Reiji's explanation made sense to Luoyang.

If they are capable of creating a Sentient Arcana by using real human Arcanists, the Half-Step Deity surely has a method to create his Blessed Arcana… It wouldn't be that surprising at all.

"So, you think that the Dark Elf King can have more than 10 Blessed Arcana? Even the real Deities can only have 10 in this world." Luoyang replied. Although he's not a Blessed one, he's still aware of the rules thanks to all the information he got within the Mind Collection.

"I think so…"

"That's impossible. Blessed Arcana are the chosen ones. There's no way that Half-Step Deity can be that strong."

Honestly, Luoyang has been having a sense of jealousy and Reiji can feel it.

It seems that this Taichi Sword has a grudge against Blessed Arcana. Perhaps it was due to the fact that he was unable to become one. 

However, Reiji can't just ask Luoyang if he's just jealous about it. 

Anyway, being envied in his current situation is not something that even Reiji liked. For now, he wanted to make sure that this Taichi Sword would calm down and not do anything that would destroy him.

"That's possible. You can think of it as a different kind of Blessing. Aside from that, the Deities aren't here in the physical world. They are most likely inside the world of Arcana so they have limited abilities and limited Blessed Arcana." 

Reiji explained as he pointed out something that should be obvious if Luoyang was thinking straight. 

Seeing that the floating Taichi Sword is silent, Reiji added something that will prove that he's not working willingly for the Half-Step Deity. 

"Do you know that there's another reason why this mysterious chain is not just restricting my powers but also giving me a boost of strength that would allow me to reach the Mythical Rank?" Reiji asked. 

"What? So you know the reason?"

Reiji smiled, in his mind, after seeing that the Sword was interested. 

"Yes… Aside from not having another owner after the death of the Dark Elf General, I'm here to strengthen myself. The reason is not to become strong in combat but for me to endure their torture."

Reiji said with a calm voice. 

"Torture?" Luoyang was confused.

Reiji was marked by the Half-Step Deity and can't disobey his words. Aside from that, the Dark Elves just waiting for another wielder to be assigned to Reiji.

There's shouldn't be a need for torture if this is the case.

"It's true. However, the torture I meant is the method they're using to erase my memories…  No, I think they're trying to remove me inside this Arcana."

"W-what?" Luoyang raised his voice as he just heard something incredulous.

Removing the sentience of the Sentient Arcana? Is that even a thing?

However, after a couple of seconds, he recalled how the Dark Elves are creating Sentient Arcana. Thinking at this point, it somehow made sense that they are also aware of how to remove the Sentience of such Arcana and perhaps, replace it with a consciousness of their own!

"This… Why are the Dark Elves doing this?" Luoyang felt that his conversation with Reiji is getting too much.

The terrifying information that their conversation had would greatly change the Arcane Studies of the humans if they ever learned of this. 

It is such a scary knowledge to know and it would perhaps create chaos if the mad Arcanists learned about this.

Luoyang could imagine those crazy Arcanists he met before to capture young and talented Arcanists and turn them into their own Sentient Arcana.

If that truly happened, the order of the world would greatly be affected. 

This knowledge must never be passed down to humans. Luoyang had seen humans enslaving fellow humans after all. It's not an exaggeration that they would create bad decisions that would hurt mankind.

This is not something that Luoyang would want to see since he also befriended several kind humans while he was traveling around the Kingdom and nearby nations.

"Hmph… I can't prove that you're telling the truth. However, if this is the truth, we can't let the Dark Elves do as they please. Are they planning to take over the world?"

"Well, if you have a very strong Half-Step Deity as your leader, it wouldn't be surprising to have such thoughts. However, there seems to be something that is stopping them."

"What do you mean? Aren't they just waiting to have more Sentient Arcana before they launch their attack?"

Luoyang asked. 

"That's also a point. However, I think that it's not as simple as that." Reiji said as he wanted to explain a little bit more to the Taichi Sword.

However, as he was about to speak, the ground suddenly shook as if a large explosion just occurred nearby… But the weird thing is that there weren't any sounds of explosions at all. 

Since Reiji can't use his Mystical Energy to sense what had happened, he just waited for Luoyang to tell what was going on…

"Hmm… It seems that the reinforcement of the Dark Elves has arrived. We don't have much time."

Boom!

As soon as he finished speaking, a familiar man arrived at the room by breaking one of the walls. 

"Master Reiji!" 

Diether shouted after seeing the shinai tied on a stone pillar by a sinister chain. He was then followed by Stella, Stasis, and Ryu. It seems that they have already finished off the other First-Class Dark Elf after working together. 

"Your Master Reiji is safe. We need to leave now. However, I can't remove the chains. Do you think you can do something about it?"

They immediately tried to analyze the chains bound to Reiji. But as expected, they were unable to understand how to take it off even by force.

It was at this time that the silent Reiji spoke to everyone. 

"That's enough. I just called someone to help. Clear his way…" 

After hearing the familiar voice of their Master. The three immediately moved aside and waited for someone he called.

Whooshh~

In a blink of an eye, a Golden Trident struck the mysterious chain restricting Reiji!
