their destination portal should point towards a living being.
Though, when they enter the portal, they'll only appear beside the pointed target, unlike a System.
The portal was the first part of the ability. The second was the ability of Grisha and Gana to gather and store Mental Energy in their bodies.
Compass Carburettor could sense that the limit of Mental Energy they could carry in their bodies was 100,000 Mental Energy.
The next ability was similar to Astral Network. Grisha and Gana were able to connect to something similar to the Astral Network. In truth, this was just an extension of Secret Society's means of telepathy, but with the Dragon of System as the core.
They were able to talk or chat similar to the Astral Network. And most of all, they were able to buy and sell things. At present, this means of communication was only available within the apocalypse world.
But, Compass Carburettor became aware that once the Dragon of System gained five horns, they would be able to transport items through this network even beyond the apocalypse world.
And, once it obtains ten horns, the functions unlocked would be closer to the Astral Network's functions, allowing for the trade of semi-animate items like eggs and stuff.
Having obtained a fraction of a System's power, they—Gana and Grisha—were able to fragment their Skill and sell it to others within his network. Though, this was only limited to the two of them now.
As for him, he understood that due to his development, he had reached a restriction similar to a System due to his Dimensional Space. So, even though he could also obtain the fragmented Skill of Beast Form or Remembrance that the two could sell him, obtaining it would cause him injury.
So, it was for best that he refrain from that and just allow the members to enjoy the benefits. And, since they were fragments of what barely amounted to a Skill, Compass Carburettor named them as Quirks.
And for people like Dana and Grisha, he named them Beyonders, people that had traversed beyond their racial limits.
And, for the network that they used to trade, he named it the Secret Network, feeling that the name suited them.
The moment he decided on the names, the related information flowed through Secret Society and into both Gana and Grisha.
"So…I now possess the power of the Beast Form and have become a Beyonder," Gana muttered, still reeling from shock.
"In the future, you can simply transport the pearls and orbs through the Secret Network." Compass Carburettor muttered, watching Gana get down on one knee and salute him.
"It's my birthright to serve my Lord." She spoke.
"Get the Remembrance Quirk from Grisha. You'll understand the truth of this world with that. Also, sell her your Quirk so that she too can gain my strength." He said and extended his hand, storing all the pearls and orbs in the Dimensional Space.
As for the pearls, he converted them into Mental Energy, smiling as he obtained almost 100,000 Mental Energy just like that. Ten Apocalypse Pearls were converted into one Mental Energy. But despite that conversion rate, there was just that much collected here.
'This has replenished a little of the reserves I've expended in the recent battles..' Smiling, Compass Carburettor condensed a pair of wings to fly away, heading farther away from Rhizen's location.
