Chapter 105: 5.7 First Violet Star - Holy Moly a Dinosaur!

Dragging Xuebao towards the location of the apple trees within his memories. Tuzi, this rabbit beastman proudly raised his head as he saw those bright red ripe apples on the trees in front of them.

Tuzi, who started climbing on the tree to fetch some apple fruits for them to bring home. "We came at the right time. The fruits just ripen." he said.

After plucking the ripest one from the tree, Tuzi threw it softly towards Xuebao. The latter caught it nonchalantly, he pulled out a water pouch made from animal skin and poured it over the apple before biting with hesitation and eating it. In spite of the moment Meizhou wanted to stop him from biting the fruit as this is the first time he had seen it. But he was a second late and looked at Xuebao worriedly, he appeared before Xuebao intently observing him. If he had seen any changes on the former he could carry him back to the tribe and have the tribe doctor check on him.

The listless figure of Meizhou almost startled Xuebao when he suddenly jumped in front of him. Looking at his frowning eyebrows, Xuebao knew that he is worried that the thing he just ate is poisonous.

"Spit it out. If you felt something weird on you, Bao'er." commented Meizhou.

Xuebao remained as cool as a cucumber as he chewed on the apple on his hand. Seeing Xuebao unharmed even after eating that weird colored fruit, Meizhou sighed in relief in his heart. He could see that his chosen female remained safe after eating and decided to take a few more of those red fruits back home for him, but before he could jump over the tree, Meizhou tasted sweetness filling his mouth. The bitten part of the red fruit which Xuebao is gnawing on just now was placed directly on his lips.  He paused in surprise for a few seconds before biting the fruit near his mouth. 

Xuebao watched him eat the half eaten apple he had with him just now. Then intentionally ignore him as he walks slowly under the tree where Tuzi is gathering apples above him.

Tuzi said in System Yue but to Meizhou he looks like he is talking to the air. "I thought Xuebao didn't like Meizhou?"

[It's not disliked. My host just like teasing the person he love.]

"Oh~ Xuebao is a mensao~" responded Tuzi.

[a/n: Mensao means outwardly cold or retiring but deep and passionate inside.]

Xuebao chose to turn a deaf ear on this two gossiping sisterhood.

This snow leopard beastman shouted from below, "Throw it down. I'll catch it!" said Xuebao to Tuzi, who is conversing with his system as they gather apples.

Tuzi's arms, which are half full of apples, decided to throw the picked apples to Xuebao who caught every single one with refined and subtle movements. Meizhou returned to Xuebao's side and took the fruits on him to be placed on the huge basket on his back. They remained silent as they worked.

After gathering enough apples Tuzi went down from the top of the tree with a huge smile on his face. His delight is so clear as he hugged those fruits on his chest.

Xuebao just rolled his eyes on him, "Stop hugging it! Put it inside the basket. I've seen some wild berries bush not far from here. Go dig it so we could plant it back in the tribe."

"Male God it seems that you are not only afraid of cold but also is a bit OCDic. No wonder you like to take another bath before going to sleep last night." said Tuzi as he walked in the direction where Xuebao pointed to him.

Xuebao just replied to him with a snort. "Just focus on digging the wild berries. I would bring this guy with me to uproot an apple tree root which we can at least try replanting it back home." he said.

"Replant apple trees? Ah~ you mean grafting it?" asks Tuzi.

Xuebao answered, "Yeah. When we return to the tribe I'll ask father to lend me some land for farming. You can look after it for me."

"Sure~ but will uncle really lend to you some land? The elders might not agree to it." responded Tuzi.

"They would. If they still want to eat food like last night. I'm sure those old men would start planning to have you teach cooking to the tribe in the future. While you're at it go teach them how to farm and sew and get everything done in one go." said Xuebao as he told Meizhou to get him the roots of the apple tree near them.

"Only the roots? Are you telling me it would grow into a tree with just this branch like thing?" asked Meizhou while pointing at the exposed tree roots near them.

Xuebao showed him a frown and pouted. "You can't question me!"

Seeing Xuebao pouting softens his expression. "Sorry. I won't anymore. I need to get all these roots from all these trees?" asked Meizhou while coaxing his chosen female.

"Yes! Just those roots! Not all the trees, just this one. We can't bring back everything with just three of us. Get working." commanded Xuebao while he watched from another tree's shade as he snacked on apples.

[Host, are you not going to help them dig?]

Xuebao with an unconcerned tone replied, "Do you expect a lazy person like me to work? Have these two... They could do it. I would prepare the ingredients for the meal instead."

[Oh~ Host there are few wild pheasants a meter away from here.]

"Good~ let's make some grilled chicken for lunch~" said Xuebao as he disappeared for a moment to get some wild chickens.

The other two were so busy with digging that they didn't even notice his departure. It didn't take a while for Xuebao to return with ten tied chickens with him. He keeps it alive planning to breed some for eggs and meat. He only killed three of it for lunch. With a slit on the necks of the chickens he hanged it to remove its blood after plucking all it's feathers neatly while he prepared other ingredients to make it easy to cook later. 

The whole process didn't leave a single hint of blood or dust on him. He likes to be clean even in this primitive world. But he would be making their lunch in this place, they would need to look for a river to clean the things needed to be clean. Like the hands of the two diggers which is now full of soil. Once he finished the preparation for cooking, Xuebao once again continued looking at the two who were not far from him.

