Fang Ye continued to consider other animals to be introduced.

Since there are little pandas, raccoons can also introduce a wave. These little guys not only have fun, but also have interesting behavior. They can wash food by the water. It also allows tourists to better distinguish between red pandas and raccoons.

Then there's the predator corridor!

Lions, leopards, bears, these beasts must be engaged in.

At present, there is only one kind of macaque in the monkey world, including Yunnan golden monkey, ring tailed lemur and chimpanzee

Crawling hall, crocodile, snake

But the green leaf coin seems a little insufficient.

After the construction of tropical rain forest bird Pavilion and basic buildings, there will be more than 40 W green leaf coins left. If one Pavilion is 3000 square meters and 6-8W, it can only build 5 or 6 large pavilions, or turn several large pavilions into some medium-sized and small pavilions. Now that the zoo is expanding, of course, it is impossible to build only pavilions, but also consider new rest service areas, roads and greening!

The macaque exhibition area is still pit like. With the increase of tourists, it is not conducive to protection, education and publicity. It must be rebuilt. Coupled with the red fox mixed breeding area, the two exhibition areas can be determined. Maybe there will be another beast in the predator corridor and a crocodile pool in the crawling area. The remaining green leaf coins can be built.

So Fang Ye began to design the mixed breeding exhibition area first!

It is located behind the tropical rain forest bird Pavilion, on the left of the tour loop, opposite the predator corridor.

On the left is a hill for red fox! In order to avoid the conflict caused by Sika deer, there are relatively few plants on the mountain bag, but there are still some. It is necessary to provide shelter for the red fox.

A large rock on the sunny hillside will feel very safe if it is used as the entrance to the cave. There are a few sparse shrubs, and some big trees are sparse on the hillside.

The animal house of the red fox is located in the rear, so every time the red fox goes to explore the exhibition area, he comes out of this place. He is most familiar with it. He will run back when he is frightened by other animals. After mixed breeding for a while, he will take it as a safe place to live.

The right side of the exhibition area is the territory of sika deer. The vegetation here is relatively dense, with green grass, vigorous shrubs and trees. However, the plants in the ungulates exhibition area need special consideration, because these animals eat trees! Maybe it didn't take long for the trees to eat baldness.

Therefore, the tree species can be thorny and bitter, such as hawthorn, so that animals will not eat casually. Or it is to wrap a layer of metal net outside the trunk to prevent eating the bark.

There is also a Benjamin pile, which sprinkles seeds in the soil and inserts a pile of dried branches outside. It looks like a hedgehog ball. In this way, the leaves of plants can drill out from the gap between the dead branches. The deer can chew the leaves, but can't chew the roots inside, which can also play a protective role. However, there is no such thing as Benjamin pile in the construction interface, which can only be resettled after the exhibition area is built.

Ungulates need a certain private space, and some one meter high wooden walls or earth walls need to be set in the exhibition area to provide visual barriers and reduce conflicts between individuals.

Because they are also mixed with red foxes, they can get some fallen trunks, and red foxes can slip away from the gap under the trunk.

The rear is the territory of the rock sheep. In fact, compared with the rock sheep, Fang Ye wants to raise some Chinese hyenas.

Most people may not have heard of this name, but its nickname "four unlike" is familiar. The so-called horn like deer is not a deer, hoof like cow is not a cow, head like sheep is not a sheep, and tail like donkey is not a donkey. Including reindeer, elk and moose are also in line with this feature, and their nicknames are called Sibuxiang.

Chinese hyenas are more like rock sheep. They are good at jumping between cliffs and rocks. They mainly live in broad-leaved mixed forest, coniferous forest and rocky miscellaneous shrub forest. Compared with rock sheep with high mountain attribute, they mostly move in the forest, which is more in line with the theme of "spirit in the forest".

However, the Chinese hyenas are "neurotic" and have a strong stress response. They don't use their heads to hit the wall and attack the keepers in anger. It's very difficult to raise them in zoos. Therefore, there are few zoos in China, and the number is very small. It's difficult to introduce a few.

It is more difficult to mix with other animals. If it is put into mixed breeding, it may fight with other animals, and whoever is injured will be in trouble.

If you want to raise hyenas, you need to provide them with a very quiet space that is not easy to be disturbed, so Fang Ye chose the rock sheep.

The habitat of rock sheep is generally close to bare rocks or cliffs, which can easily escape the pursuit of predators.

Their best skill is rock climbing. Of course, there will be a stone mountain here. The stone mountain is also very beautiful as the background. Huge grayish brown rocks are built irregularly, and the rock sheep can climb up by stepping on the gaps and protrusions between the stones.

The whole stone mountain is a rectangular and wide wall, with a maximum of 15 meters. It is divided into roughly front and rear upper and lower floors, which is a bit similar to the Hanoi tower. There is a certain platform between each floor as a parking space. The slope of the upper layer is more inclined and the parking ground is narrower.

The last floor is almost inclined to 70 degrees, and there is a crack two or three meters wide in the middle. When the rock sheep flies on the eaves and walls and across the sky, it will certainly attract bursts of amazement from tourists.

A small lake of 300 square meters is placed in the middle of the exhibition area, so that the animals have the opportunity to meet by the lake. Red fox, sika deer and rock sheep drink water in different directions and observe each other. It is a picturesque scene.

Several sheds are scattered. The shed can provide shelter for animals displayed outdoors for a long time. When it is raining, windy and hot, animals can enter the shed to rest. Moreover, the grass is hung under the shed, which is not easy to get wet and mildew. The hard ground paved with broken pebbles can provide opportunities for sika deer to wear their hooves. Rock sheep already have a large stone wall to grind their hooves.

On the visitor's side, a section is separated by dry ditches. When entering the steep slope, put some fallen trunk stones to form a warning tape, which can be seen from a distance to avoid animals rushing in.

A gentle slope channel is set on the side to allow animals to come out. Herbivores instinctively want to maintain a wide field of vision and don't like to enter low-lying slopes, so they don't have to worry about going down the slope.

The bottom is paved with crushed stones, and the weeds are usually cleaned up. Animals have nothing to do and are not interested in staying below.

Just put a section of shrub and guardrail at the tourist point above the ditch. In the middle, the visiting point is facing the lake and the magnificent rock wall behind. It has the widest vision and transparent line of sight. You can directly see the animals drinking water by the lake and the rock sheep flying on the mountain wall.

The walls imitating the natural form are mixed with the trench barrier visiting surface, and there is no need for glass curtain wall.

Put some exhibition boards along the way to introduce these animals, and the mixed breeding exhibition area will be completed.

The raccoon exhibition area is a relatively simple exhibition area. One or two hundred square meters of space is enough. The small animal exhibition area is smaller, which allows tourists to observe more carefully.

There are some shrubs, a few small trees and a few perches. Raccoons are also good at climbing trees. They will build nests in trees. They like to live in places with many tree holes near the water source. They avoid open and difficult habitats for climbing trees, so that they can take refuge in trees in case of danger.

The most important thing is that there is a ten square pool, so that raccoons have the opportunity to show their wonderful behavior of cleaning food.
