Cheng Family Studio.
Cheng Xin sat in a chair and stared at the portraits covering the walls of the studio.
In her hand was a delicate bracelet that was part of a limited edition couple bracelet launched by a famous brand this year.
When you are is young, your heart is drawn to sentimental things, but once you mature, you fall in love with your lover. Cheng Xin finally found an answer in her heart.
After a long time, she sat up and stood in front of a portrait. She raised her hand hesitantly for a moment, then decisively tore down the portrait on the wall.
Cheng Xin dialed the number she had familiarized in her heart, then placed the bracelet in a beautifully packaged box.
Jing Hao, who has been very busy these days, was slightly surprised when he heard his private cell phone ringing.
He didn’t hesitate to answer the phone upon the third ring.
“Hao, I’m sorry, I was wrong.” As soon as Cheng Xin heard him pick up the phone, she began to cry. “Shall we go home?” The home she referred to naturally was the small residence that she and Jing Hao shared together for half a year.
Jing Hao likes Cheng Xin, but the problems and arguments between them keep worsening. Cheng Xin was too simple; she couldn’t understand the pressure he was weighed down with, and her attachment to his rival Mu Mingcheng undoubtedly added fuel to the fire.
Cheng Xin had no clue about his entanglement, but she continued on to say: “It’s my fault, my heart has always loved only you.”
“Alright.” Jing Hao closed his eyes. “I’ll be right there, you wait for me.” He couldn’t refuse Cheng Xin when she cried.
“Hao, you’re finally here!” Cheng Xin, who was waiting in the living room, immediately got up from the sofa when Jing Hao opened the door. She flew straight into his arms and rubbed her face against his chest, “Do you forgive me?”
“Um.” Jing Hao’s face was stiff and expressionless.
“Really? I’m so happy.” Cheng Xin didn’t notice his reaction. She raised her head, revealing her red teary eyes. She stood on tiptoe and kissed Jing Hao’s lips. “I thought you didn’t want me anymore.”
Cheng Xin looked deeply at her man, from his forehead to his lips, every inch of him that made her fall in love. How much has she hurt him all this time? Fortunately, it wasn’t too late for her to wake up.
“No, how can I not want you.” Jing Hao’s stiffness now loosened because of her kiss. He reached out and embraced his lover’s slender waist in assurance.
At this moment, Jing Hao was sure that he couldn’t let her go. Since he had become an adult, he had tasted countless women, and yet, only Cheng Xin can cause his to yield.
Even if his grandfather didn’t allow them to be together, even if she couldn’t understand the pressure he bore for the time being, he wasn’t willing to let her go.
“I know I’ve done a lot of bad things,” Cheng Xin said as she buried her face in Jing Hao’s arms. “But I’ll try to learn well.” She raised her head and stared affectionately at the man before her. “Please give me some time to grow up so I can stand side by side with you.”
Jing Hao’s tired heart felt as if it had been soaked in honeyed water. He never heard words more loving than this. The man couldn’t help but tighten his embrace. “Well, I’ll wait for you.”
“By the way, let me show you something.” Cheng Xin took out her cellphone and opened her photo album.
In her album were a few pictures that recorded her determination.
One was a torn canvas while the other was a picture of the display on her bedroom wall.
Cheng Xin smiled and continued to scroll down. Suddenly, she received a message from an unknown number.
The message continued a few photos. When Cheng Xin opened it to take a look, the smile on her face immediately froze.