He could clearly see who would be finished working first. Meizhou is also done with his work. Not only did he collect the roots his female asked him to gather, he even cut the trunk of the tree for firewood. It would only need a half more hour for him to be clean off that huge tree. Meanwhile Tuzi this transmigrated modern man who was transmigrated to a female beastman body is only able to dig three wild berries bushes for an hour and three are two more bushes to dig.

Tuzi is like any other ordinary female beastmen in their tribe. Their strength was only at the same levels of females in the modern world. The type of females who don't work out normally in their life. They only have limited strength and stamina.

Half an hour later, Meizhou indeed finished his task and made preparations to leave. He tied up the important roots under the basket while carrying firewood under his arm. Then he walks back to where Xuebao is resting.

Xuebao yells, "Tuzi you can only dig that last bush and we have to leave. We still need to look for a river to cook for lunch~"

He who have seen Meizhou standing beside his Male God, "Eh? Meizhou already finished his task?! So fast! Wait a minute, I just need to pull this!!" replied Tuzi who decided to pull out the plant which was halfway digged through.

Concentrating to pull the plant! Tuzi didn't even notice the two the shameless pair who watches him work hard as he pulls a plant that Meizhou or Xuebao could pull off without any effort. The two didn't offer help and just watched.

Between the pair one of them really doesn't care about Tuzi while the other wouldn't even help even if Tuzi asked.

Meizhou who passed a newly washed apple to Xuebao, "He would still need to pull a few more times before he could loft it off the ground." he said.

Xuebao accepted the apple without looking at the man who was giving him a heated gaze as he stood beside him.

"He really is silly. He could have asked for help from you. With your strength you could lift it off the soil with one pull~ chomps!" said Xuebao while munching on an apple.

[Host! That Edmontosaurus thing is approaching! From the direction where the Protagonist is!!]

Xuebao suddenly stood up startling Meizhou for a moment. Only for the latter to suddenly change expression when he heard heavy footsteps coming towards their direction.

"Tuzi watch out in front!" yelled Xuebao but even so his warning came few seconds left as a huge head with a duck billed jaws appeared in front of Tuzi.

Two huge pairs of beast eyes and a small pair of human eyes looked at each other. A short silence was exchanged between the two. Few seconds later the owner of the small eyes had his irises rolled back as he fell on the ground closing his eyes pretending to be dead.

Seeing this scene the other three not far from him looked at Tuzi like a brainless moron.

"Idiot! That's not a fucking wild bear. Playing dead will only result in being trampled! You stupid rabbit!" screamed Xuebao as he and Meizhou made their move.

One came over to pick up the silly fool and throw him somewhere safe while the latter blocked the dinosaur giving the former ample time to save Tuzi. The movements the two did was not something they planned or talked about. They made the actions in accordance with their trust in each other's abilities.

Meizhou grabbed the tail of the dinosaur and stopped it before it trampled its large foot on Tuzi. Xuebao moved instantly to grab the foolish rabbit and the wild berry plants, throwing the two at the area where the rest of the good was safely gathered. Xuebao threw Tuzi in the corner like a bag of rice.

Tuzi who got thrown head first towards a tree trunk in the distance. 

"OWWIE~~!!" Tuzi screamed in pain, he then opened his eyes in pain only to see the scene of Meizhou and Xuebao waving their weapons in front of a 3 meter monster. As a modern man he knew what creature it is. 

Tuzi couldn't help but shouted in shock. "HOLY MOLY! It's really a motherfucking Dinosaur!!!!" 

On the other hand Xuebao looked at the warrior in front of him and nodded as Meizhou gestured to gesture him to make the next move. The plan after saving the stupid rabbit is too hunt the creature. Thankfully it's not a full grown dinosaur. Since the stone knives wouldn't be helpful in fighting something this huge both Xuebao and Meizhou used their half beast form. This is a form that lets them use their human form while being able to wield their half of strength as in their beast form.

This form isn't that much different from their human form. The only difference is that their beast ears, fangs and claws came out. Soft white fluffy ears appeared on top of Xuebao's head with his fangs and claws turned sharper. He jumped on top of the Edmontosaurus and grabbed its neck. Meizhou who now has pit black round ears on his head, used his claws to hold on the tail of the dinosaur tightly preventing it from moving an inch as it struggles.

The Edmontosaurus tried to struggle for it's life only for it to fail as Xuebao who was grabbing on its neck used his beastman strength and twisted it to a weird angle. The creature couldn't even let out a scream before it's neck got broken and died instantly without even losing a drop of blood. The body of the dinosaur had fallen lifeless on the ground with a huge bang.

BAM!!!

Xuebao and Meizhou stood beside the dead creature without any changes in their calm demeanor. Tuzi who watched the whole scene of carnage from the distance looked at this power coupled with an excited and idolizing gaze. 

"Wow~~ that's a dinosaur right!? T-They could kill one this easily!!?" said Tuzi to System Yue hovering beside him. 

System Yue looked at Tuzi as if he was looking at a child who doesn't know the world. Then he murmured... 

[You still haven't seen them fight seriously. The bloody scene of hell on earth could really descend into reality if those two really fought seriously. This is nothing but child's play for this devious couple.]
