The lark felt as if ten thousand mythological beasts were stampeding over its heart.

It had finally attained enlightenment and was just about to make a breakthrough, but why the hell could it not absorb any vital energy?

Were those two on the battlefield monsters?

How could they control the vital energy from so far away? What a f*cking joke!

The lark fled the arena with tears streaming down its face.

It had to hurry up. If it didn’t find enough vital energy during this breakthrough window, it was going to become the first-ever Spirit Nurturing Stage cultivator in its village to fail a breakthrough as it didn’t have any vital energy to absorb!

It would become the butt of everyone’s jokes!!!

At the center of the battlefield…

The Vermilion Bird Princess shattered over ninety celestial swords with her kicks before swatting the remaining few swords into pieces with her colorful wings.

At this moment, the Evil-Slaying Sword had already transformed into the hundredth sword and was hurtling toward the Vermilion Bird Princess!

A boundless sword might erupted from this powerful white sword projection.

At that moment, all of the spectators felt as if they could hear the screeching of swords erupting across heaven and earth. Even though the spell formation was there, they could feel a sharp pain all over their bodies just from looking at the sharpness of the sword.

The Vermilion Bird Princess let loose a delicate cry as a boundless divine might burst forth from the divine seal on her forehead. Her red high heels swept through the air, leaving crimson trajectories in their wake as she used all of her power to try and kick away the final sword!

Boom!

A series of inky-black spatial cracks appeared as red and white energies clashed in a frenzy.

The sword intent continued onward with an unstoppable force, completely steamrolling the red energy.

The Vermilion Bird Princess let loose a sharp screech as her entire body was stabbed heavily into the ground by the Evil-Slaying Sword.

The white sword descended with an indescribable sharpness and had sliced the entire cavernous arena in half.

The Vermilion Bird Princess crawled out from the wreckage with a disheveled expression, and she raised her head to see An Lin holding a high-rank spirit sword in his hand. The high-rank spirit sword then shattered to form what appeared to be a rain of cherry blossoms, which was dazzling to behold.

Six Strikes of the War God, Sword Burial!

An Lin had swapped all of the high-rank spirit tools in his storage ring for spirit swords! And all of that was done so that he could use his tycoon attack in his hour of need! The Vermilion Bird Princess was the most terrifying opponent he had encountered to date, so he was not going to be stingy!

The Vermilion Bird Princess looked up at the cherry blossoms falling from the sky, and her eyes widened as she asked sobbingly, “Why are you still attacking?”

An Lin chuckled lightly. “I don’t have much time. Seeing as you’re so adorable, I’m giving you a full set of the Six Strikes of the War God service. How about it? Are you touched?”

“No…” The Vermilion Bird Princess pouted as she looked up at An Lin with tears shimmering in her eyes. “You’ve already bullied me so much. Can’t you just spare me?”

An Lin’s heart wavered slightly at the sight of the Vermilion Bird Princess pitiable display before he came to his senses and flared up. “Are you trying to trick me like what you did to the blue crow?

“Take this, demonic woman! This is my tycoon attack!”

He pointed a finger at the Vermilion Bird Princess, and a pink fragment appeared in the air before glowing with a boundless light. An immortal tree appeared behind An Lin as a sharp, ethereal power converged at his fingertip.

The cherry blossoms swept through the sky and converged around An Lin’s body before transforming into transparent, pink saber projections. At the same time, it drew upon the power of the moon in the sky to enhance its terrifying might.

Back when he was at the Soul Formation Intermediate Stage, he was able to injure the demonic baby, which was supposed to be a mighty figure at the Return to Void Pinnacle Stage, with his Sword Burial. Now that he was at Soul Formation Final Stage, just how powerful would his Sword Burial be?

Heaven and earth dimmed in the face of the pink cherry blossoms, and what appeared to be a few dull petals in the air suddenly became brighter than before as they demanded more attention than the moon and the stars.

The power imbued within the saber projections was completely subdued and nowhere near as impressive or vast as the previous spell techniques they had exchanged.

However, the Vermilion Bird Princess had never felt so grim. A sense of danger and death had engulfed her entire body… This was an extremely lethal technique!

Even though there was a spell formation there to protect them, the boundless sword intent surging from the technique still made each spectator feel as if there were a sword aimed right at their chest and was about to harvest their life in the next split second.

Many of the weaker birds had already fainted, and their eyes rolled over into the backs of their heads.

Even the more powerful living beings were staring silently at the pink saber projections without daring to make even a single move.

The Vermilion Bird Princess’ body trembled lightly, and the blood in her body seemed to have congealed in the face of the omnipresent killing intent.

“Lin An, I’ve never thought that I could be trembling with so much excitement. You are the reason why I participate in these arena battles…”

The Vermilion Bird Princess’ breathing accelerated, but her eyes were extremely bright as she looked up at An Lin.

The colorful wings behind her reverted back to nine streamers before converging to form a nine-colored divine sword in her hand.

“Oh? Not planning to kick me with your heels anymore?” An Lin asked in a slow voice as he continued to gather power while the pink saber projections converged to form a transparent sword projection.

“Hmph! Your skin is too thick, and it hurts my feet to kick you! I’m just going to slice you into pieces!” The Vermilion Bird Princess looked deeply at An Lin before her body disappeared on the spot.

An Lin’s expression shifted. He didn’t think that the Vermilion Bird Princess would choose to take the initiative. Wasn’t she afraid of dying?

The immortal tree behind him disappeared, and the pink blade was now at its peak state.

At this moment, the Vermilion Bird Princess appeared before An Lin.

An Lin immediately pointed toward her, and the pink blade congealed space with its terrifying killing intent before stabbing straight toward the Vermilion Bird Princess’ heart.

A hint of determination appeared on the Vermilion Bird Princess’ face as she too stabbed her nine-colored divine sword toward An Lin’s heart, upon which a terrifying sword might burst forth, causing the spell formation to tremor violently.

An Lin’s expression shifted drastically. Was she f*cking trying to take him down with her? What a crazy tactic!

However, he possessed the body of the War God, and thick skin was his forte. It was not going to be easy to pierce through his defenses, so there was no reason for him to fear her attack!

The Vermilion Bird Princess was bound to be the one dead following this clash!

Thus, neither of them evade each other’s attack as they stabbed their swords toward their opponents’ hearts…

The pink blade left a pink trajectory in the air, piercing through the woman’s dress and puncturing her chest as blood exploded forth…

The pink blade carried on with an unstoppable force. It even shattered the spell formation set up by the mythological beast before flying into infinity and beyond.

The tip of the Vermilion Bird Princess’ nine-colored divine sword collided with An Lin’s divine body, and a dazzling light burst forth like an enchanting flower in the night.

This strike was equivalent to a strike from a Return to Void Final Stage mighty figure, but it was unable to pierce through An Lin’s divine body in a short time!

An Lin was ecstatic, but he was then greeted by the sight of blood gushing forth from the Vermilion Bird Princess’ heart before spraying onto the blade of the nine-colored divine sword. The terrifying power imbued within the sword strike suddenly became even more powerful.

A chill ran down An Lin’s spine. She was using her blood as a sacrifice to her sword?

Could it be that she had planned everything at the start? She used this suicidal battle tactic in order to instill within him a false sense of security before unveiling this final trick to kill him?!

A smile appeared on the Vermilion Bird Princess’ face, and her eyes narrowed like a little kitten extending a sharp claw.

“Let’s die together.”

Splat!

The nine-colored divine sword pierced through his body as blood splattered through the air again.

An Lin stared with wide eyes at his punctured heart…
